  1. I agree. Last I heard we needed factory workers at western sandwich packaging facility. These exceptions are so rare that we'd probably take in 10-20k workers a year under permits. Anything more is simply saturating our labour market and driving down the lifestyle for Canadians. This especially doens't work under a communist healthcare system.
  2. We don't really know what the immigrants are doing wandering about Canada. We do know 2 things though. 23% of them are net contributors to Canada. And the majority of them vote Liberal. So lets figure out just WHY these people are here.
  3. It says they consistently vote Liberal. That's the only thing you can say about those ridings.
  4. 23% of recent immigrants are net contributors to Canada. We cannot sustain this world welfare system anymore.
  5. Then who else are they going to vote for? CPC? Lulz.. true idiots themz are.
  6. You can transfer the money, but the advertising is not meant to be used for federal gain.
  7. Liberal party and departmental corruption asside, do you feel the CPC did was the morally right thing to do and nobble for the future leading party of Canada?
  8. I was just pointing out how muslims and sikh's have an unusually large participation rate with our human rights commission to promote their political agenda. Yes sikh's we know. You are oppressed in India, and now you are oppressed in Canada. And france, and the uk etc etc. You are a minorty of oppressed people. Look at you! look at you! Would you like us to throw you another cookie now or later.
  9. We live in Canada. We do nothing right. If I was held THAT long without being charged, I would be looking for compensation also. There's a line between reasonable and unreasonable. 10 days is my maximum of 'reasonable'
  10. Wow. Another Sikh using our human rights commission. There's a suprise.
  11. I ultimately agree with this post. I am probably the most right wing person on this forum. I'm hardcore right wing. So much so that I beleive civil servants should not have the right to vote due to conflict of intrest. Part of being hardcore right wing is having respect for law and order and doing the 'right' thing. Yes I agree, that particular campaign law might suck. But the meaning of the law was meant to ensure that parties do not do what the conservatives did. This law is followed because federal parties at the immediate national level out of nobility will keep themselves clean from abusing their own laws. Adscam was not at the federal level. Martin using private healthcare clinics was done with his own money on his own time. Here was a federal, national party trying to poke holes into our laws because they don't agree with them in an attempt to air more national party ads. This behaviour is of the 3rd world do. On the other hand I also agree with August1991 mostly and am appauled at the Pakistani style of an organized, leaked, police shakedown of gov't affiliates due to political reasons. This happens almost daily in India if you watch the satellite. And it's all over partisan appointed departments and gov't officials. But over there, you go to jail to 'hush' you up. This is no different then what was happening with Musharaff many months back. It's just open corruption. Now *we* are going through the very same thing in our country. And I hate to say, this started with the CPC's open corruption when they decided to twist and bend our laws to work in their favor and create an uneaven playing field at a national level. As a conservative, I want everyone who was involved to step down immediately. That goes for Harper especially. Then we need to work on rebuilding our political system. Stop the appointments, take away power, and remove the power of these regulatory bodies and give them back to the people. I'm telling you, this Parlementary system and gov't structure won't work without personal nobility. If that is lost at the highest levels, we're heading for corruption that is typical in other contries.
  12. Do you feel what they did was the morally right thing to do and nobble for the future leading party of Canada?
  13. For them funelling money to local constituancies and then airing federal ads with fine print at the bottom to evade the election laws in a scamy way? And then $750,000 of 'our' (those who pay taxes) money has to pay for them? That is open corruption on the part of the CPC and Harper and those involved should step down. The RCMP leaks is just more Canada corruption. Our system only works off 'nobility'. If you loose that, then the system becomes corrupt. Don't you see, the corruptoin is all around this. From top to bottom. Same as a trash third world nation like Pakistan. When there is this level of corruption at the highest levels, it's not a very good sign. We really need to re-design our constitution and political system before things get out of hand. For instance, what right at all does elections canada have ordering around our RCMP? That is an obvious segway to an abuse of power so those powers should best be taken away. Why on earth would Elections Canada's head people be appointed insiders of a political party. Think about that. Think of how rediculous that is. It's a blatant, blatant, conflict of intrest. And you people find this stuff *normal*. You think it's ok. Another day in Canada. Wow our system and politicians are heading down 'that' path.
  14. Because other countries have these things called 'immigration policies' and do not let people into their countries unless they have a shortage of a specific worker. Even then I will most likely not be able to become a citizen. I'm gone after my job or work visa ends. I simply cannot get into other countries.. (unless i wanted to go to Asia to teach english.. but that is a very temporary work permit). It's funny how you guys think that every country runs itself like Canada. Canada is not a normal country. The best way to descibe it is one big 'farce'.
  15. Wow this is so disgusting. What 3rd world style of politics have we become. I'm truly emberassed to be Canadian (again). Are we in Canada or Pakistan?
  16. I overall agree and that's why I'm saying this stuff simply doesn't happen in first world countries. This stinks of Pakistan. Anyhow, I find it more troubling.. or equally troubling of what Harper's party did. That is simply open corruption at our highest level of office. That is a sign of a falling political system. A falling country. These really are signs that Canada is sinking.
  17. I support the conservative party and conservative principle. I do not support the people who did this and those that were responsible and feel that they should step down for doing what they did. That includes Harper. I find this very serious that this 'open corruption' is taking place at our HIGHEST level of govt right before our eyes. I would actually consider this to be worse than adscam (which is a daily occurance in Canada). This is beyond being partisan. We have our own highest level of politicians using legal loopholes to fund their ads to win elections and exploit our own laws in an ill contempt.
  18. You miss the point though. The laws of this country should never be attempted to be exploited by our own very political leaders. If it was one of our Parlimentary immigrants who simply do not even know how to sing the national anthem (i saw this live during a session once), then I would understand. These people really don't care deeply about our laws or country. They are elected due to ethic voting and really nothing more. But the Tories themselves at a national, federal level, actually seeked out this loophole in an ill contempt so the Canadian taxpayer can fund their ads essentially to get them in power? I mean.. what the hell were they thinking? With the Liberals, I can easily see how money got put into envelopes and got passed around. That's what our civil service does on a daily basis. But that's not at the federal level. But to have a political party devise this plan in ill contempt of our own countries laws is just horrible and something that rarely happens in first world countries. What an awful thing they did and I feel that everyone involved should step down or be kicked out of the party. That even goes for Harper because he was obviously involved.
  19. I agree. He needs to get the hell out. Our immigration system is a joke. We need to clean up our country.
  20. Funny how you think this sort of thing is 'ok'. Your used to it like a sad little canuck looking for your political daddy's to brainwash you and tell you what to think.
  21. Well that just shows everyone that (again) Canadian politicians are corrupt and cannot be trusted. Yes, i'm sure there is a partisan biased involved (which is more evidence of corruption), but it just goes to show the underlying sickness of this country. Who do we have involved here? Canadian judges, A political party, and the RCMP; The 3 things that make this an awful country to live in. I know most won't agree with me and I probably stand alone on my stance, but as a political group representing their own country, they should have a respect.. an honor for the good and just reasons in our laws. They should not be searching out loopholes to 'cheat' our own system. That is un noble, and extremely troubling. Lets all forget about the wording of the actual law. I'm sure there's loopholes. But the law was not designed so you can funnel money locally for federal political reaons and then put some small print at the bottom that it was for a local campaign ad and then get $700,000 of those ads paid for by the tax payer. That is just corrupt. And it's part of what ruins Canada as a country. Immigration has no reason. it's inner political corruption. Canada is not a very nice country. It's a very awful, sadistically corrupt nation with sheeps clothing. This happenning with our highest political party doesn't suprise me though. I've been in this country my whole life. I know Canada like the back of my hand. Another day, another Canadian dies on a waiting list and the media sleeps and politicians lie and the dumb Canadians believe as they say. Back up and think about it. Your gov't, whether right or left or whover you support, took part in knowlingly looking for loopholes of their own laws and own political system (that they support) to do something unboble, unjust, and un becoming so myself, as a tax payer could pay for their campaign ads. That is pretty sad. In a way, almost worse than how the Liberals were involved in their scandals.
  22. Only 23% of recent Immigrants are net contributors.
  23. No. It's not about what he said. I believe they can hold whatever thoughts they want. It's about the wacko left and our media looking for any excuse they can to downgrade the reputation fo the party. Imagine that tape gets used in a smear campaign during elections.. it's just not good. Tom needs to step down. If not harper should give him 24 hours.
