  1. Not if Obama can control the climate.
  2. It's called fear of death.
  3. You have to be King of the Trolls. No one can consistently write such stupid posts. Obama would likely bow to you.
  4. What's hard to get? Either the message to youths is kill someone and you're throwing your life away or kill someone and be out in no time. If you're concerned about these 'children' you should realize that youth gang members will have a much easier time persuading them to commit murder with the second message.
  5. Did he? I don't recall him ever introducing such a motion. How about a citation?
  6. Those poor innocent "child offenders." What a bullshit term that is, designed to get sympathy. The alternative message that you can commit murder and not face much of a punishment is the one that scares me.
  7. I think a carbon registry would help.
  8. Basically, it allows us to keep statistics. That's it.
  9. It will save $25 Million per year. That alone is still sinking $2 Million per long gun homicide.
  10. Why is it a problem to flush billions of taxpayers dollars down the toilet?
  11. Without looking, how many times would you guess the word "kettle" shows up in a search? a) 1 time (original) 2 times (could be a coincidence) c) 20 times (okay, that's getting old) d) over 200 times (let it die please)
  12. ** Only applies if it's grown for the purpose of trafficking.
  13. A better story angle here would be "Liberal spies have infiltrated the Conservative Party."
  14. Apparently, you can't read my posts or my mind very well. No.
  15. http://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/media/nr/200...1116-2-eng.aspx The maintenance cost of the long gun registry is $25 million/year. That works out to over $2 Million per homicide committed with a registered long gun ( based on the above stats from 2003-2006). That's a little much. If it paid for itself, that would be acceptable to me.
  16. Keep in mind we're talking about the long gun registry, which the majority of Canadians oppose. A relevant poll question would be: "Would you support spending over $2 Billion on a long gun registry if the result was that only 2% of the long guns used to commit crime were to be registered?" Would you support this?
  17. It's likely more effective than yelling "Hey, is that gun registered?!!"
  18. Of course. Everyone is the US will register their guns just like they did in Canada. Problem solved.
  19. Which other leader do you think would see political advantage in doing so? Who do you think told the media about this thoughtful, sincere gesture?
  20. Not having blind loyalty to any party is a good thing in my books.
  21. In fairness, it is the direction of the minority government. If Harper governs like he has a majority, he gets criticized for it. If he provides massive bailouts that the other parties demand, he gets criticized for it. Well, he did save billions that would have been given away with kyoto. If that isn't waste, I don't know what it. Again, if they had a majority, I doubt we'd see all the spending/waste. Every time they try to make a cut, they hate women or the Arts. And the opposition claims they'll restore funding/waste. It's a ridiculous minority government.
  22. No we haven't. Canada.
