  1. Did you notice these baby names our dear fuzzy baby? You think it's a coincidence? Hardly. The point here is to turn the conversation from adult sound topics like: the qualities, principles and responsibilities of authority in democracy to baby talk of the kind "isn't he so adorable fuzzy, boo bad bad...". The point is, dumbing the conversation down, and us with it; making us see no difference between the reality and fairy tales: that's the only way it could work for the lying bunch. But we have the eyes, and brains. We can see and understand things, what reality hides behind open lies and baby games. We know everything.
  2. And so, maga is preparing a replay of Jan 6 if the things won't go their way. Nothing learned, and not even a glimpse of a chance of learning. Oh well. But we, we don't need to guess anything here nor claim ignorance or naivete it's all in the memory and right before our eyes. We know it all, no way around it.
  3. There's more to it though: not just the questions, the choice. If we come to believe that freedoms, dignity can be taken for granted, that they will stay with us whatever we do or not, we are fools, not even naive and lazy, just fools, thoughtless and careless. We know, from the records and memory that this choice has to be made, over and again, whenever the Time brings it up and there are no ways to bypass it, hand over, pass on to someone or somewhere. And so the moment we stop thinking and taking responsibility for our choices, it's back to the entropy and it will catch up as surely as the coming day. No surprises or mysteries, here. We chose based on who we are today, and it makes us who we will be tomorrow. No ways around it. No promises, from any lips or cheeks. So, good that we knew.
  4. Every new cohort needs to be remained, explained and when necessary, taught, painstakingly and carefully that gagabucks, the number of zeroes in the account do not amount to an automatic privilege to rule the world. It just couldn't settle in any other way, as it seems. "Federal law makes it a crime for anyone who “pays or offers to pay or accepts payment either for registration to vote or for voting.” It’s punishable by up to five years in prison." And if we fail, in that? Is it hard to guess the next phase? Wrap me a couple of congressfolk and a judge on the side. Keep the change. Where's a mystery here? Good that we knew.
  5. Well if for you the reality, memory and principles are "daydream unicorns" that would be a choice. Your choice, free and voluntary. Nobody made you choose that, and that way. Makes sense to know and remember because our choices define who we are and will be. Obvious, no?
  6. Many reasons. Memory. Reality. Truth. Objectivity. Principles. They exist for a reason. Many know that. It's about way more than some virtual games.
  7. Well looks like you can't admit the reality or tell the difference between it and the lies. So what's left is to repeat the lying mantra endlessly - in the hope of what? It won't make any difference to the reality and you already handed in and signed off your brain. Like, why bother? Beats me.
  8. If we stay on the side of sanity - and this is my choice, you have your own, a sane person has to admit: one cannot, being sane and honest, engineer, instill a debilitating weakness and then turn around and blame others for its consequences. Tedious, shaky and wavering trust in Afghan government took decades to build - literally. Trump's agreement pulled the rug right from under it - deflated it right to 0%, instantly, the same day. While the meetings were happening, the officials and associates began making deals with the new regime. There were no miracles in the universe that could restore trust in the government in a snap of the fingers. Evaporated. Gone. The take: you are repeating dumb lies; or lying, dumbly and obviously at that. This is your chance to get it. Second, after the fallout of Jan. 6 - remember how it came to happen, just in case? counted months remained for planning and executing the withdrawal. For the entire coalition and while holding Taliban back. It could have been an unmanageable catastrophe, Dunkirk of this century. And there's one individual who is responsible for that. Third, right after the withdrawal, Vlad began building up the army for the invasion of Ukraine. This is a direct causal chain, no time in between and no loose links. One person is responsible for the effect. He can pump up cheeks now and spew countless lies but the reality tells it very clearly: he helped dictatorial forces in a real and material way and contributed to Vlad's perception of the weakness of the West. And even that is not the end of the story: after the invasion was unleashed, he called Vlad "genius" and "savvy". That's what the objective reality and sanity tell us. These are the facts. Now to stay on the objective side, one must admit that the project itself was misguided and quite possibly lost. Something had to be done about it. But not in a way of a careless liar full of, and interested only in himself prepared to ruin anything and all to advance his personal goals and agendas. And that is, mind you, if he is not in fact, working for the enemy - we don't know that yet, but there are some troublesome facts and pointers.
  9. Everyone knows what would happen when he looses: in the first month, three, six and so on. No need to guess anything because we have memory and the brains. Now the only decision one has to make is: do they want it to become the new normal, of the proud U.S. democracy? Indefinitely and for the posterity. A simple question.
  10. Note that this was an avid proponent of "small government" and a knight against "red tape". How "small"? Now the government will examine bike lanes in every village (in the thousands) having how much h*cking clue about what it's like there? Right. That's what commies were famous for. Look, a paradox!? Maybe not: just bullsh*t lying in your face, politics of division and zero sum game. Whatever flies and no shame. Surely, we'll see more of it with each and every cycle. Why wouldn't we?
  11. No: it's an erosion, decay a slow but certain degradation. At the outset the elites perhaps were guided by some standards and principles. There's one problem though: there's no mechanism to monitor them, then maintain. So they degrade. Next the elites and the services they run pay lip service, tribute to the principles and standards, like they still exist but not here, somewhere in another better one or ideal world. Sounds familiar? And now, we're zooming in, fast on the realization that really there are no bounds except as formally set in the book (it reads, to remind: "nothing, zero, just none") and so anything goes to get to the chair. The entropy. It just cannot be beat with any great words.
  12. Ridiculous as it stands in this century among advanced first world economies (wait - is it about us, still?) it's only another obvious illustration of the nature of the binary "same ones at the trough" pseudo-politics: anything, any matter can be instantly raised as a (dumb) battle cry, the fake issue of contention, no matter how stupid, useless or irrelevant ideological cause only to make a splash, draw attention during the election season, and then back to business as usual: ruling with no accountability, oversight or even basic transparency. This system will drain the democracy dry and run it into the ground. How can there be any doubts still, of that?
  13. The story always unfolds the same way, same pattern: I got this bigger club; I got to rule my small tribe and make them obey me and worship me. Why couldn't I have more? Why shouldn't I have it all? Look I made this ga-bazzillion megabuck, more than I can eat, drink and sh*t, for eternity. All through my ingenuity and smarts. But still I can't have it all! Those little people, they are everywhere! Rules, regulations. Laws, for h*ck's sake. Pesky workers again want to unionize shouldn't I decide what they and anyone gets, in my supreme wisdom? Vlad and Kim, respected associates "very honorable persons" some mistakenly or even vilefully calling "totalitarian dictators" are clearly in the need of a respectful, friendly dialogue to make their just claims (on their neighbors property, views, choices and freedoms) heard - and that's fully understandable isn't it, just hear me. And for the greater good too - to avoid what was that, and in the meantime, let my businesses turn more healthy profits. Factories run on slave labor in the places of concentration camps. The story is always the same: the hot p*ss of quick, seemingly unlimited power shoots straight into the brain and drowns in it all reason and perception of the reality itself. It played out countless times, in history. Those (few) who could resist it became great philanthropists. So what will it be this time around? Nothing is ever guaranteed, in history. And the choice is ours.
  14. I've no problems with freedom of speech and one has to stand to attempts to impose ideological agendas from anyone and for any even most enlightened reason. But the number of coincidences and correlations of loudmouth beacons of (supposedly) truth and the ugliest totalitarian thug regimes on the planet is 1) noticeable and 2) alarming. One has to understand that the difference between Trudeau and someone like Kim or Vlad, the thugs, is astronomical. There's no chance in a universe that I'd take a word of anyone who criticized Trudeau while kissing the bum of Vlad or Kim, etc. Brain, reason and common sense, well they exist for a reason.
  15. Vlad got really scared because this was a new thing, it was spreading silently and deadly and his sucky clueless Sussia had no clue what to do about it. Now where would he turn to, to who - in such a pickle? Our eyes and the brain: they exist for a reason. We knew everything.
  16. What an !!diot, is it even possible? No it can't be that simple: the purpose here is nothing less than to erase the difference between the fact, truth, reality - and a word, fantasy, lie. Goebbelsian - that's before Orwell. Orwellian. Now, Trumpian. Facts: no lie will change them Norway, United States, Canada: on Western and Eastern borders of USSR/Russia since NATO was established, 1949. Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland: from early 2000x. Finland: 2023. There are no and can be no excuses for these crimes. Finding valid causes for a violent psycho's crimes means siding with him. Everyone who's saying this or repeating it thoughtlessly is siding with a brutal and violent psycho, a full equivalent of Hitler in our time. Our reason, our conscience and our integrity tell us that. And they exist for a reason.
  17. There's nothing new that we haven't heard before: Hitler wants to rearm? We "predict" that he wouldn't be happy if we objected so let him do what he likes. He wants some land in another country? We "predict" that giving him it will bring us peace. Oops he wants more, let's predict that he would start a war so let's give him... ... oops!!! There's nothing here that we didn't know. Memory, brain and sanity exist for a reason. And there's no ways around it.
  18. What we see here is a typical reaction of a convert of a psychotic cult when faced with the reality. He'll do the utmost, almost the impossible but to admit it. Fact: war in Ukraine continues since 2014 when Russia occupied then "annexed" large Ukrainian territory. In four years in the office Trump did very little to stop it and restore the international order. Fact: he contributed, factually and materially, to creating the perception of weakening West. He engineered the precipitous and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, there was no way to restore confidence in the Afghan state after he signed the withdrawal agreement with the Taliban. As a result by end of 2021 Putin was setting ultimatums to NATO. Fact: he repeatedly blamed others, not Putin himself, for Putin's criminal aggression in a blatant and brazen violation of American tradition of unity in the face of a threat. Fact: his closest associates indicated that his touted plan is little more than giving the criminal thug all or almost, what he wants. Inviting him with other thugs to keep coming for more. There's no denying the facts. And the issue is obvious: that individual has no values or principles. He would make allegiances with anything if it could help him get closer to the power. All of this is in plain sight. Nothing here we couldn't see or know.
  19. Stupidly naive. No, have to be both: why else would one want to sign their brain off, all of it and for free?
  20. Putin is a pathological liar second maybe only to we know who but it's close; a war criminal and terrorist; now under international warrant. Now watch who wants to take his word for a holy prophesy. It tells you everything there's to see and know. Your brain knows it. Sanity exists for a reason.
  21. It was in plain sight from his first term. The admiration: for a brutal murderous totalitarian thug, now war criminal under international warrant appears to be both boundless and bottomless. Now what?
  22. That's quite a bit of information there. Are you implying that forestry management and other mitigation alone can meaningfully manage the effects of the climate change, reliably and in most cases? There's nothing wrong with intelligent mitigation, but in the world of fairy tale politics just watch for politicians who will "come up" with and begin peddling the idea that it's all what's needed and it's not to us really anyways. And so, from mitigation to square one?
  23. I guess. Nothing is forgotten really, under this sun.
  24. One of these days I came across a quote from someone in the 70th of the last century aptly observing that the true purpose of blatant, in-your-face lying is not so much to make people believe the obvious lie but rather to erase the difference between the lie and the reality, normalize it. In such an orwellian-trumpian world, there would be no facts, no memories, principles or guidelines all and anything can be made up on a whim or erased, instantly. It's more subtle than just pathological lying. And more dangerous.
