Well you just did, bucko. As far as I can tell, that thread has only had 2 or 3 posts in it in over a year. Why you'd come here to complain about it is weird. It's like you're talking into a mirror. 🙃

Isn't the CFR from 2022 or 2023?
-
Shady that forum is barely alive. Can you show me where you brought up the Club Q or the Buffalo supermarket shootings over there, or how ~75% of US terror killings over the last decade or so have been committed by white supremacists or anti-government extremists?? I'm willing to be proven wrong, but I suspect this is another case of oblivious hypocrisy.

So we've gone from "No the Bible doesn't have this", to then "well they're just proverbs and stories," to now this. What a journey. Is this question supposed to be a joke? You think that a group being 1/4 of the world's population, spanning the continents with all of their different races and cultures, history etc, makes it more reasonable to generalize about it? 🫠 I think it's bloody obvious that you've exercised near-zero critical reasoning on this topic. I don't know, but women were permanently imprisoned in insane asylums by their husbands/fathers up to the and into the 1900's for adultery or even just being disobedient. Sodomy was still a felony with harsh sentences in every US state until 1962. Lynchings were still carried out in the USA up to the Cold War and occasionally beyond. Question, how many stonings or executions for blasphemy do you figure happen in the Islamic world in any given year?

...and so the PP fluffers like Shady parrot him on social media and anywhere else they can. 🫠 Seems like little PP hasn't learned much from his humiliating defeat. He's still just a shrill.

Have you ever looked at a map? Do you know where Finland is in relation to Russia, and how that compares to Canada? You are exceptional in your field. 🤡
-
Sure. Can tell you me what the "story" or "proverb" is here? Deuteronomy 25:11-12 “If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his penis, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.” No, but I think there's a lot more to it than your "because Muslim bad". More like you didn't understand the point, which was to push back against your silly, sweeping generalizations about Muslims, and to demonstrate how you'd rather be a gay dude in Kazakhstan (Muslim) than in Russia (Christian), or a woman in Algeria (Muslim) over Ethiopia (Christian). There's evidently a lot more going on here than Considering this "Spaniard" was an Andalusian Muslim, that's a pretty goofy thing to say. Speaking of weak replies, what does it say about you that you went out of your way to call Ibn Rushd a "Spaniard" instead of the Muslim he was? Are you pretending that I can't come up with other names or something? Once again, you miss the point entirely. Sort of like all of Christendom was, up until very recently? 🙄

Sadly, he is not. Taxme still posts here.

Why do you even respond to him? He’s top 5 in the dumbest posters on this forum. Put him on ignore and use your time more productively. He’s literally talking about Poilievre being beloved in Canada when he’s objectively, measurably and widely disliked across the country, and probably the reason why the Conservatives lost. 😆
-
Yes, it really does, especially in the Old Testament, but also in the New, including passages on how wives must submit to their husbands and how slaves should be obedient to their masters. Nobody's trying to argue that Muslim majority countries are even remotely as progressive as an average Western one, buddy. The point is that they're not all the same. "Progressive" is a relative, contextual term, and there are numerous Muslim countries that compare favorably to some of the more backward Christian ones in these regards. I guess you missed the unrest in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amisi? Incidentally, I can name an entire movement of Islamic scholars who do agree with me, and disagree specifically what you're saying here. Look up who's widely considered the Father of Western Secularism. I'll wait for your response on that.

First Nations Summit Ends In Disaster For Carney
Moonbox replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Please write a short negative rant about Mark Carney, from the perspective of a conspiracy theorist ChatGPT said: Sure — here's a short fictional conspiracy-themed rant about Mark Carney, written in a satirical and exaggerated tone typical of conspiracy theorist rhetoric. This is not a factual representation and is for creative or entertainment purposes only: Oh look, another Carnage cultist crawling out of their taxpayer-funded hole. Tell me, comrade — how does it feel worshipping a man who’s never been elected to anything? Prime Minister Carnage? Give me a break. He was air-dropped in by his WEF puppet masters to fast-track Canada's fall into the globalist abyss. Even chatgpt knows you're good for nothing but entertainment purposes. Everything you write is just another recycled word-salad of conspiracy slogans and catch phrases. You don't appear capable of original human thought. 🤡 -
Since it was a European commission meeting with Trump and Zelensky, not much explanation should be required. Canada wasn't invited for probably the same reason that Australia and Japan weren't. 🙃

Except I just showed you that they can and they do ban people from the woods, sometimes in large areas... If the point of contention is that the ban is over the entire province, keep in mind that: 1) NB is 1/13th the size of BC and doesn't have nearly the diversity of geography and climate that BC does. A province-wide ban in NB would be like BC restricting access to one of their biggest forests. 2) BC is much more accustomed and prepared to handle forest fires, with significantly more infrastructure, resources and experience dealing with them.

In addition to not actually doing any research whatsoever before commenting on BC wildfire prevention measures, you won't even read them when I provide them to you on a silver platter. So much for "At least he provides sources" huh? Restricted areas 11 (1)If the minister considers it necessary or desirable to limit the risk of a fire, to address a public safety concern or to avoid interference with fire control, the minister by order may designate a specified area as a restricted area for a specified period. Flouting Wildfire Act prohibitions (including area restrictions) can/will lead to fines . Those fines can be up to $100,000 if you're convicted in court. In addition to that, if you cause a fire that goes out of control, you may be held liable for the firefighting costs.
-
Convictions for ignoring prohibitions in BC can come with fines of up to $100,000. If you are convicted of causing a fire that goes out of control, you can be held financially responsible for containment, which would completely ruin you. I'm sure you researched BC's fire prevention policies before posting this, though, right? 😑 https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/wildfire-status/prevention/fire-bans-and-restrictions#about_proh

I think it's funny that he's comparing Poilievre to Ignatieff...

So does the Bible, and only the crazies follow it to the letter. Like any ancient religious text, it's open to interpretation. There are lots of Muslims who follow draconian and/or militant ideology (like Wahhabism), and others that are more progressive. Just as Christianity and Judaism have diverse sects and beliefs, so too does Islam. It's weird that you're still posting these absurdist generalizations, when that's the whole point of my critique of your post. You have this goofy idea that TheLeft™ and Islam™ are unified brands with codified thinking, and that you can just argue against the dumbest version of both. By that logic I can start lumping you in with the MAGA donkeys because they hate Muslims, just like you. 🙃
-
You're doing a pretty good job of demonstrating what an "ideological blinker" is here. This is a pretty staggering amount of conflation and the leaps in logic you're making are pretty out there. While you could reasonably argue that recent western governments have not done enough to screen immigrants in general, or even that specifically from Muslim countries, that's galaxies away from the same thing as supporting or embracing "Islamisism", and certainly not Nazism as you proposed. Islam is just a religion bud. It's no more or less deserving of criticism than any other. Medieval or fundamentalist/authoritarian Islamist countries are certainly deserving of criticism, but guess what? It gets criticized all of the time. Those humanitarian agencies and human rights groups that you poo-poo as being biased and compromised against Israel? Maybe go look at what some of them have to say about places like Saudi Arabia. Just because you don't pay any attention doesn't mean it's not being said. These groups aren't there to just say what you want, when you want them to. As far as anti-semitism goes, you look completely ridiculous squawking about that while at the same time proclaiming that Islamophobia is a made-up concept. Holy crap.
-
You're complaining that he's commenting on it despite not being from NB or NS and it not directly affecting him, as if he needs to be personally invested to have an opinion or...something. On the flip side, you're completely fine with everyone commenting (including the OP) as long as they share your view. Go touch grass, incel.
-
You literally said the Left™ was embracing the ideas of the Nazis, as well as the ideas of another group that apparently has the same ideas of the Nazis. What's there to reconsider? Projecting the cognitive fallacy on the object of your cognitive fallacy is a pretty awkward defense, I must say. Except again, that's all in your imagination. While Left or Right could be loosely defined as a political spectrum, with large areas of grey in between, even that would be grossly simplistic. It'd be better to look at it as a Venn Diagram, with an infinite number of circles overlapping from different groups/personalities/ideas/experiences, and debate against those individually rather than strawmanning against an absurdist, general fiction. Regardless, the idea that the Left™ embraces and hand-waves theocracy, oppression and medievalism in various parts of the Islamic World is complete and utter nonsense.
-
Except you went to great length to draw the imagined similarities between the Nazis and TheLeft™, and describe how the ideals of the former were supposedly being embraced by the latter. That's the literal opposite of "contrasting". That's not the silliest part of your reasoning though. The silliest part is this imaginary, monolithic and uniform Left™ that you describe for your own comfort, but that doesn't actually exist. 😑
-
I would counter that the Nazi version of "doesn't tolerate dissent" looked a lot different than what you imagine the monolithic and nefarious "Left" is doing to you today. This was easily the dumbest OP you've ever written.

Not many, but that's because Israel won't permit them to. Nobody trusts the numbers that Hamas comes up with, but it's Israel restricting access and making it hard for anyone to verify or confirm reports. They're the ones benefiting from the fog of war and doing what they can to keep things confusing. First, the NGO's require Israeli permission to even access the area. They operate there under Israel's boot as much or more so than Hamas'. Regardless, they're not trapped there, so the idea that Hamas is terrorizing aid workers into telling lies about Gaza is a big reach not only because we're not getting reports of that, but also because it'd be a ridiculous and self-harming thing for Hamas to do in the first place. The point is that neither have any credibility whatsoever. Citing an Israeli-funded propaganda arm whose purpose is discrediting humanitarian agencies is especially ridiculous though.
