  1. Nothing will change Trudeau's mind, it's set on increasing Liberal votes, globalism, open borders and hug a terrorist theories. I wonder about the rest of the party and the Cabinet, do they go along meekly with everything he does or tells them to do? When you have to erect tents you are at at capacity, if it continues there will be problems with the migrants who are allready complaining they don't get enough money and need cell phones. If they are whining now, wait until the crowding becomes a real issue.

Gosh, who did the antifa kill last week?   Nobody?    Who shot up the Mosque in Quebec, antifa?  No?  Who took over the wildlife refuge building in Oregon last year, surely that was antifa?   Not them, either, hmmm.   Then surely the antifa are responsible for the shootings at abortion clinics for the past decades?   Oh, not them.  What about the Oklahama city bombing, was that them?   No?   Well, then who was responsible for all these attacks?  Right-wing groups, really?  So what have the antifa done, exactly, that makes them a terror group?   Who have they killed, what have they blown up?   Oh, I see - they've opposed the type of people who have carried out all those crimes.   Got'cha.

Hey, I know - since it's been the right-wing groups murdering people, holding armed stand-offs, and blowing up buildings in the US, let's start a petition formally recognizing right-wingers as a terrorist group!

And in the meantime, let's call this one the stupidest petition in US history created by right-wing snowflakes who think they should be allowed to kill innocents and push a white-supremacist, neo-nazi agenda without opposition.

  2. Al Sharpton doesn't want his tax $$ paying for statues.  Gee - maybe when he starts paying taxes he can spout off about it.

  3. Wouldn't be surprised, but the vice-mayor of Charlottesville and member of the Virginia Board of Education has stepped down https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/education/wp/2016/12/01/virginia-board-of-education-member-resigns-after-vulgar-tweets-surface/?utm_term=.4548471db8b5 This all reminds me of the Taliban pulling down statues, not much different from each other really.
  4. I love CCR... another more modern one I love to dance to is Blurred Lines hope this is the clean version... hate it when the line dancing mob takes up the floor so not much room for us to swing it.
  5. Quebec is now building a camp at the border, if our gov`t doesn`t get a handle on this right away we could be looking at another Calais situation. If they have to stay in camps for a long time there will be trouble. Trudeau seems to have walked away from this leaving us all vulnerable to many problems, our gov`t is failing Canada.
  6. Our military is building a camp at Quebec border to house surge of asylum seekers.  Could this be the next Calais

RCMP joking or not should not be 'tour guides'.   Obviously they have to be housed and fed, but then returned ASAP as they are not refugees but illegal border crossers.

They could change their name to RCMB, Royal Canadian Mounted Bellhops. If this continues, or god forbid increases they may consider housing them on bases. I was posted to Borden when they did that with the Kosovo refugees. It was a shit show. Base personnel were told to have no contact with them, entire areas of the base were placed out of bounds for military personnel while the refugees were given free run of the base, including personnel housing areas. There were assaults, both sexual and violent, theft, trespassing in residences and many other offences. Nothing could be done about it. We were told it was out of the military police jurisdiction and had to be dealt with by RCMP. Of course there were no RCMP on base. We never heard if anything was done regarding the sexual assaults of two young girls, so who knows if anything actually was done about it? The theft issues were never resolved, or any of the other issues that we new of anyway. They were untouchable and the whole thing was a nightmare for the people on base. Chretien did make his orders very clear though, no contact, no interaction, they were royalty. The new barracks they housed them in had to be gutted after they left. They destroyed them, feces in hallways and rooms, carpeting torn up, walls smashed down, bathrooms destroyed. It cost a fortune and put the barracks out of commission for about six months after they left. They arrived and regular rule of law left at the same time. Of course non of this was reported to the public except for the marvelous photo op Chretien had with them when he tried to play basketball and fell flat on his face. Frankly we thought that was the only good thing about the whole damn mess.

Read about Europe and what is happening over there with illegal migrants in camps...   not a pretty sight.

  7. That is only protocol, it does not mean that she has legislative powers or powers of any kind to bomb people or start a war.
  8. Wow, quite a lot of inflammatory not to mention untrue comments. You need to apologize.
  9. Yeah. a politically oppressive Utopia with military conscription and a society that isn't quite free.
  10. Oh sure, then the hackers would having a field day. I'd rather have our (Canada) style of Democracy than a dictatorship, even a benign dictatorship. I suppose if you enjoy living in a brutal dictatorship it's your choice.
  11. Can't help it if facts are not your cup of tea.. judging from your propaganda, Goebbels would be proud.
  12. The stadium is overloaded allready, now they are opening more shelters. http://www.torontosun.com/2017/08/07/montreal-demanded-to-open-more-asylum-shelters-as-refugees-overload-olympic-stadium-location He pointed out that between 250 and 300 people are arriving daily at the Canadian border, up from 50 a day in the first half of July.
  13. The Queen has very little power at all, she's a figurehead, largely ceremonial who directs nothing unless she's told to, neither does she sign any orders unilaterally. She may be the 'Chief' but cannot and has never unilaterally deployed Canadian Forces. She is a Constitutional Monarch who 'reigns' but does NOT rule. The last Monarch to refuse the passing of legislation was Queen Anne in 1708.
  14. Bitter, rude and insulting.. best to ignore
  15. Toto - I'm not in Kansas anymore
  16. No English requirements for over 54 and just 3 years residency including part time, also Trudeau is protecting the citizenship of convicted terrorists. The next federal election should be Oct. 2019 but he could wait another year if he wanted to.
  17. We cannot absorb thousands of them without problems along the way as in, no jobs. What level of education do the Haitians have, if they are not skilled workers then we will be looking at huge welfare and medical bills in the long term . The gov't/Trudeau is waffling on this as they are likely preparing a general amnesty for all illegals in another year or so. This will be in time for them to vote (Liberal) in the next election.
  18. The Queen doesn't order Canada to do anything, she is simply a figurehead, part of our tradition.
  19. I don't think this is off topic. Have you ever thought about what would happen if a western gov’t fell being replaced by a dictatorship? Would anyone of us be the person to order executions along with sending people to starve in concentration camps? Wonder no more If you live in Britain, One of those people would be the former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone. I knew he was radical but he actually said: “One of the things that Chávez did when he came to power, he didn’t kill all the oligarchs. There was about 200 families who controlled about 80% of the wealth in Venezuela,” Livingstone told Talk Radio. “He allowed them to live, to carry on. I suspect a lot of them are using their power and control over imports and exports to make it difficult and to undermine Maduro.” When pressed, Livingstone said he was “not in favour of killing anyone”. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/aug/03/ken-livingstone-venezuela-crisis-hugo-chavez-oligarchs
  20. Yes they do. I emailed them once asking about the membership, at that time I was told they believe it was 15 to 20% of the NDP.

  22. Anyone here want to blame this on the US or Exxon ?
  23. Even the U.K. has noticed that the fawning Trudeauphiles are worshiping at his feet/socks.  https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2017/07/justin-trudeau-wants-the-west-to-worship-at-his-feet/

Not a good look for fawning, shallow Trudeauphiles who seem to prefer socks and looks over substance and good governance.
