Anything 2 years plus a day is Federal time in the pen. 2 years less a day is Provincial time in a Provincial Jail which is what he had. When doing Provincial time one has a first parole hearing after 1/3 of their sentence and mandatory release after 2/3 of the time for good behavior. Federal time gets first parole hearing after 1/6 of time is complete...just a little fyi.

The thing I don't understand is that many of these new immigrants are far more conservative then the CPC could ever be yet they vote liberal and NDP. They do not support gay marriage neither Sikh nor Muslim support that but they vote for it. Those two religions as a whole are conservative so they vote against there own morals for some reason or another. And another thing. These changes are unfair to whom exactly? People who aren't even citizens of this country? Sorry but non citizens don't get to make or comment on policy of another country.

These are not peaceful occupations. The Indians are getting increasingly violent and destructive. Protesting is good and legal. Holding a town virtually hostage is terrorism. It was the Federal Liberals that stole the money not the Provincial Liberals. The CPC didn't steal any money at all, that isn't the issue. It is an alleged book keeping error stating that $1 million was improperly marked down. Nothing was stolen. This is how bad information is spread.

They should be arrested if they are trespassing period. OK that was inflammatory but so is your remark about the church...gimme a break. Terrorism won't help at all, that is what these Indians are, terrorists. Diplomacy is the only way to resolve this and to be honest the government needs to do something before people on both sides start getting killed. I don't get why they won't start talking myself, seems silly. Indians have some legitimate claims to be sure and yes they should be heard. What is the government waiting for?
