  1. Well firstly, I certainly do not think Alberta has a skilled labor shortage. The jobs aren't there. The postings aren't there. There are forums of people complained how they can't find professional work. Facts are most jobs being created there are low paying, part time jobs. Listen Geoffery, I'm beggining you to please take the 200,000 immigrants that come to Ontario each yaer. let them go there if you you guys are doign so great and have all these job openings. Let Harper work a deal with Ontario and Alberta. Canada already has the 'workers' coming here that your province requires. The greatest minds in the world come here. HIGHLY, HIGHLY educated people! Alberta needs immigrants badly. Now doesn't that make you feel good? Say 10 times and you can actually start to believe it. It will then become prophacy. Just say it. report it. Alberta needs immigrants. Alberta has a shortage and desperately needs immigrants. Alberta needs to the most skilled immigrants in the world. Lets give Alberta our immigrants and send them over there now. I'm ALLLL for it! After all, Alberta NEEDS immigrants, and immigrants 'NEED' work. That's what's called a 'win win'.
  2. Economic text books are worth flushing down the toilet.. most University books are actually. I like accounting and english though. Those books actually teach you something useful. Getting into global warming style economic ideoligy is nonsense. There's no laws of economics. Here's all you need to know about economics: when the feds raise interest rates, the economy slows down. 3. So becuase the police says it, you believe it's true?? Lol! There is an arab in Canada. He has the knowledge of making letter bombs. He had 3 explosive devices in his car that had a faily large boom when it was detenated.. could have taken out a dozen people easily. And you think that a landed immigrant from an arab country, wiring bombs is not a terrorist threat? He certain *is* a terrorist threat. He is someone that should not be in Canada? Don't you agree? Living on welfare in a basement apartment .
  4. YES SIR! (magrace, guyser, august1991, and especially Geoffery take note. ) Because unlike others on this forum, I see the reality in certain things. Most have their head in the sand. As far as maximum employment, I've never heard of it actually. Never heard the term used. Also, why do you like Canada more than the USA?
  5. Since the 17 conspiring terrorirsts were caught, Canada has decided to put it's head in the sand as far as terrorism in Canada is concerned. It happens to everyone else, but since it hasn't really actually HAPPENED here yet, we'll put our head in the sand for now on. Well here's a big story that I feel the media is actively attempting to bury. There were letter bombs in Ontario, 1 person injured. Another bomb was sent, but the smell of fuel stopped the person from opening it. Now the person was arrested and his car detinated today by police by the lakeshore: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...?hub=TopStories A 37 year old man was arrested and polic say this is not 'politically motivated'. WELL GEE, WHO WAS ARRESTED? WHAT'S THE STORY HERE? WHAT IS THE CBC TRYING TO HIDE??? OH YES, HERE'S WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO HIDE: "Adel Arnaout, 37, a landed immigrant from Lebanon, in connection with a series of letter bombs sent to people around Toronto and Guelph. They caught him at a gas station, and found several explosive devices in his car. " Now I QUESTION this AGAIN, What the hell is this person doing in Canada, how is he here, why is he here, and WHY ARE WE CONTINUELLY ALLOWING WORLD TRASH IN OUR COUNTRY!?? AND *WHY* DOES THE MEDIA IN CANADA HAVE TO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HIDE WHO HE IS?
  6. You must be a new comer to Canada. What country are you from? Thanks,
  7. what about '6 ppl deal over having a planned party'. I value life and like any normal person I would pay respects to the people who died. My wedding would be an honor of life to those that died during my wedding weekend. They died for me. You people are sick. But that's how Canadians are. I don't expect anyone here to agree with me. Americans would understand where i'm coming from. Real Americans.
  8. I think he needs to get a gastoric bypass surgery. Harper when he was fit: http://arcticmark.blogspirit.com/images/th...er_050927.2.jpg http://www.warrenkinsella.com/images/starbucksharper.jpg
  9. What are you talking about? It was the topic of tronoto radio today. And sikh people called up and said that what happened was sickening and NOT in their culture! (of course, those that were calling were ABCD's, not real Indo Sikhs).
  10. I thought you were a male. I've never known a woman so smart and opinionated. But I disagree with your post. Direct relatives died. A wedding is fake - it's superficial. It's a party. It's 50% divorce. A life is real. It was real. Those people who died were real. I have never in my life heard of something so selfish. Neither those on the radio and those at work. Canadians don't value human life; that's been proven time and time again. But this is sickening. THis is on a whole other level of selfishness and greed. I dont' care how far other family members came. 6 family members died a bloody death. A masacur if you will.
  11. Oh forgot to post the link: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/...bc-wedding.html Also made the cover of the Globe and Mail newspaper: http://images.theglobeandmail.com/v5/image....jpg?d=20070827 The question gets begged: "Why are they all in Canada? How did they come here? And how are they contributing to Canada?"
  12. An absolutely stunning event. Here's what happened. This even made news in India. In Abotsfurd BC, there was a Sikh wedding. As usual, there were lots of poeple becuase all they seem to do each weekend is attend weddings in their community. Each wedding usually inviting a green card into Canada of a person who has no means of supporting themselves or benefiting Canada. They are just arriving here unexplained, having children, and using our services. Anyhow, (sorry I had to throw that in).. Anyhow, so there are people Marching down the street in BC. Yes you heard me right. Without city permits and such. What they do is 'march' down the street like it belongs to them. And they bang on drums and dance down the public streets. This is how it's done in Indian and RECENTLY sikh's have started doing this here and in the UK becuase they are just so heavily ghettoized now. Ok so get this. They are marching down the street doing their thing like it's done back home. NOW get this, ANOTHER 'man from India' is driving a truck and was no drinking, no drugs, not even speed a factor, just a 71 year old Indian man fills up gas in his truck and then drives down the street. He comes down a hill, wasn't paying attention, and BURTALLY PLOWS OVER 6 PPL, 17 INJURED, 2 babies injured. Children injured. So get this. The investigating police officer, ANOTHER INDIAN, said that they ruled out alchohol and such and it was an accident. They are interviewing 'tens of tens of people'. :-| --> (that's a straight face). Now you won't believe this. The family having the wedding agreed NOT TO TALK ABOUT THIS AND TO GO AHEAD WITH THE WEDDING CELEBRATIONS. AND NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT IT!! People were called up the radio sation calling it 'sickening' and 'disgusting'. People here in Canada really, truly, do not understand the 3rd world mentatility. Everything is about self gain. You treat your own children as cattle. Family values is to secure money and that's it. Money these days meaning citizenship. Just imagine the bloody scene after this whole thing. It must have looked like a blood bath. People in shock. People instantly dead on the pavement the night before the wedding. But they don't care. They go ahead with it! Amazing. People at work talking about this even.
  13. Did anyone hear today that he's been granted to stay in Canada?
  14. Everything you posted was useless, a-typical, normal discoveries that any research team anywhere in the world can make. The issue is a solutions and bringing a product to market. Canada simply doens't play this game along with the rest of the world because we don not have private money in reasearch and our serious researches move to the US where they can be funded properly. What we have is a 'toy' or 'game' that these researches are playing around with. It's at the expense of our tax dollars. REAL modern medical research, meds, and cures happen in the US almost exlusively.
  15. Again I completey agree with jbg.
  16. Canada makes cures for things? Gee where I have I been. And why China? Why not France or Australia? Why is this program Racist and Racist gets? This is real racism.
  17. Really I thought the US never used to allow dual citizenship until very recently?
  18. Don't forget about the medical trouble you can have in another country also. Then all of a sudden they're coming here to get treatment when it's convenient. Hey might as well collect old age benefits too while you are living in another country and the checks are being sent home. Canada is in a crisis state.
  19. Yes. His 'study' means nothing. I can take my own study where the majority of second gen Canadians polled do NOT consider themselves Canadian. I can come to any conclusion I want the outcome to be. If someone has dual citizenship and is not paying taxes in Canada (working here), they are are certainly less Canadian. If someone does not speak English or French at their home, then they are less Canadian also. If someone who was born in Canada identifies stronger ties with their native stoneage cultures, then they are less Canadian. Maybe I should make a report up to prove it and get a publisher from the Citizen who is in bed with me to publish it so I can try to brain wash the masses into sharing my personal point of view.
  20. No where close to 120,000 people come here yearly on work permits. I wish that was the case but it's not. Do not confuse 'skilled immigrant work class' (or whatever they are calling it this week), with people coming here on real work permits. The latter is where you are employed from an employer before you come to Canada and are issued a temporary work permit. The US gets almost *all* of its immigrants from the latter. (legal immigrants i know). We have our skilled immigrants fill out 20 questions and get waived in with no job lined up, no nothing. These are NOT people here on work permits Renegade so stop trying to cloud the issue and misslead others. We need to move to a work permit ONLY system which would bring Canada maybe 20,000 people a year in remote parts of Canada that have labor shortages.
  21. Wow. I'm just so mad right now I can't respond. Omg.. We just sink lower and lower. The self hatred in this country is unseen anywhere else in the world. I'm just so pissed off right now...
  22. And why do you think Canada in specific has an organ donation problem? Why is that? Hmmmmm.. geee... I wonder why....
  23. Sorry. You are missing the whole concept. The consumer is king. We create demand, the vendor creates the supply. Demand creates supply. The saying 'supply and demand' may lead you to think otherwise. In actuality, the demand will create a supply. The supply that is created is the talent of the vendors and suppliers. Demand can be great for things in India for instance. However, the mindset to 'do good for the consumer' is obviously lacking. Suppliers only want to keep the usual ball rolling. So no supply gets created despite a demand. Also the infrastructure to measure supply is also lacking so everyone over there continually chase their tail and that's why they are poor countries. This is a mindset oriented fact that applies to different *countries*. A country may or may not be more reactive to the laws of supply and demand. The Koreans and Brits are very reactive for instance. And of course, the Americans the most reactive. In Canada, word around the dinner table and office says that the dollar value is almost the same. People know this. People also know that our prices should be reduced becuase we get most of these items from the US. But for the most part, it isn't happenning. I just made 2 more purchases off ebay yesterday because the prices here were too high here. This is the fault of suppliers and vendors. Canadians have a demand, the mindset of vendors here in Canada is NOT to supply demand. There is a demand of pharmiculticals in the US by seniors. Thus, there are many miracal heart medications and new pharmicuticals coming out quartely. Seriors here have the same demand, but Canadian supply almost NEVER gets created. No medical research, no nothing. Because it's in the Canadian mindset to be self hating. We must try to rip each other off and see to it that our neighbour fails and becomes misserable like ourself. It's a mindset that probably most here know nothing about. SOmething you have to be a born, raised American to uderstand. The income trusts were a lie that Americans simply could never fathom their elected officials doing. However, us, we just excepect it and congradulate him on top of this. There is a girl who gave her 2 weeks notice here at work. Her last day is on Fri. She's taking a paid day to work from home today. If I complain to a manager somehwere that she shouldn't be paid and what she is doing is disrespectful, they will dissagree with me, and say that it's 'good for her' that she's screwing over our little Canadian company. It's an inbred self hatered Canadians carry. So when consumers here have demand for lower prices, there is no supply. We still have 2001 pricing and 40% markups. The result is Canadians shopping over the border. The onus is not on ME to fulful my demand, it's up to the supplier to fulfill my demand. And in Canada these sorts of things don't happen. It's NOT a good thing to shop over the border. If eveyrone did this, we would no longer have a 1rst world country. We need to change our mindsets and stop being self hating. Our vendors need to support our consumers and LOWER PRICES. Everytime an immigrant walsed out confused out of our air port stinking like armpits and then making their way into our hospitals, Canadians just love it. It's like slapping our faces. Each immigrant wanders out of the airport, it's a slap accross Canadas face. AND WE LOVE IT!
  24. Don't you read/listen to the news? Yeah outright lying like how he did is unconcionable in the US. They are not used to lies like that from their polical leaders.
