  1. Well already the CBC is trying to excuse this.. the morning host has a sickness in him. You shoudl ahve heard him trying to excuse this. It will become an Islamic issue. The victim will be the father, and the perpetrator will be you and I - 'the west'. We caused the man to do this to his daughter. It will become a political issue and he will get let go, no jail time. Remember how I said that I garunteed the Liberals would 'do something' about the Brampton hospital? Sure enough, 3000 social system leechers protested outside the hospital and suprise suprise, our Premier assigned a manager to the hospital to investigate what is going on. The Liberal party got involved. http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_17522.aspx
  2. UPDATE: GIRL HAS DIED. MORE DETAILS LATER http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_17567.aspx UPDATE: PHOTO OF GIRL RELEASED: http://www.citynews.ca/ http://www.thestar.com/News/article/284350 - new pic "She wanted to be more Western." This is making news all over here this morning. Still breaking news. -Immigrants came from Pakistan a year ago. -Father is 57 years old (why is he here??) -Daughter was refusing to wear hijab. -Father strangled daughter to near death and is now at Sick Kids Hospital in grave condition. Anyone want to tally up what this is costing the tax payer? I know what I just said is mean and insensitive, but the only way to have avoided all this from hapenning is to stop families from wandering into Canada who are of no benefit to us, and our economy. I'm sorry this happened, but these families shouldn't be coming here like this. This paired with the taser incident speaks volumes of the quality of people that are coming to Canada. You can spew idealisms, but this has got to stop. Something needs to be done now.
  3. Extremely rare and the average police officer will not be whitness to this. Police will not be whitness to this. The very, very odd police chase to catch the robbers happens maybe.. oh i don't know.. twice a year in Toronto and makes the news? Look at how your grasping at straws. Yes someone has to file the papers at the police station AFTER it happens. , That's a legal matter.. although the office might be needed to arrest someone. , Now finally this is where most of the action is. Police get called, crazy husband is drunk and yelling. The man of the household gets arrested regardless. And the cop might have to take him down if he doesn't cooperate. Not really. The most action they see are civil disputes. Go speak to a cop. Cops are around AFTER offenses happen. They don't actively 'protect you'. What stops many from crime is the knowledge of what will happen to them if they get caught by the court system. Not the actual police. The police are around mainly to give law abiding citizens a hard time via traffic regulations and offences. I will always stand by those statements. It's called forceful removal. It involves putting on the rubber gloves and arresting them if they don't move on. Our welfare system will not issue these people cheques becuase we have too much money being tied up in social workers and rules and gov't pork. They would be around to response to serious crime, not going after law abiding citizens communitng to work. The police will certainly come and shake you down for money if they know you have it. And who was around to protect us? That's right. No one. Not your police, not your air force, not your gov't beuacracy. The ONLY thing the US could have done to protect themselves is the ONE thing that actually works - stop letting the 3 worlders from Islamic terrorist hosting nations into their country. But you can't do that. You'll be labelled a bigot and racist. Well, 9-11 was the price paid for these illogical policies. Your missing the point. The police didn't save anyone. They were there AFTER the fact. Law enforcement doesn't mean cops sitting around doing nothing all day and harassing/entrapping law abiding citizens. They need to be cut to 1/4 of the size. Again, very, very rare that they catch people doing this. When they do get caught driving like these, they always end up driving again anyway. Some groups of people will break laws, others will not. Most are somewhere in the middle. What deters people from breaking laws is the 0 tollerence, tough punishments that you will get if you break the law. Just look at japan. The police have very little to do with this.

  5. Well I had to buy a house before I was ready or I wouild not be able to afford it. My new co-worker right here says she can no longer afford to buy a home becuase she waited to long. My old co-worker just got married in the summer and simply cannot afford to buy a home. If these people did it three years back they might have had a chance.
  6. The police and soldiers have not protected you all these years. Why? Becuase no one has been after you all these years. That's the movies and tv talking. Not the reality of our civilized society. People aren't out to get you. Other countries aren't out to get us. Now someone MIGHT want to be out to get you, but the police wont be notified about this and will only be there after it happens. To be frank, the police are the ones out to get you when you are going with the flow of traffic and all of a sudden your getting pulled over and handed a ticket. Think about it.
  7. Actually someone else said that and I was suggesting that if we don't need it, then why keep funding it? Having worked with the air force, I can say it's 90% make work projects that go no where. I agree we need hellicopters and fighter jets with satellite guided missles would be cool also. But that's NOT where the money is being spent. It's being spent on peoples paychecks who do nothing. Let's just be honest. It's not knock on the military. Don't you see though? Thats' exactly why you give it out. Just give it out and cut out the administration. Solves the homeless problem, and secures the poor into their own niche. I'm actually for enhancing our welfare system and giving out more welfare. Once you cut away the administration and other needless gov't services, giving someone $600 a month is chicken feed. It's nothing.. and it benefits us so much. If you want to live in a socialist system, you have to pay off the people who don't want to work. How do you think Montreal does so well with their Hatian community? Everyone there is collecting a huge cheque and those dudes spend it all on their designer clothes and shoes and cruise the mall all day. You cut them off, now you have Toronto part 2. There's no point chasing down people who don't want to work. Just pay not to cause trouble and loiter out on the street. Again, the police should be fighting crime and removing the homeless. Not entrapping law abiding citizens and handing out tickets all day in a fundraising effort for out gov't.
  8. I didn't say anything about volunteers, but every study shows that when a municipatily outsourced its ambulance service, the quality of service increased. City's in the US had to start to outsource becuase the in the Late 80's the ambulance unions started to get too big, and too lazy, and too expensive (our police, RCMP, etc). Ambulances in many city centers were taking over an hour to arrive. They outsourced these services as well as 911 becuase they were almost forced to. There are no longer problems. The police mainly give out tickets with the odd 'action' involved. The police rarely see that much action becuase of how heavily staffed they are. This isn't the tv and movies. Cops are not out fighting cimes and removing homeless. Cops are part of a union, are now over paid with benefits that the average worker would only dream of, and are way, way overstaffed. I never said we shouldn't protect our air space, I'm just saying that 90% of our airforce is a gov't union, political organization who do nothing all day and do not benefit Canadians. They are on white collar welfare. That's all it is. It's UNREAL how large it is. You'd have to look at the org chart to appreciate it. It's so large and complicated it needs to printed out on a large format plotter. I'd rather chance the hijacking (which the air force can do nothing about) then have to fund the Canadian air force that is more or less useless at home and internationally. Don't think I dont see through the Canadian military and their games. Good then they should be outsourced and work at the police station or hispitals. If you believe those rankings about best medical care and best cities to live then you are on another planet. It's natural you support the gov't power structure. Becuase you are also part of the problem, not the solution. We can't keep paying for all this. We can't continue to have job creation numbers stating 'job gains' in the 'public sector'. That just makes us more poor as a country.
  9. 50% becuase 50% are doing jack all day and far, far over paid. The gangs is an immigration and justice system issue, not a policing issue.
  10. Yes it's supply and deman. As I said.
  11. -Fire department should be contracted out. In Toronto firefighters are making $73,000 average and basically, well... do nothing all day. -Police Service. In a gov't union. Get 10% pay raises a year, over 100 street police officers making +$100,000 a year. Don't have anything better to do then sitting around and giving tickets. Could use a 50% cut in funding. That includes their paychecks and staffing. Lets let officers fight crime (rare) rather then 'hanging out' all day and giving out tickets. -Military - We need 50% cut in spending. As you said, if we don't need an air farce, why are we funding one? You have no idea how huge that airforce division was. I was just in 1 faction, in 1 subdivision. It spreads all over Canada. Every city, even small towns. If you saw the org charge you woudldn't be able to understand it becuase it was so large. But when is the latst time we bought fighter jets with satellite guided missles? Yes. Just as I thought. -Social services - Give welfare to whoever wants it no questions asked. If you are caught cheating, you will get an automatic 10 years in jail. No more public housing, no more social workers, no more administration, just a machine printing checks to who want them with the signed understanding that you will go to jail if you are caught cheating. Get the homeless of the street, and more importantly, get's rid of a huge gov't administration. Any needed admistration will get contracted out to the lowest bidder. We don't need to question people and create administration. We don't need only 8% of the funding of welfare to go to the recipient anymore. And we certainly don't need people on welfare setting up in public housing for 20 years that we have to subsidize. Some in Toronto now worth $600,000 becuase the units are in such desiriable locations. Medicare - fully privatized, no gov't built and managed hosptials. No Health Canada. Much like the US. I'm not for letting people die on the street. But the gov't will send a clean cheque to the private hosptial for coverage if someone has HMO. That amount will be VERY low. Only a few hosptials will be sanctioned as an HMO. The rest will be totall private and my employer can pay for that. If not, then I can use HMO (which I wont want to do so i'll look for an employer that wil give me a plan). And of course there is the elimination of the CRA replaced with a flat tax so there is no additional administration. Just get rid of tax returns all together. NO ADMINISTRATION. NO GOV'T UNIONS. All these employees that are needed will be contracted out to the lowest bidder and garuntee a level of service.
  12. To paraphrase in a nutshell the problem with Canada (and increasingly the US), I believe what is cuasing us to tank is simply the 'sponsorship of other people'. It doesn't get more simple than that. I have to sponsor the operators of this very website. That's how out of control things are.
  13. That is false. The world doesn't set local real estate values. Supply and demand does.
  14. No. But everything that goes on in there is a makework project. I worked under an airforce division. Just 1 of the MANY. The whole building is makework projects. The military power structure is simply huge. It's massive. All gov't employees. No actual fighting. The money spent and banquetts, and flights to all over Canada are something to behold. There was always an event. It's truly the most pampered, spoiled, gov't building i've ever been in. Although the dept of Agriculture was simply amazing. Such beutiful grounds. Better then any private company in Canada could even come close to offering. But it's this sponsorship of other people that are bankrupting Canada.
  15. How about we all just work for the gov't. It's the same thing right? The gov't can take over all the companies and we can all just be civil servants. That's the logic you are using.
  16. Are you trying to imply that all of the military are in the dessert storm in firefights? That is simply not true. The majority of the money sent to the military goes into make work projects and nothing really of benefit to Canada. How often to you hear of Canada spending the money on something tangeible like fighter jets? Thought so.
  17. The chance of dying in the military is extremely, EXTREMELY small and you know it. I don't hate the troops, but it is a gov't union of people in which political parties will pander to them to get votes. Much like the RCMP, Police, and other gov't insitutions. For every troop at war in real danger, there are 10,000 support staff and other civil servants doing nothing living off my tax dollars who really don't serve a role in anything usefull. I've whitnessed it first hand.
  18. No you don't work for the Canadian Forces, you work for me the person who funds your paycheck. That isn't idiotic faint logic, that is the reality of the situation. I view the military as gov't workers only becuase I worked at DND in ottawa and I know what goes on there. You guys are very pampered, spoiled civil servants for life that I have to pay for. My money supports you till your grave. The military is the only right wing union that the gov't can pander to. Both here and in the US.
  19. 2 falsehoods in your post. While it is refreshing that someone did enough research to realize how few 'skilled class' immigrants we really let in anually, you are still incorrect on certain things. Firstly, we let in more legal immigrants per captia than the US. Second, the lottery is NOT how the US lets in it's immigrants. There is a lottery yes, but it's not the sole way they let in their immigrants. Also if you immigrate to the US, you are not eligiable for HMO's and other various social programs.
  20. See I act like a sane person. The house is for kids, dogs, our family, and neigbourhood. It's a long term investment until i'm retired. The house was purchsed with private money from the private sector. the tax payers had nothing to do with this home purchase and they did not fund it so I have no quilt buying it. It's not meant to be used as an apt. complex. It's not to be used for 2 families. Tax payers aren't supporting my mortgage. It's meant to support the lifestyle of a Canadian family. Now guyser. Where do you work? Are the tax payers funding your pay check and mortgage? Yes? Do you own a home? No? Did you ever think that the reason that maybe you don't own is because the house prices have been un naturally infalted by needless immigration? And yes, I do expect to take atleast a 100k hit on the home if Harper does something about immigration. And I am willing to take this market correction for the good of the country and the younger Canadians trying to make their way up in the world. Cause right now, shoe-box Condos are starting at $240.
  21. All those returned glass bottles will cuase carbon emisions from all the trucks going back and forth. And then I have to drive back to the store to return the bottles creating more carbon emissions. My footprint! oh my! The gov't should not be involved any more than they are in anything. That's the last thing we need.
  22. To be honest I bought a house becuase I was FORCED to. The immigration was so out of control that I would not have been able to buy the same home if i waited till now. I plan on having kids soon and a dog and trying to live the 'Canadian' dream. The little of what's left. I'm not buying a house so all my extended relatives can stay over and it's not meant to be an immigration house. (the old home owners were a Palistinian family with 10 children... and two wives it seems). Everyone in the house was collecting cheques. The houses are NOT meant to be lived in like this. The neighbourhood is not meant for people like this. Not one person worked in that house. I don't care if there was a degree up on the wall from the US. No one was working.
  23. Those aren't the concners despite how it would make a good tv show or movie. There is a net drain on the livelyhood and lifestyle of Canadians when people move here and do not pay into our system. Not only do we have to cover the non-contributors, we also have to fund their children growing up and finally getting out working with a 1 in 4 chance they will work for the gov't which means there was never a net benefit at all. Just a population increase at the expense of a Canadian. I know a a guy. He's an immigrant and retired now. He came to Quebec in 1968. At the time there were bulletins posted that Canada needed teachers. He said that quebec had a need for teachers. He was from India and then went to africa to teach with some fellow indians. At 24 years old or so he came to Canada and became a teacher. Tax payers of Canada paid his paycheck. End of story. His life is no longer a benefit to Canada in this sad tale. He got an arranged marriage to a wife in india and the wife came and never worked. - tax payers expense. They had 2 kids. - tax payers expense. They bought a house for like $40k which drove up house prices due to the un-natural economic affect of the 'REASON' for him buying the house. An 'inflated' affect which is unnatural. - costing all Canadians more money to buy a home becuase he just drove up the market price un-naturally. Wife collected supplement cheques for the 2 kids - tax payers expense. One of the kids got sick and had to go to many hospital visist growing up. Has asthma, etc. - huge expense to the tax payer. By this time it was in the 1970's. He took many night courses at school - tax payers expense. He was a member of a quebec south Asian organization and was vice president. They got $300,000 a year from the Quebec gov't in the 1980's. - tax payers expense. He stayed a teacher over many years at a very, very high cost to the tax payers. He then got offered early retirement at like 50 years old because there were too many teachers. He took it. - tax payers expese. He has full benefits, pension, rrsp's, and easy life - tax payers expense. Some years back he bought a new home and which again drove up prices - Canadians expense. Both the mother and father have had many surgeries. One surgery as little as 5 weeks ago - tax payers expense. Both parents are on medication and pharmecuticals - tax payers expense. The father started a non-profit to help kids in his home town (that he left when he was 18!) and tried to get grant money - almost a tax payers expense. Now the parents are living the Canadian dream. A life of ease. A nice life. a life of never having to work hard or suffer.. a life where you are served with a silver plate. And August1991 had to pay for it. We all had to pay for it. This made the life for the generation after him HARDER. All at YOUR expense. The Canadian tax payer. This did not benefit Canada. This made life worse for Canada. It COST Canadians. It ate away at the social system and slowely decayd it. It made homes more expensive for people to purchase. It did nothing to benefit us. His story happened millions of times over. The only way to ensure pesonal lifestyle and well-being for our country is to not let people in unless they are paying taxes when they arrive through the private sector with rare exceptions. This is how it's done in the US and almost every other country in the world. Why? Becuase it's simply illogical to let people wander into a socialist country with no job prospects. It's simply illogical. Let employers sponsor in people if they are REALLY needed. But the open flood has got to stop becuase it's at the point now where couples making $50k each can only afford to buy a condo and nothing more. No wonder they don't have kids. How is everyone supposed to make $75k per household gross and then buy a $500,000 starter home and have a family. It's just not possible. You are sharing your Canadian piece of the pie with everyone around the world. If we have this magic job boom (still yet to happen), then sponsor in guest workers. If not, then no one should be coming. It's time to close the doors on open immigration.
  24. own.. i rented many years when i was not financially ready to buy. like what normal people are supposed to do.
