Installing bizarre visions in place of the reality isn't how most sane people understand the word. Reason, facts, truth. Responsibility. They exist. They mean something. And they exist for a reason.
-
Brainless mob throws up random junk only muddy the air so everything becomes the same, no difference. To them. But we know what experiments and alternatives to sanity can be and lead to. Thinking and responsibility, no cannot be avoided.
-
The question is very clear and it cannot be avoided: should we stay sane? What would be the point of any "policy" declared and peddled by a pathological, stamped all over liar? Will you give a penny to a trader who lied to you previously countless times? See? Only about sanity.

"Tough on Vlad"? Our eyes tell a different story. In February 2018 in Syria, under general command of the US Commander in Chief Gen. Mattis, U.S. marines inflicted a devastating defeat on advancing Russia mercenary troops, with an overwhelming superiority in troops and military equipment including tanks. (battle of Khasham). By the later part of the year, Trump's plans on withdrawal from north-eastern Syria became known effectively ceding the control of the previously stabilized part to Syrian dictator Asad, a close ally of who? Iran and Russia, just in case. These plans caused Gen. Mattis's resignation. "On December 20, 2018, after failing to convince Trump to reconsider his decision to withdraw all American troops from Syria, Mattis announced his resignation effective the end of February 2019; after Mattis's resignation generated significant media coverage, Trump abruptly accelerated Mattis's departure date to January" Do go ahead and find out more details. All information is in the public domain. The result: an initial astounding success turned into two gain points for the dictators: strengthening of the position in the region; and getting rid of a competent and respected military leader in the US. Gained who? "Toughness", where? We will continue to review the lies of fake and false "toughness" that never left any traces in this reality. Should we trust our eyes, or lies in the ears? We'll have to pick one. Thinking cannot be avoided in these cases.

The choice that is facing us isn't that complicated: we have to decide, do we need to stay on the sane side. The message of those inviting us go dancing with torches in the dark isn't any secret: we'll have to abandon sanity. Policies, promises in this setting and frame it's beyond the point: having let go of sanity itself, what could be the meaning of policies? A call, referendum on sanity. Simple, really. No, we shouldn't make it more complicated than it's set before us. It didn't have to be this way if the choice was between sane options. And it isn't the case at this time. So, no need for confusion: we know everything.

Note by the way how the poster is trying to obfuscate the question into a vaguely general frame, lefties-right while very clearly, it's about: can someone who's shown themselves: a bombastic pathological liar; a convicted felon, by a jury of citizens; attempting to subvert a democratic election; has been, persistently and stubbornly, smooching and rubbing with the worst dictator scum of the planet be a leader in a modern democracy? The question is quite simple, really. And why are they trying so hard to obfuscate it? Is it because of the directive to "not mention him and focus on general, vague and abstract topics?" Or only a coincidence?
-
So you used your sentiment, an unjustified and unproven assumption as the basis to accept all of the above, I'll repeat: bombastic pathological lying; subverting democratic elections; smooching and rubbing with the worst dictator scum of the planet? OK, you just proved my point because this is exactly what "inability to think and take responsibility" means. QED. Objective and factual.

There's a group that is rambling in its echo chamber that long forgot why they are even there, in it, what was the cause and the point. Ask them: they have no, and couldn't even form a rational answer. Do try. But we know that ignorance, dumbness, stupidity is not a winning strategy in life. It makes no adjustments and accepts no excuses for it. This time is for thought, memory and responsibility.

So Vlad got scared of this new thingy that his crappy country build on sh*t, saliva and rusty cold-war era metal scraps with a generous dollop of brutality and corruption had no real answers to (and how could he not know it?) and reached out to his "very good relationship" buddy who just couldn't say no to him. The question is: why? Why did he have to oblige and couldn't say no to Vlad? Is it basic humanity, to bloodthirsty thugs (Georgia, Syria, Ukraine, Africa)? What did he America get for it, when those were in short supply for Americans? Or they (thugs) have something in his balls? At this time, one cannot reasonably pretend that it's only coincidences: just too many and too often. Something is going with Vlad - to remind, a strategic adversary of America, who made commitment to bring down NATO. And it all is right before our eyes. Who could pretend that we didn't know?
-
Those who think and still can, cannot avoid these questions: Could it become the new normal, and standard of America? Should we allow it to? Do we still need the democracy, or ready to let it go and head out into the wild? All there's to know is before our eyes, and there's no office for complaints and excuses. Our choices determine our future. There are no tickets, excuses or ways around this simple truth.

60 Minutes Did Not Go Well For Kamala

So hard to face oneself in the mirror. For some of us that is. Don't look any further: cult thinking will do that to your brain, and in no time. -

Note how carefully he sidesteps the point in question: do we adore, then worship Kim and Vlad, the thugs? Does it have to be so hard, really? Look no farther than here and understand: playing with the cult will affect your brain. The damage can be permanent. Sure, we knew. -

Just think about it. It can be easier than you came to convince yourself. And then, nothing to be ashamed of, just bliss and nirvana of unrestrained admiration. Worth a try, no? -

So want to hide your funny fetishes behind a token, a label? Only to avoid having to think about it and maybe even admit? Ohoh... a tough case. Yet everyone or almost can do it. Let it go, say it. Come out. We love and admire our beloved fetish-Idols: Kim, Vlad and we all know who. Easy. There's nothing to be shy about, or is it? You can do it, we believe in you. -
This is not partisan. At this point it has nothing to do with any one party, ideological or any other stripe. This is about the right, the principles, the integrity, dignity and decency. Let's not forget that. This is a time of uncertainty and many feel the challenge on their skin. Some may forgot to distinguish between the sentiment of the moment and the stakes and responsibility for an important decision. At the right time, many will come to realize it and will make the right choice. Let's not get distracted by the numbers that fluctuate daily. They reflect the sentiment of the moment; this is important but we have to believe that there's more to what America stood and stands for. One needs to keep talking to the people with honesty, openness and responsibility. To come up with and offer real working solutions in place of bombastic lies. That we can do and have to keep doing. And the rest is out of our hands. Glimpsing the future is for the prophets, commonly false ones. But we should focus on the work at hand and make our absolute best of it.
-
But do note, isn't that what Trampist cult converts are trying to imply about Russia's aggression, word to word like an echo? I'm afraid it doesn't look partisan or ideological anymore, rather some kind of deep disintegration of the most basic foundations and principles, honesty, law, justice. And at a very dangerous time in history too.

In wet dreams? Why wouldn't you admit it: you folks are just thug admirers, little if anything more than that. You see a big nasty thug with biceps and something goes soft in you. You watch them step on a hatchling or a chipmunk and it just unwinds in you, from inside out, can't say an (intelligible) word. Kim, Vlad, Xi, ayatollas and why not only buried deep inside. The more brutal, the softer. C'mon, just let it out, relieve yourself. No need to pretend anymore, stressing. -
By making them accountable. By not giving them unlimited carte-blanche for power. By limiting their power. We have do that, or live with the status quo for as long as it lasts. Proportional representation is one way of advancing to that end. No: you don't have the monopoly on power for so many years. Yes, you have to keep the trust and keep delivering the results or you may and probably will loose it. Imagine people spending their entire careers in this kind of environment as opposed to: we won? Can do what we like. No? Just give it another term or at worst, two and we can do what we like. What "pharmacare"? Where, "dental coverage"? And the list goes on forever. And sure, citizens committee will determine the pay, fair and reasonable. It's done elsewhere in way more advanced democracies, what could be wrong with it?

He barely needs it. Has his orange crush of a lifetime and how could anyone think of anything else? Of course, not a huge chance of shared affection there but they can still salivate on Kim's smile or Vlad's biceps so not an entirely sad story.
