WarBicycle replied to WarBicycle's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
She quit her hunger strike, Khadr's trial has been postponed to January and she feels an Obama government would be more favourable to her cause. -

The West's newest cottage industry for Muslims is the child tax benefit. -

It's time you wake up and smell the coffee. Islam is the fastest growing religion, drive around any Western city and count the mosques; all have been built with money coming from the King of Saudi Arabia. Moslems refuse to assimilate, and have pressures Western governments to allow sharia courts. It is also the fastest growing religion. Here an example of what a 15 or 16 year old is capable of doing, I believe all found guilty of murder are serving life sentences. -

Had Omar Khadr been less than 15-years-old he would be have been considered a child soldier. -

I'm with you. He can no longer work because of his injuries, he would cost the province a fortune in medical bills and welfare payments. Let him rot in SuperMax. -

I was being facetious; send a message of discouragement to a member of Canada's most hate family. -
The Khadr Legacy Send her your best wishes, she's receiving very few messages of support.

It isn't a matter of ethnicity, it's the fact you referred to members of the Religion of Peace as beasts that upsets those who lean to the Left. One must always be politically correct when referring to religious murderous thugs.

General Motors closing truck plant
WarBicycle replied to Topaz's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
It's more like $55 per hour; I don't have a problem with a journeyman tradesman earning that wage, but it's far too much for a line worker. A journeyman tradesman is either a graduate of a community college or has successfully completed an apprenticeship. Line workers have limited skills and can easily be replaced by another unskilled worker. -

Nothing! Unions were responsible for driving most of the steel industry jobs out of the country; they'll eventually do the same to auto industry. The average pay for an assembly line employee is more than double the average industrial wage in the United States, and almost double the average here in Canada. Today's economy is centered on highly educated knowledge workers; unions exist to tax the worker and are nothing more than one more hand extended on pay day. Do UAW executives collect strike pay while their striking members are freezing on the picket line? I doubt it. Buzz Hargrove will retire on a pension equal to that of a senior GM executive, not bad for a former line worker who probably didn't finish high school. -
Anti-gun campaigner Pat Regan stabbed to death at home Poetic justice does not merely require that vice be punished and virtue rewarded, but also that logic triumph; had she owned a gun she may be alive today.
