  1. Doesn't this one, today go a tad (quite a tad) further? Did they praise Hitler as "genius" and "savvy" back then? Did they run with and broadcast his "plans" as the solution for the problems of humanity? As said, playing with this thingy always costs, don't dream even for a second that this is "just another political theatrics". And always, it will try to push it, itself a bit further. To where, though? What would be the final destination?
  2. No honest, or anywhere objective answers: are you supporting and spreading the plans and agendas of an aggressive, totalitarian state that violated all norms and laws - repeatedly? Do you support your lying Idol who spits them out and around like a sh*t fan? Do you or do you not? Can you think and answer this much?
  3. Now, we can imagine it. In the election of 1940, one of the candidates openly runs on the platform of finding a common ground with Hitler and the Axis. Just give him what he wants; Poland, all of Europe, sure. Maybe a half of the Britain too, with a line somewhere by London. We will see what happens next. But now, I bring you the peace. What happens next, can we begin guessing? Divided Britain falls. Without massive American aid, Russia is driven into the frozen Siberia. Japan dominates China and Far East. Massive, unlimited supplies of resources and cannon fodder. Victories in Northern Africa, Sicily: didn't happen. No victories. Perhaps, the States held their own in the Pacific: perhaps. U.S. has no allies. Chose to forget, throw out the memorandums and obligations, like never happened. Next? There's a dominant force in the world now. And slowly, one by one, world begins to fall to it. Conventions? Rules? Which ones, why? We make all conventions and rules now. Here, let's vote. The darkness falls. Probably takes a while to digest the grabs. But then... where would the eyes turn, then? What is still standing, what was the word, "free"? Why should it be standing there, giving impossible hopes, disturbing the "peace"? Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska... Canada... where was the last stand? How did it go? Why prophesies? Who wants to be scared? It didn't happen back then, for a reason. We can know. We can remember. But the time holds no promises to anyone. False, lying promises and excuses had zero value to it. Good that we knew.
  4. Putin wants to get what he wants, West should go back to the 1991 line. Xi wants Vlad to get what he wants. And looks like now some would-be "Republicans" are happy to join the dictatorial bunch too. Just look at it. Just hear what they say. Is this still the same party, same principles and traditions? No way to glance by and ignore these questions. If Vlads and Xis end up ruling the future, there would be no excuses. Sure, we knew.
  5. Democracy is not a glossy paper in a frame. It's not a bottomless wishing well either. Keeping is takes vigilance, reason, courage and responsibility. These are unprecedented times. We have politicians, openly siding with dictatorial, totalitarian scum of the planet. The tide of lies is unprecedented in history, they want and try make the reality up on the fly. "Compromise with Vlad to avoid the war"? But two years back, he was making ultimatums to NATO, to the West, not Ukraine. "Leave it to me, withdraw", he said. That kind of "compromise"? It's a fact, it's written in history, documented evidence. But he's lying boldface, making the alternate reality on the fly. No need to scare anyone into anything. There's reason and the reality. This is the same question our ancestors faced and they knew what to do. If they have given in to the thugs, it would have been an entirely different world now. And if we forget that, what kind of promises could save us, from which lying throats, and mouths?
  6. People have believed loudmouth liars telling them fairy tales before. The result is known very well. Reason and responsibility: there are no replacements, in the sane universe.
  7. The cult with its Idol are cheering, openly, for the ugliest of the thugs on the planet. All for the hope to run away with some political crumbs. Astonishing and unprecedented, in America. Never happened before. But maybe, it had to be this way. Either we can learn, know and remember what shouldn't and cannot be played with. Or we cannot. Sure, it's important to know.
  8. Simply nuts. Clearly unfit to run any position of responsibility, a doughnut shop.
  9. So he already can't stop spilling blatant lies. "Biden and Kamala pulled us into this war" (Georgia)? United States is a guarantor of territorial integrity and security of Ukraine, after the country gave up the 3rd largest stockpile of nukes at the time. "Ukraine doesn't exist" (South Carolina)? This is a mouth spilling out not stop lies, a flood in hope to drain all reason and every one of the principles. Brain, who can say it's still there? Openly broadcasting the scripts of modern Hitler? Openly siding with him? The individual is completely devoid of reason and integrity. This is unprcedented in America, first ever. We couldn't claim that we didn't know.
  10. Vlad utters the n-word, and look who picks it up right off his tongue. The cult with its lying idol speaks from the book of the ugliest dictators of our time. Psychos: aggressive, totalitarian, despising any notion of law, freedom and democracy. Really: not a grain less. Boasts of their love letters. Proud of knowing them. Has it ever happened in the history of the nation, like ever? Anyone who cares about stripes and so on, with a grain of reason and honesty has to reflect and recall what the price and the consequences could be of playing with this kind of cults. History shows it very clearly. Absolutely nothing here we didn't know.
  11. That wasn't the chief reason though. He ran on it and he got a majority (I don't like "landslides" that are pretty meaningless in this kind of a system). Anyways, Justin wanted a different reform that would work into his (party's) pocket. And it's true that the duo twin had zero interest and even made some appeals. So the statement in the OP was quite accurate: not a chance of any meaningful change, in the status quo.
  12. The political system created in the 18th century and for it, runs on a borrowed time: for a while, already. There are no chances, or reasonable prospects for a renewal within it for one simple reason: it does not need it. Whatever happens in the country, it's perfectly fine as it is, no thanks. Talking: for decades, factually, does nothing to bring even minuscule change any closer. In this setting, the democracy will degrade, and decay. And there are no other logical and reasonable paths. So what is proposed is a new political party: the Political Reform party. It's main agenda and plan is the meaningful political change, as much of it as needed, no excuses or superficial causes. Plus competent, pragmatic management fully transparent and accountable to the citizens. It declares its goals outright and maintains them through several election cycles, till citizens could see that it's for real and grant it an opportunity to go ahead with the change. This option is real and very likely, the only one. The default duopoly has zero interest in any meaningful change. And there's no one else, discounting political costume shows. If we begin now, time can be used with good purpose.
  13. One cannot stay silent. History tells us all about it. It would consume all, and there would be no excuses.
  14. The coward won't stand to aggressive dictator thugs for one simple reason: he simply cannot; doesn't have it in him. He had the time and the opportunity. He ran and gave in every time: to Kim, to Asad, to Taliban and to Vlad. This is why his only option is parrot and push through Vlad's criminal plan accept and excuse unimaginable and unprecedented in the recent history crimes. And he isn't even hiding it: only a bit shy - or deceitful? to say it openly to the public. But we have seen it all. Nothing here we didn't know.
  15. "I know them". But of course he does. Sure, he knows that Vlad-the-thug would wipe his dirty a$$ with his handkerchief (if not the jacket) and he wouldn't as much as squeak. Four years of running away, smooching and cowering to thugs of the worst kind. No need to guess about the plan: we know and have seen it. We know everything.
  16. You can throw up all kind of angry words, but it is factual. He said so himself. He isn't interested in the debates, truth in general, law, justice, anything unless they work for him, can be spread on his sandwich. This is obvious and right in plain sight. What didn't we know here?
  17. Six letters explain it all: "c-o-w-a-r-d".
  18. Little stinky liar spinning non stop as a happy and energetic shit fan. Looks like someone has found their purpose in life. Deep in it and happy.
  19. "He knows" someone to fix things - instead of, and in place of the international law, justice, Charter of the United Nations itself. He thinks that he can fix those things; except one is a bigger and more ruthless thug he's afraid to look in the eye; and the other will never sell out his country and his people as he would do in a flash for a lollipop. Who talks this way? Who sells long-term interests and security of their people for a bit of jam on their sandwich? But this is how he thinks. This is who he is. No mistakes now. "The plan" is to suck up to and cower to the worst aggressive, totalitarian thugs on the planet. Does it speak like a responsible leader in a democracy? Or right from the vocabulary of the mob boss? We choose. Nothing here we didn't know.
  20. The justice system seems to be struggling with the notion of the universality of law. Have all the victims as one chose against pursuing charges? Or did they learn something from the police first? As said, without accountability and transparency, all that stuff about great traditions is no more than words, worthless verbal cr*p. And it's bound to happen, again and again until something changes.
  21. Exactly. And this proves that this is no coincidence: the system chooses to behave this way, despite all the great words and obvious duties and obligations and then, when it's way past the time of any meaningful action, finds itself excuses and reasons only, for the sheer reason: because it can. Because it was made and designed this way, pretty much from day one. This is simply unacceptable in this age and state of democracy. It just cannot go on this way, without a serious, real and material damage to it.
  22. As the scandal: multiple allegations of sexual misconduct and assaults against the Harrods late owner Al Fayed is unfolding, appalling facts are coming to the light, including the Crown Prosecution Service twice failing to prosecute the alleged crimes brought to its attention for "no realistic chance of conviction". One incident involved an underage victim in 2008. Not an unrelated story was developing earlier with the infamous now Canadian tycoon Nygard who felt invincible for decades, with justice obstructed and delayed for as long. This is unacceptable. A modern democratic society, if it remains and being maintained as such cannot tolerate such incidents. Where is the line between opaqueness, ineptitude and incompetence, and corruption, in essential public services? Does it exists? How can we know it, with confidence, in a system that is accountable to the citizens, and it's not a joke, only "at the time of election"? These scandals are bound to happen again and again, in a system that lacks transparency and accountability. Citizens own the democracy. They have the right to know at all times, and every time. Governments and administrations are accountable and responsible for every act and any time. The price of forgetting these truths can be high.
  23. Can't stay silent, when the insanity is trying to set in. Remember, it will take all. There would be no escapes or excuses. Nowhere even to send them. We knew everything.
  24. Well, it's not just me. It's the reality, facts. There's some attachment there. What sort? Why? Can anyone one in the right set of the mind and morality ignore it? Los Angeles Times: Trump talks tough on Russia now, but as president he bowed to Putin "The notion that candidate Trump would be tough on Putin in that moment is laughable. Trump had his chances, and we saw how weak he was." He had his time and his chances. Not that he didn't do enough: he cowered and ran away from any hostility with Vlad-the-thug. And that, by the way is exactly what cowards do. "Tough on Russia" not even a joke: plain, dumb and ridiculous lie.
  25. Short answer: no. Cowards don't do that. Just as he wouldn't step down, for the sake of the country and his party. Coward losers just don't do that. But of course, I can be proven wrong. Let's see it.
