I'd like to see the pertinent sections of the legislation, and if it is exactly as reported, so far I haven't seen the bill, or at least the sections of it that do away with requiring a warrant. Is the bill tabled now ? If it is as reported, then I don't agree with warrantless searches.

He was convicted of sexual assault in 1985, and more recent one did involve violence which brought an assault conviction. Why was he still out wandering around to commit more crimes.

Canadians should not be rooting for the Obama protectionist job bill to pass as it is not good for Canada. Obama's proposed billion $ package includes a requirement that all "iron, steel, and manufactured goods" used in public buildings or works be supplied by American firms. Protectionist measures like this impede growth and kill jobs. I tend to agree, I just read the about 80% of the education tax dollar goes to salaries, and what does a Liberal Arts degree really equip someone with- teaching ? More money does need to put towards skills, trades training and easier access, maybe a substantial tax credit would give employers a reason to hire apprentices, because it's hard to get into any of these trades.
