By accounts, all were stubborn. What makes a good leader?

Have you noticed that most podcasts are male? But the CBC is obviously female? ==== I reckon that most females want security: Name recognition. Males are willing to take a chance.

Herbie, I understand your point. With Apple, they control/know everything - but it works and I trust them. With Microsoft, I don't trust them - but it works. With Linux, I trust the software - but it doesn't work.

In Canada, we do it the way Trump proposes. ===== I live in Quebec, Montreal. I cannot claim any of my provincial taxes, city taxes on my federal tax form. IOW, the Quebec government and the Montreal city governemt cannot foist costs to higher levels, other people.

Fergawdsakes, years ago Carney was Roman Catholic. Nowadays, religion is irrelevant. Carney favours green.

Mark Carney has done nothing to me personally. But the vast majority of Canadians know absolutely nothing about him. Most Canadians simply don't who this guy is. ===== I suspect that many voted federal Liberal (Mark Carney) because of Donald Trump.

People want something new: content. People want to talk: connection. Youtube (Google) is content. Facebook is connection.

Agreed. But Carney (and the PMO/PCO) dominates this Cabinet. I have never seen such a cabinet.

America's view? In spring 2014, there was a vote in Crimea. People there very largely voted in favour of joining the Russian Federation. In summer 2014, I traveled to Crimea. People spoke Russian the same way people in northern Ontario speak French, or even Acadians speak French. They covered their license plates to show they were Russian - not Ukrainian. Imagine French people in Ontario or New Brunswick doing this. ====== Trump is correct. This war should never have started.

The US Congress? The American people? Donald Trump has shown signs of tariffs. Sadly, we have elected a federal Canadian government that Trump wants.

After the mid-terms of 2026, if the Republicans win, I think Trump as president may impose a federal consumption tax - collected by states. But then he'll reduce federal income tax - he may even remove them. Trump is a weird guy.

Like Clark in 1979, Carney seems to think that he has a majority. Let's see.
