  1. Just another indicator of the steady decline of Europe. Sadly they appear to have gone past the tipping point. Once blasphemy laws are enacted and punishments are doled out the rest is pretty much just history.

  2. So what exactly does Trump have to do with this? Did he perhaps call Trudeau first and say "hey, you know what? It would be double plus good if you bought a shit load of vehicles to use for two days". If not then your Trump stuff is just a feeble and transparent distraction from the actual subject.
  3. These guys are good, great sound, very tight band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjpGA0hps_A&index=4&list=RD-2hxU4UG3dA
  4. It's one of my wife's favourites, she loves WOTE. Personally I think Wynne should have hired them to do the closing ceremonies at the Pan Am Games instead of crap talkers like West and Pitbull, after all WOTE are a local band.
  5. The case of Asia Bibi is shocking, but sadly all too common in the country of Pakistan. I've been following it for some time now and it's actually unfolding in pretty familiar terms. Her familly has appealed for asylum in Canada, among other western countries, but we don't hear anything about them Yet our government is quick with the old Twitter when it comes to an activist in SA. If the Trudeau government is as humanitarian as they claim, truly cares about the persecuted, then they shouldn't hesitate to get her and her familly out of there. Or is she below their notice, since she's a Christian? As a side note, Pakistan is a true cess pool. We consider them to be allies but the truth is that they're anything but that. The Liberals should act on this without hesitation. To do anything else would just be wrong. The joy over the acquittal of Asia Bibi lasted barely 24 hours. The Christian mother of five from Pakistan was forced to spend eight years in prison, much of the time on death row, ostensibly for "blasphemy," before the Supreme Court cleared her of any offense. "I can't believe what I am hearing, will I go out now? Will they let me out, really?", Asia Bibi said by phone after the historic sentence, according to AFP news agency. Unfortunately, massive street protests by extremist Muslims immediately erupted to pressure the government to delay her release. The phone network in some areas was suspended for reasons of "security". Rioting caused schools in Islamabad, Punjab and Kashmir to close. Roads were blocked, paralyzing parts of Islamabad, Lahore and other cities. Christian schools warned parents to come and get their children for fear of violence. Churches were put on high alert. Protesters hold placards that read: "Hang Asia Bibi". https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/13250/asia-bibi-pakistan-betrayal
  6. So how exactly would that be worse than what we have now? The absolute worst PM in Canadian history.
  7. How about some links, or even one. Without any reference you're just spouting hot air. For instance I know for a fact that he's not rolling back a single penny of wages, but you go ahead and show where he's cutting wages. I'll wait for you to post proof of these wage cuts that you claim.
  8. So what do you think you can do, as you put it? Sit around and argue over who hates Americans more? Stomp your feet in futile rage while your blood pressure rises as you slowely start to realize that normal people think you're a bunch of dinks?
  9. What is wrong with you? Everything you post is stupid sh*t about destroying America. It looks to me like you need help with your derangement. America is Canada's closest allie and friend, so no, we don't wish for demented crap like destroying America. Now give it a rest.
  10. So right off the bat let's get one thing out of the way Veterans benefits have always been for the serving member, not family members. After watching this I'm wondering if the Liberals have now widened the scope of benefits? Previously the only way a family member would receive anything resembling benefits would be through the base counselling office. Things like marriage or family counselling. That's it. So have they expanded the scope? Or is this just another bizarre idea they've had. Either way, I still don't think a convicted cop killer should receive treatment paid for by veterans affairs when he never served a single day of his life and claims that killing the cop (a young woman) gave him PTSD that needs to be treated now.
  11. So this is why there are no Islamic terrorists, just mentally ill people like the Danforth shooter.

  12. Since our new member Sophia spammed this right off the status section I'll re post it. It is more relevant than her rantings after all.

I guess Justin will be hitting the bong pretty hard after this. Finally, a Liberal with a conscience does the right thing for Canada and Canadians. Hopefully this will just be the start.

For someone "new," she seems to know what she can do in status update, things she can't do in the regular sections.

Poor Justin must've been really caught by surprise. Apparently, according to a pundit, Alleslev has an impressive CV.

But the talks between Alleslev and Scheer’s team began three or four weeks earlier, just a few weeks after she hosted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in her Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill riding.

Alleslev suggested criticizing the Liberals while serving as a Liberal MP would “undermine” the government, so she decided to oppose it openly instead.

Alleslev did not attend the Liberal caucus retreat last week. However, her riding association was still in touch with the Liberal team in Ottawa in recent weeks, a Liberal source said.

  13. So when Liberals or NDP win using that same system it's all hunky dory, but when the guys you don't like win then it's a ridiculous system. Alrighty then, carry on frothing at the mouth. By the way, the only peoples opinions who count in this example are the ones who voted, and a lot more of those voted for him than the other losers who ran.

Wonder how many others are thinking about

  15. Let's see some stats to back that up. So far what I've seen is strong support for Ford. His win smashed the Liberal party and the NDP, who many claimed would win, were once again relegated to the status of "those guys who never win". As for the notwithstanding clause, well that's been used some fifteen times in Canada already and a poll showed that 65% of respondents support Ford in his use of it. So...as I said, show us some stats to support your claims.
  16. Quick! Someone tell Justin about this. It's so much better than just trying to censor Facebook.

Just wondering how much election meddling Google did as opposed to Russia and who really  spent more money.... and... who worked with more politicians..  so who really had the greater reach and who actually influenced more people.... hmm.

So now that it has been proven that Google Is front for the Democrat  Party  what is going to be done about it...

  17. In fairness I don't think it's him alone who caused it. Outside influences are at play as well, including Soros with his Open Societies foundation who have partnered with the Trudeau Liberals on immigration policy. Of course it's supposed to be about sponsored immigrants but I find it interesting that Trudeau made his infamous tweet shortly after this partnership was formed. In my opinion Soros should be allowed zero influence on Canadian immigration matters.
  18. If you're saying that the secrecy of this government is far superior then you're correct. We haven't had a government as secretive and closed down as this one before. That fact has been made public based on metrics that monitor access to information, not to mention some "secret" activities that became public. As an acolyte I'm sure you'll just ignore that though. Your next point is hilarious in that it's Trudeau who is creating the wedge issue. It actually appears that this will be the go to tactic the Liberals will employ during the next election. The fact is that no other PM or government has ever caused the division that this train wreck is causing now.
  19. The thing I find most disturbing, the thing no one is talking about is the fact that Trudeau appears to be equating critical questions of his policies with hate. I'm left wondering if he'll try to expand hate speech laws to cover criticism of immigration, both illegal and legal. If he were to attempt to do so it would in effect be using the law to silence his critics, in essence forcing them into submission. That would be the end of democracy as we know it in Canada and the first biggest step towards totalitarianism. So once again I have to ask his supporters, would they continue to support him if this were his goal?
  20. Here you go, I paraphrased because I couldn't remember his exact words but it's essentially the same. I've provided this cite before because people didn't believe it. Personally I don't understand why people don't believe it. Pierre was quite open about his preference for Communism, he really didn't try to hide it. It just stands to reason that he'd favour Canada becoming a single party state. Given that Justin grew up at Pierre's knee, listening to and being indoctrinated from an early age by him, it just makes sense that he'd believe the same. I've quoted the relevant paragraph but the whole article is well worth reading. It sheds some much needed light on the kind of man Trudeau the elder actually was. It's nothing like the popular narrative spun by Liberal friendly media. It's a must read for all, including Liberal supporters, they've been lied to as much as anyone else. While Trudeau talked about strengthening democracy, his commitment to the system varied. In 1977 he said that in certain countries and at certain times a one-party state would be preferable. “I wouldn’t be prepared to think I would be successful in arguing that for Canada at the present time, but such times might come, who knows?” https://nationalpost.com/opinion/pierre-trudeaus-disastrous-record-is-finally-laid-out-for-all-to-see
  21. So has everyone forgotten what his father said when asked if he thought Canada would be better as a one party state? If you have I'll remind you. He replied that he thought it would, but that the time wasn't right, perhaps some time in the future. Obviously Justin was greatly influenced by his father, that's plain for all to see, and makes perfect sense. That being the case I really don't find it too far fetched that he would aspire to make that hypothetical situation a reality. In fact I've believed that might be his ultimate end game since he was first elected. He hasn't been shy about professing his admiration for other single party dictatorship type states, it's not too much of a stretch to surmise that he may want just such a system for Canada. My question, for all the supporters of Trudeau who post here is this. If indeed Trudeau wanted to abolish democracy in Canada and move us to a single party state, would you still support him and his agenda?
  22. And now, a quick trip across the pond for some CanCon. Neil young, 1976, before he got all preachy and annoying. The Canadian super hippie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8D-bhRmV7Y
  23. My all time favourite band, I saw them twice back in the late seventies. Ian Anderson, the master showman at work.
  24. Always loved the project, the first two albums were absolutely brilliant.
  25. So when is Trudeau going to go all hammer down on these guys? After all, rather than admitting Freeland screwed up major with Saudi Arabia he tried to make it all about human rights. So...when will Iran feel the sting of his petty foot stamping tirades?

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12847/iran-dancing-crime

Perhaps Iran can use this as their national anthem.
