  1. In a moment let's just answer the question first: -> It was wrong for Carney: who else should it be wrong for? -> It was fine and OK for Carney: what was the st#pidest cat show about? Unless you're living in a three-dimensional logic world, this exhausts the logical possibilities in this one.
  2. No fk these are the superhuman kind, no less. Seriously, it's not there but they see it!
  3. Someone seems to be quite disappointed.. with the reality. Still more reason to remind that it's real, present and factual.
  4. April 12, 2025: exactly two weeks before the election. Calculated for a maximum impact. "Under Poilievre's leadership, we are confident that Canada can achieve a stronger, more resilient economy that benefits all Canadians." Except.. only because we have the eyes, working memory and the brain, Poilievre hasn't been in a real-life leadership position a single day in his entire two-decade long life on public paycheck. Remember in job posting those same leaders demanding years and decades of experience in this, that and a small zillion other things? Let it just stay here, in case someone wanted and was looking to forget it.
  5. What did the nutjob "state" in his nuthouse last time? Look who's interested. Just look: it means something.
  6. We remember the billionaire letter. We know exactly who it cheered for. It's the objective reality. Yes we saw it with our own eyes. And we have brains.
  7. Lying clowns will keep us for the dumbf*cks as they do. This is just a lying clown saying it. But we saw that billionaire letter, right? We saw it with our own eyes and it was a real, tangible fact. So who do you choose to believe, a lying clown waving a red rag? Or your own eyes and your brain? Remember, it's a choice, always. It took four billion years to give us those instruments. They have to be useful for something.
  8. I've no intent to duplicate threads and discussions but this is a specific and concrete angle that is absolutely worth discussing and right now. Because for the party at least it's the watershed moment, and the consequences can and will be monumental altering the life, the position and the nature itself. This is maga as it is and I'm quoting: "Poilievre had his chance and he blew it. Instead of attacking and mocking the media that despised him he went meek and mild on them. PP knew that the media hated him so why go easy on them. Trump called the American media a lying and fake media and the people liked that and ate that up. PP has his own self to blame. He was just to week and wimpy for me. Canada needed a strong like leader like Trump to help save Canada". The problem was he didn't attack enough, too little of a good thing. The problem was, he didn't embrace full-heartedly the idea that when reality tells you something you don't want to hear you should kick it away and do more of the same. It's not you, the reality is wrong, and the adversary then: the enemy. So that's maga and the Conservatives today have come to its threshold, and even started testing it, with a toe. Astounding vitriol from very near circles against provincial politicians even of the same ostensibly, stripe. They didn't fall in line, bend the knee and kiss the boot - how dared they! Maga. Yes, it's here. No denying it. Conservatives have weeks and months now to make this decision and choice. And it can very well be irreversible. Nothing to guess here.
  9. They forgot! Epstein is now a friend and ally all marching in the opposite direction!
  10. And here we go again. It was going so nicely till that point. Almost credible.
  11. No, the precedents existed for a while now, takes about a minute to find out. But remember who cried, whined and shouted about it? Oh tragedy... the crime! Any chance, before the total memory wipe?
  12. Nothing is forgotten, all is recorded in the 100%, perfect and absolute fail rate. Not one, single, by sheer dumb luck and/or miracle success. Wow. One can do that.
  13. That's just hot air. The record will stay unbeaten though for as long as records exist. The one, the final and ultimate.
  14. And "peace" in 24 hours. There won't be a better record of failure than this: it's mathematically impossible. Can't beat 100% pure, absolute and total failure.
  15. What you're saying if my interpretation is correct, is Carney, an amateur in federal politics managed to establish and then, support and defend a more credible position in response to Trump's threat than Poilievre, a career politician. And then using "spectre" as opposed to clear and present threat confirmed by multiple facts that many Canadians can see and experience directly, what is it, naivete? lighthearted optimism (see trying my best to stay on the good, positive sunny and happy side of things)? So can't avoid asking again, what is it, with Conservatives (now) and the objective reality, truth?
  16. It's boldface sure but how much sense does it make? Any sense at all? Why is Trump presumed to have an automatic effect in favour of the Liberals? We have a career politician of two decades with the knowledge of ins and outs in Canada politics vs. an amateur, an outsider. Why couldn't he beat Carney in standing to Trump's threat? I really would like to see a rational answer to this puzzle. The truth is, it's not Trump per se but Poilievre, his circle and his party's attitude to Trump that lost them the election. No no, not Trump won it for Carney but Poilievre lost it due to his not so subtle affiliation to Trump and his style of politics that majority of voters were able to see through. This conclusion sounds much more grounded than just saying it, doesn't it?
  17. This is not the first time it happened in Canada and neither the second. So why some Conservatives made such a fuss of it? We can probably find such posts even if I bothered to look. So what's the problem with the Conservatives (today) and the objective reality, facts? What's the cause of that tension or even a conflict?
  18. Why do they have to lie, always? What motivates and drives them? Even in this day where all information is at the fingertips? Seriously, why? Who can tell? Who decides where the boundaries go? An independent electoral boundaries commission is created for each province, for a total of 10 commissions. The commissions use demographic data from Statistics Canada and spatial data from Natural Resources Canada to determine if the boundaries need to be changed.
  19. Such a nice rosy picture - and what about the raging goo that vandalized signs of other parties, shouted obscenities, spread misinformation? Did it happen or not? Has anyone noticed and even called it? It would be ever harder to hide it: Conservatives are embracing the same populace, style of discourse and moving in the same direction as earlier the Republicans. The principles and standards, eroding in real time. Objective reality doesn't matter. Win at all cost. Where did all of this go, in this picture? If Cons want a place in the normal political future, they would need to face it, account for it and deal with it now. Else, the writing is on the wall.
  20. Now, what do you think: honesty?
  21. Paint red on a rightwing crackpot and you get a left-wing one, new and shiny.
  22. It's not any "wokeism": it's the reality. More than 50% of this country's population are not "sons" and only a) a mentally incapacitated b) deranged with some crazy ideology, cult, etc or c) an !diot, m0ron dumbf@k and such would have no way of knowing it in this day and age. No one cannot say it in a softer, healing manner. Because if and when we try to cuddle and normalize the insanity it only grows bolder and stronger. And these days, there's nothing abstract about that all in our plain, obvious view.
  23. Another take from these election is that a huge part of mostly rural population just couldn't care about thinking and the reality. They are behaving like automatons, programmed to follow the script that no reality could sway. If J.D. were parachuted into their riding as Cons won't think for a second. Scary. This is what led maga to the power in the states.
  24. Con crowd boos as Poilievre congratulates Carney. They are sick: brains, conscience, decency rotting alive in real time. How could one, in a sane state of mind and conscience see it any other way? Conservatives now are the Republicans yesterday. Rotting and decaying in our eyes.
  25. Rigidity in Canadian politics is real but its cause is not any one party but grossly outdated incumbent nature of politics dating to the 19th century. It needs to be modernized and there's no time to waste. In that we can agree.
