Because it's a rare thing in most peoples lives. I watched it by projecting the image onto a piece of printer paper with a pair of binoculars. It worked well but the eclipse was kind of an anticlimax. I expected it to get darker but there wasn't much change at all.

Trump is not one to be yipping about Vietnam. I see a lot of media talking about North Korea, Trump wants to talk about a Senator's military record. He didn't serve in Viet Nam but at least Blumenthal has a military record.

The CEO of Magna made $182,000,000 last year. The Prime Minister of Canada made $174,000. Maybe if we paid the PM a hundred million a year we'd get a really good one for a change?

Can you believe this bull about Sears? They're ripping off pensions of employees....and giving bonuses to executive officers - who no doubt had everything to do with Sears' failure!
I hope these employees win in their lawsuit! Companies like deplorable Sears ought to get knocked down!

Pensions go to the back of the line when it comes to claims to company assets during a bankruptcy. I don't know what kind of pension plan they had, how much the employees contributed, or how it was managed. Since the market recovery many plans that were underwater after the 08 collapse are now fully funded again, which means the employee contributions are covering all of the benefits and the companies are paying nothing.

It's the 28's in SFO not the 26's. My bad but it's been about 15 years. Maybe thinking YVR. From what I read 28L was closed and the lights were off. Still, runway and taxi lights are different colours so there shouldn't be confusion at night in good visibility. This kind of thing is more likely to happen in daylight. #Harrison Ford.
