What Went Wrong For Barack Obama
UShaditComing replied to M.Dancer's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yes, Americans are the same but Americans never did like unsuccessful wars. They can't understand why they can't jsut win it now. They really don't care all that much about whether or not the war is legitimate and just or not. They are propagandized so thoroughly that they are very easy to convince on any war. But the war is not going well and they want it ended. They don't understand that the US can't end it without winning. And so the Dems hold all the cards for now. But the Dems will soon be discovered to be just as big liars too. You're getting it now even though you are coming along kicking and screaming. And you're not making so many false accusations against me as you did in the beginning because you are getting tuned in to what 'my' schtick really is. I suspect that soon all it will be is your conscience which keeps you and I disagreeing. It may already be just that. -

Indeed it does but that doesn't mean that we should accept all the US wars as justified and good. We need to look closely at the pro-war propaganda and question it when it is fraudulent. This is your whole complaint about me on this forum. You don't want your wars questioned and especially in a way which leaves you flatfooted for a reasonable rebuttal. -
Why are you so angry?

Bush/cheney wrote: Well now that's taking this issue to an entirely new level. You can pretend to say now that you aren't serious and you most likely will but it's too late. Maybe American woman will have something to say about this! I would never hope or propose that Al Queda begin more terror bombing of NY city. Disgusting, and you and your ilk are wanting to censor my name from this forum! -

No, you're just intent on demonizing me because you don't like to admit that it's all about revenge. Why don't you try to say something worthwhile for a change. I don't think that Canada will be attacked by terrorists, as much as Americans hope we will be, but now that we have changed our stance in Afghanistan to outright fighting as opposed to our normal role as peacekeepers, I fear they are going to see Canada as just a puppet of the US aggressor. This may lead to notiions of revenge for our participation in Afghanistan. -

The smart bombs made up a small part of the total bombs dropped. You may know that and you may know that it was played up to look like they were all smart bombs. All the wars, same thing. Obama will do the same thing as Bush and so will Clintion. Get it through your noggin that the Dems are only using an anti-war song to sing because it is so effective with the people. The people will be fooled and that's maybe something else you know. Come on along with me on this and you'll learn something today. -
The Fall of the US Dollar
UShaditComing replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It makes little difference to me whether or not you want to admit that the US is in trouble. Many experts are stating it quite clearly now and we shall see. My hope is that it is because I want to see the US policy of war be changed. I have little confidence in that happening because I understand that it needs to win it's wars to get itself out of trouble. I fear that it's going to need to win a war with Venezuela too in the near future for Venezuela's oil. The setup is just beginging now for that one. Also Iran is by necessity on the hit list. And btw, the Dems are not going to end your Iraq war. It's a great political ploy to work on the people at this time because the people don't understand either that winning is necessary because of oil concerns. The Dems will likely get a president but I don't have much confidence in them being able to hold in there for more than 4 years. They are campaigning on false pretences and that will piss off the people even more then they already are. -

August- I see that no amount of reasoning is going to change your mind so why not take a different approach with me if you need to try to change my mind. Give us a reasoned argument on why the US is in Iraq. Give us a reasoned argument why you think that the Muslim world is trying to kill Americans. Or go back to the first war against Iraq and let's do some analysis on what that was all about. You know my position is that Osama was not lying when he gave his reasons for his attack on 9/11. Deal with it in a sensible way now. -

UShaditComing replied to BubberMiley's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I see dissimilarities and I see simlarities between George Bush and Hitler, although it could be more correctly stated as a simlarity between US foreign policy and Nazi Germany foreign policy. I understand that some Germans saw what was happening too and covertly opposed Hitler and his rise to power. In fact I know quite a bit of the history and could draw many parallels. The tactics, lies, and justifications for war which the US uses are all tried and proven to work well. Honest war historians will know this immediately. This makes little sense. If you are trying to tell me that the US makes it possible to doubt then you are wrong. My own country and the laws of my country make that possible. Don't try to be so presumptious. You may have a point there but you need to understand that the US war in Iraq is illegal and is based on false pretences. You also need to understand the simple message which many, many Americans are coming to understand and most Canadians understand only too well. They will stop killing Americans over here when America stops killing them over there. THe US had it coming. The UK had it coming. Bali we can get into in more detail if you like. Beslan was terrorism against Russia for another reason and the US supported the Chechen terrorists prior to 9/11. Now they can't of course. Spain had it coming but learned it's lesson and pulled out of the US war. Now they will be safe. Canada may be hit by terrorists for it's part in Afghanistan and I hope not but if it is then it will be understandable why it happens. This is simple logic my friend. The US needs to be blamed but that doesn't mean that the UK is guilt free. Most British citizens oppose Blair's war too. 7/7 was also a revenge attack of course. -
You mostly agree with how I saw it because I knew it was a hosting problem too because they needed more moderators to stay on top of the political criticism of Israel. The politics section was of course the reason it was shut down and JBG made that pretty clear. The technical difficulty was just bs of course and I talked to a person at CBC who pretty well admitted that with her temper tantrum and not answering the questions on tech problems. However, it was mostly Zionist objections to criticsim that made it not worth CBC's time to keep it going. 'That' is why they censored 'Jew, etc. I think they even censored 'Nazi'. And none of this was because of holocaust denial which of course is illegal in Canada. You know the Zionists will always try to make criticism look like holocaust denial. It's their whole schtick!

The Fall of the US Dollar
UShaditComing replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You might not be worried Alfred E. Neuman but your country is definitlely worried. Just yesterday it was stated on the news that the average American owns only 50% of his house clear and that house prices have actually dropped 50% in some areas. Your country could be in a lot deeper trouble than you appreciate my friend. If things don't improve substantially by the election then the Repubs are going to get the licking of their lives. About time because the American way is very sick now and this is the message I have attempted to get through your thick heads. Remember me mentiioning Will Hutton's, Declaration of Interdepence'? You should get a copy and read it and then you will understand. -

I understand all about deaths of the 'coalition of the duped' but the point I was making is that the coalition was made up of many countries which didn't contribute militarily but the US used the names of some of those coutries to make it look like it was widely supported in Iraq. And of course in the beginning the US had little interest in even bothering with Afghanistan and it's recorded that it wanted to just go to Iraq and bomb Saddam's country. I think it was Clarke who blew the whistle on that because he couldn't quite understand why. We who understand what your ME meddling is all about understood perfectly well that 9/11 was being used as justification for Bush2 to finish off Iraq. How patently fraudulent and sad. -
The waterboarding poll
UShaditComing replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Oh, but it was a capital offence because Japanese prisoners were put to death by hanging for the crime and it's the US which decided it would be a capital offence. Learning about the Japanese prisoners sure did put the brakes on you Americans on the waterboarding topic didn't it. I thought you would try to deny it happened but you seem to have done your homework and found that it did. So what should we do with Americans who are guilty of waterboarding prisoners? The US sort of set the precedence didn't it! And I notice that whoever chose 'aggressive and legal' is hiding so far. -
What Went Wrong For Barack Obama
UShaditComing replied to M.Dancer's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well you're right about Albright and she also said that 1/2 million dead children were worth it too. Canada took part in the Kosovo war and is just as guilty as the US for it. In fact Canada did a good portion of the bombing too and probably with US made bombs. I don't know if we make our own. Learn right here and now that I'm not in the business of denying guilt when it is due. Neither should you be. -
Why are you so angry?
UShaditComing replied to BubberMiley's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
That's for when you next say something dumb. -
No, it wasn't all that bad at all and yur recollection is just as good as JBG's. My honest opinion is that it was mostly pressure from Zionist lobbying that shut it down because they didn't want to hear any criticism of what was happening to the Palestinian people at the hands of the Jews. Of course there never was any anti-semitism because that would have been jumped on immediately by the moderators. It was also very biased toward the US because it didn't want any repercussions if we hurt American feelings and so it just didn't think it was worth the effort and risk in running it. I was very disappointed in the CBC for that move and let them know several times. They never did answer and explain why they shut it down. On the board they used the excuse that they had technical difficulties which they couldn't fix.
-
So JBG, that's interesting about the CBC board. I hadn't heard that but I do know what it was all about. It was nothing more than the CBC censoring any criticism of Israel and the Zionist regime. The racial slurs were a totallly different thing. I notice that you dishonestly tried to make it out to be something else. And that my friend is the reason the CBC board went down and you indeed did have an indirect influence in having it shut down.
-
Actually now that you mention it, the CBC forum banned the use of words 'Jew', 'Jewish', and a few others years ago. It wasn't because of anti-semitism at that time but because some posters, me included, spoke out against Israel's apartheid regime and it's apartheid wall which is absolutely horrible treatment of the Palestinian people. You needn't bother seeing a little girl in your mind's eye every time you see my name. It doesn't mean the little girl had it coming or any of the innocent victims who died had it coming. It simply means that the US had it coming because 9/11 was a revenge attack. My own opinion on it is that it would be outrageous for a Canadian or American forum to take sides on the issue because even many Americans fully understand now that it was revenge. Nearly all Canadians do. But do you understand what you're trying to do here? Your country starts wars of aggression and kills millions of innocent people on false pretences and made up justification and then you want to prevent people from talking about it. This is not Nazi Germany yet sister, and neither is the US but people like you are certainly giving it a good effort.
-
Here's another clue for you. One of the forums had a thread which ran into over a thousand posts if I remember correctly. It was called: Is it time ............................................ Can you finish that title? You would be a supporter of the Kosovo war if you are a leftie as I now see in your profile. You've got me interested now. For what it's worth, I strongly opposed that war.

Why are you so angry?
UShaditComing replied to BubberMiley's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm really not interested in the personal attack but I sure don't try to discourage it. It reflects on your character more than on mine. But let's see if we can rise above it for a while because I find your comment sort of interesting. You say you don't care who started it but you don't say what. You must mean the insurrections between the US and Al Queda. If that guess is correct then it would appear that you can justify anything which eiter side does and it's only important to you who wins in the end. That's a very odd position to take in my opinion and so I would like you to explain yourself. Are you saying that the US is justified in it's actions because it needs Iraq's oil or it needs to be the policeman of the ME. There are all sorts of justifications which are quite viable and arguable and I've argued many of them. What is yours? -
Excellent! now let me guess. I haven't really paid much attention to what you have been saying but if I did I would make an educated guess. Here's a few names but some may be mixed up with the old Sympatico or the old CBC. Daryl Lazarescu, Saipan, JLG, Monty, Cynic, JWB Anderson, Ahy, Leiberman. I would love to talk to Cynic again because the guy was brilliant. I will never forget his absolute sureness of the fact that there would never be any WMD's found in Iraq. Man, I wish I had that knowledge and commitment to my beliefs. You can p.m. me with your name if you like and a brief description of what you had to say on some of the threads. Especially if you could name the most popular thread then I would know you are for real. And how about you naming some of the other names of people who posted on the two or either? Actually, after you said you had something to do with the shutdown of the CBC forum my guess is that you are one of the people who thought it was politically incorrect and damaging to Canada's image with the US. I know there was a lot of pressure on the CBC to do that. Btw, what was the mod's name. It started with a P. You have to know that if you're for real.
-
Good question Capricorn, and it deserves an honest answer. I ate my children about 30 years ago. Now what do you really want to know? Don't be afraid to ask questions because we can't see you and we don't know who you are.

The waterboarding poll
UShaditComing replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
\ Exactly you babbling idiot. In the US waterboarding must be considered a capital offence and is punishble with death by some novel sort of execution method. I oppose that and I therefore advocate locking them up for life. You on the other hand would advocate locking a person up for life if he stole three cookies from your cookie jar on three different ocassions. -
What Went Wrong For Barack Obama
UShaditComing replied to M.Dancer's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
He will if he gets elected or Hillary will. Then the repubs will have a war to oppose too. And another innocent people will die under US bombs and around it goes. Anybody confused on this should ask either shady or Bush/Cheney. They've decided it's all about hydrocarbons. -
