      No it isn't. 

      They're receiving 250,000 doses next week. The plan is to use it as second doses because Pfizer and Moderna are now supplying sufficient supply to have Canadians fully vaccinated by September.

      Astrazenca allowed younger Canadians to get vaccinated during a period where supply wasn't what it is now. 

      Clearly the mRNA vaccines are the better option going forward.

      So what took Canada so long to decide on this "brilliant" strategy of delaying second doses by 16 weeks and mixing vaccine types ?    Desperate times require desperate measures.
