No one cannot say it in a softer, healing manner. Because if and when we try to cuddle and normalize the insanity it only grows bolder and stronger. And these days, there's nothing abstract about that all in our plain, obvious view.

Another take from these election is that a huge part of mostly rural population just couldn't care about thinking and the reality. They are behaving like automatons, programmed to follow the script that no reality could sway. If J.D. were parachuted into their riding as Cons won't think for a second. Scary. This is what led maga to the power in the states.

Con crowd boos as Poilievre congratulates Carney. They are sick: brains, conscience, decency rotting alive in real time. How could one, in a sane state of mind and conscience see it any other way? Conservatives now are the Republicans yesterday. Rotting and decaying in our eyes.

Rigidity in Canadian politics is real but its cause is not any one party but grossly outdated incumbent nature of politics dating to the 19th century. It needs to be modernized and there's no time to waste. In that we can agree.

For now, the line of sanity and responsibility is being held. But we cannot relax because they will be back. Will Conservative movement reject this failing direction, how? It's only up to them to answer.

I wouldn't go past this. If you were interested in a reasonable, intelligent (and intelligible) discussion, it would have been stated very differently. You are very obviously, not. And that's representative and indicative of the problem. You already know the truth, all of and final of it and the only problem is what others don't see or wouldn't accept it. Because they cannot exist without you, your tacit and smug support; but you sure can, just find yourself another puddle of raging liquid mental sh*t to wade into. See?

Nothing of the kind. Rather, I'm describing a political and ideological entity based on objective and factually verifiable acts and statements of its members. Its leaders never distanced themselves and publicly denounced acts of rage and hatred. Then, on the individual level, one has to make the choice of either disengaging from it - that may include a publicly stated position or just staying away from anything related to it, ceasing participation and any support; or assuming a part of responsibility for every act that it inspires or directs and the consequences of it. What one cannot do in such situations is to pretend belief in some ideal, pure vision of the thing while silently condoning if not participating in what it does in the reality. This is not a choice that is valid logically and morally. If one isn't standing away from it, they will be sharing responsibility with it. This is how it worked and will be, always.

Looks like no one has seen our fuzzy dear Donnie, recently. What an amazing mystery.

Has anyone seen him, of late? Where did he abandon us for why, for what flaw and/or failure of ours? Isn't that such a sad story? Between "good" whatever interpretation and stupidly brainless lying can be enormous, astronomical distance. In this frame, just normal would do any time. You can always talk to an intelligent, educated and smart individual, with a real and factual track record of achievements. You can disagree much and still keep your dignity and respect for each other. What one cannot do is to talk, with any meaning or point to a maga-conservative rock (in fairness, some rocks seem to be smarter). It just has no point, zero informative value. "F@ck", "look at her child", "let's measure the color of her skin" - how and why would anyone want to talk to that? Sure there's a difference.

I'm seriously worried about the degradation of the formerly conservative movement down the same trajectory, with the same warning points as earlier the Republican party. In other encounters, on social media I see the same exact trend: an out of hand dismissal of any points that contradict the dogma, cursing, meaningless and pathetic personal attacks and I mean 100% without as much as an attempt to see past it. It has to mean something. An individual with a working objective mind understands that nothing, not an individual, not any entity and/or ideology can be correct and right always, 100% of the cases. Conservatives in Canada are being consumed by hateful maga mentality and are moving down the same cultist path.

Just look it's the final, rock bottom argument, "f-ck him". No explanations possible no reason added just pure bottom rage and hate. By late in their useless lives they mastered one word, finally. Look at them, don't turn away. Do you want to be like them? The word is: a mental block. You convince yourself that the reality doesn't exist. That you can just shrug it away with a mental whim. They tried it in America, sure. And no need to guess where it's gotten them. Do you want to be like them?

Rage pumping, vandalizing election signs, attempts at intimidation of voters - this seems all new normal and welcome in the new Conservative party. There's been no statements. Glaring, deafening silence. And next, they'll take it over well on the way already. One - two, no guessing needed. Maple maga is here and anyone with a bit of a functioning brain has to understand that the time to stand to it is: now. There's no place for maga in Canada. Laugh it out, ostracize it out and drive it out from our country.
