Wow you are so detatched from the immigrant world and their daily lives. It made news a couple days back from a private study that showed a large number of immigrants purchase homes within 3 years of them arriving. They afford the downpayment through the life savings they bring with them. We can all afford things that we can't afford. It's that sort of thing. We can afford a $2000 purse, but we really can't. Ya know what I mean? It's the same with them moving into these full brick suburb new homes. Sure you can play many tricks to get a mortgage with little down, but they are FAR below the living standards of the 'ideal' people who are to move into those homes and neighbourhoods. These houses were not built to have the basemsents turned into apartments, nore is it lawful to do so. They do it anyway. People even sleeping on the carpet in sleeping bags. I"ve seen it first hand. It's how the live back home. Just bare necesseties is all that matters. Family, race, religion, creed, cast is where their heart is; not contributing to Canada.

I'd disagree with that. They are socially conservative due to their very high levels of racism and xenephobia. But those always get second fiddle to what really matters: sponsoring in relatives and recieving state cheques for your children and organizations... like cricket clubs and mosques. The economy is neither left wing nor right wing. It's based after an economic model. Most of which these people do not fully comprehend from the 3rd world becuase they don't have capitalist based economies like we do in the west. Thus, they arrive and make irrational descisions like purchasing homes when they cannot even afford a mattress to sleep on. They spend like they do back home: They DON'T spend. They give it all to property and save the rest for big events like weddings and sponsorship. This is how it's done in the 3rd world. That's how it's done in the 3rd world. You don't really 'spend' into an economy and this is how they manage their money. Third worlders have religion, culture, creed, and race in the heart. Not the good of Canada, our economy or 1st world economic principles. The money they make is used as it is back home. Heck, most immigrants aren't even loyal to their jobs. A common thing I've noticed are immigrants looking for work their VERY FIRST week beginning. Money to them is just is used for political/community donations, family events and unrealistic mortgages. And that's ALL they spend money on.. Why? Becuae that's how it's done back home and that's all they know. They really do nothing for our economy. Housing market? All they do is make it so young Canadians can no longer afford homes because they are driving up the market value so high. How is it that a bit over half of 'skilled class' immigrants that arrived in the last 5 years cannot hold solid work, yet the good majority of families are purchasing homes within 3 years. They come with savings here, they go to community mortgage consultants, and drive up housing prices while collecting social benefits for their kids at home. This is LOWERS THE QUALITY of life for every Canadian and especially the up coming Canadian who can no longer afford to buy a home and have children. Why? All because these people, overwhellmingly, vote... Liberal. And that's the only reason why they are here, and that's the only reason why they keep winning elections.

I actually *DO* support them holding the hospital to account. I just don't support 'them'. I don't support them using our hospitals or being in Canada to begin with. I also don't support their motives. "This terrible country killed on of our own! Yes. That's just goes without saying.. i mean.. look at Meher Arar.. . I had a co-worker who 'fled pakistan!!' because he was being 'persecuted!!' just to go back every winter and bring more family over. I also love it how they keep their origional citizenship of the country they left. This again is goes without saying. The letters are faked very, very easily. There's no real medical exam. Everyone knows this... Actually most Canadians don't know this. What was suprising to all Canadians, is when 50,000 people were in Lebanon. That was shocking to most people. Speaking of that, since your in Hamilton, I was listening to the CBC radio and they were showcasing some school in Hamilton where the kids are learning Arabic through half days of schools in a pilot program. When it's Arabic time, you are not allowed to speak English. In our own public school system. Half the stories I never even bring up on the forum becuase I just have so many.

That is so true. Education matters when you are directly out of school. Real jobs care about work experience and communication. A degree is just a line item at the back of your resume. Only the gov't and other illigitimate jobs care about paper certs and such.

I've met someone from Iran who claimed this, I saw another report on the CBC about immigration where some aunty claimed she wrote part of a text book. Now for the third time i'm hearing someone make claims that they wrote part of a textbook. 3 times a charm. They are such experts in their craft that they are writing text books. China is a communist country yet the lady is a master in business and economics. She'll come into Canada and show us how it's done. How to do it properly. Get her over here on a visit if you can, she'll stay with you, have a child, and then live with you illegally while you apply for resident status under common law partner. Get married then and your claim will garutneed go through becuase she has a child. She'll also be entitled to many benifits. She will then continue to bring her family over on family sponsorship while her family lives with you and all of a sudden no one in your house is speaking English. And you can become another sad tale of a neieve man who got used. Your life beign turned into an immigration hell. Your house turning into an international hotel.. until you are the one almost pushed out the door. They did not purchase healthcare. They made donations. Guyser doesn't know the real story or have heard the interviews on the radio. The Toront Star peice was an inside published story that was carefully calculated. Bramptonians For Better Healthcare is really just an ethnic cultural organization trying to further claim the hosptial as their own and increase funding to support themselves. Maybe guyser you should look at the % of donations that they gave to the hospital. Regardless, this story proves 2 things: 1 - we need to move to a logical immigration system based on work permits. 2 - we need private healthcare. 3 - we need to secularize our society and stop the prejudice, racist practice of recognizing cultural creeds and racial groups.

The more poor a country, the more classist it becomes. Especially in a place like India where they formally give a cast name to your family.

The *reason* why the third world is the third world is becuase of those kind of cultural practices. Culture isn't food and costume. It's more of a way of thinking or behaviour. That is part of India's way of doing things. You organize, protest, buy-off, use religion, secure voting blocks. It's just coming here now. Those ways are proven destrucive and not the key to any countries success.

Oh that's an easy one. The Liberals have acheived their success by splitting up a country of people into minorities through the use of veroius 'tools', once our country become balkanized, they then pander to these minority groups for victory. A lot of this was unplanned, but the political success was evident. And that's why they've been succesful. Depeneding on how you look at it, the Liberals 'won' the last election. That's how I see it. Every balkanized area voted Liberal. The Americans are just beginning to figure this out also. That's why you see Mexican immigration continuing and all the benefits illegals recieve. The only way to stop this is to give the vote to the 'real contributors' of our country; the private tax payer. That most likely exclused the majority of people on this site and the very owners of this site. All these people are ultimately living off my tax dollars and don't contribute into our system.

Remember that Hospital in my Sig that the Sikh's tried to claim as 'there own'? Well, the first incident happened already. In a sureal trail of events here's what happened: -Sikh man donates to hopital during its building phase (this was an organzied effort in order for a race of people in Canada to lay claim to this hospital - admitted fact). -Man gets taken to the 'Guru Nanak Emergency' and gets the treatment that all Canadians get: a 12 hour wait. -Man dies later. They blame the long waiting times and lack of care. (again, common for ALL Canadians) -Now the son is claiming that he should have gotten special treatment becuase he denoted to the hospital. -Now, there is a Sikh group that have formed a lobby group "Bramptonians for Better Healthcare" who's aim is to ultimately make the hospital their own and give better treatement to those that 'donated' and give it more funding. "Hundreds of people are expected to rally in protest at the hospital on Sunday. Richards said he is "very concerned" about the rally, particularly since there are rumours that demonstrators "will fake heart attacks or strokes to create incidents. Again, I've researched this long ago. Look at their country of origins for their immigrants. And yes, the time they came and the language they speak certainly makes a difference in whether they will contribute to the country or not. ---- You can take some sort of historical, idealogical hippy view of immigration, or you can research the numbers, look at our welfare state, take a look at who pays for this, and then put the pieces together. But first you have to look at the benefit of living inside a particular borders. You have to ask the question "What is the goal of living in a country". My idea of that goal is to be rewarded for work and education, that reward is money. That moneys buys 'things'. Things like Brazil cherry hardwood flooring, 3000 sq ft homes, 24" LCD monitors, and Big SUV's, and having a strong welfare state to suppor those brothers and sisters of citizens we call Canadians or ourselves if we hit rough times. Also being able to work from home and enjoy the country and community of people you belong to. If you agree that the above is reason to live happy in a country, then you will be apposed to modern immigration becuase your slice of the pie decreases in order to give a portion of it to someone else. This was not the case some 30-40 years ago. If reason of living to you is to live in dirt and poverty and have nothing and take tranist and have your degree mean nothing and smile with glee everytime your fellow Canadian suffers like you, then you'll LOVE immigration. It will fulfill your self hatred for your fellow citizens and your country. Many, many people are of the latter mindset. Even right here on the forum. I don't enjoy seeing my fellow Canadians die waiting on hospital beds (as what happened recently at the new Brampton hospital.. the one in my sig), but many self haters really do enjoy hearing these stories.. becuase they are doing bad, they feel everyone should do bad and that's what makes them feel good inside. I want to see everyone do good and really enjoy life! This is NOT going to happen when you are saturating your labor maket and driving up hosuing prices. It's impossible for your life to get BETTER. For you to have MORE. You have more people entering a country then you do jobs and now you will have a serious problem. Yes that's factual and i've been saying that for a long time. The internet happened, people from all corners of the earth learned how to exploit our easy system, air fare got cheaper, the immigration consultants EXPLODED in the last 7-8 years. And now you are seing the product of all this. People just.. well.. wandering into Canada that we have to pay for and who do not ENHANCE our value of life. If you think I believe it when someone says "well life isn't all about a big home and nice car, it's about cultures of mosauqe cbc..." Nonsense. Do you think I really believe that the reason for life is looking at ethnic costumes and hearing foreign languages? No sorry. I'm not buying it. Umm.. No. *ALL* countries except UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada tightly control their citizenship. Yes. Hundreds of all the other countries. If you aren't working or visiting, WHY ON EARTH would they give you a citizenship - MAKES SENSE TO ME! That's because we let them. Go do further research on Australia and look at the country of origin for their immigrants. Then go look at their languages spoken. I repeat. No other country in the world is in the position that we are in and it's time that action be taken.. This is very worrying what's happening. All day on the radio the general mood, even from some o fthe CBC hosts were an 'uneasy' feeling. Poeple wouldn't mind immigrants.. Sorry.. Let me start over. Tax payers wouldn't mind immigrants coming to Canada if they were of a proveable financial benefit as they are in the US. Instead, statcan shows that too-large of a chunck of the modern immigrants are without work and in poverty. This destroys our welfare state and communist healthcare system. It's insane to have an immigration policy that allows this. That's why there are checks and balances before you enter a country - those checks and balances usually require A JOB .
