  1. Here we go!  Refugee from Syria charged with first degree murder of 13 year old girl in Burnaby B.C.

"The man arrested and charged with the 2017 murder of Burnaby teen Marrisa Shen arrived in Canada as a refugee from Syria just months before she was killed, say police.

Ibrahim Ali, 28, was arrested without incident Friday in Burnaby, where he lives, and later charged with first-degree murder, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team."

Not talking about gun ownership here

That 50k figure is quite the revelation considering the deliberate act of hiding the true figures.  This dishonesty should bring down the government

Politicizing gun ownership after a school shooting? Why?

      Dunno. You brought it up.

Apparently he was sponsored by a church so how much vetting was done, I don't know.

  2. Just saw him on tv. He's got a good answer for everything - he even got a journalist flustered when that moronic reporter asked him if he's behaving like a dictator. Ford just countered that. he's got a good point, too. The judge is an appointee - Ford is an elected Premier. Ford is simply following the mandate that got him elected. And it's true, I never heard anyone interviewed on tv who said it can be challenged. Everyone says he can do it! Lol. reporters say, you didn't campaign for this! He did! It's under streamlining government and running on efficiency!
  3. I was fortunate enough to have respectable parents who taught me not to be too quick to judge at people....what more when there are those who specialize in law, who say the person (Kavanaugh in this case), isn't guilty of what he's being accused of. Thou shalt not bear false witness. I thank God for that. Btw, Bush-Chenney was referring to Ginsburg - who was expected to retire at the time of Obama (which would've been helpful to Obama as it would've given him the opportunity to appoint her replacement). Instead, pundits are anticipating her retirement could very likely happen while Trump is sitting president - she's now 85 years old. There is a difference between laughing at people and laughing at situations/circumstances. It's the situation the Dems find themselves in with Ginsburg that's funny. We haven't seen desperately desperate, yet. We might - if Ginsburg retires soon. Even God has a sense of humor. Why do you think God named Abraham's son, "Isaac?" It has to do with laughter. Because his mother laughed when God told them she'll bear a child with Abraham. She laughed at their situation - their age! Genesis 18 10 Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. 11 Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?” 13 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” 15 Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.” Poverbs 17:22 A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Genesis 21:6 And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” I thank God for............. humor. Do you think the Dems would want Ginsburg to retire any time soon? I don't think you do, either.
  4. Lol. Dems might be plying her with enhancement and booster drugs - and maybe propping her up - just to prevent another Trump nomination.
  5. Have you thought of Mccain? Someone was saying it could be McCain - before he died.
  6. It doesn't make me sick. Obviously, he's not guilty. Lawyers had said he's not guilty of perjury. They've looked at the same evidence that were presented. You see what you wanna see. A person isn't guilty....... just because someone wants him to be. Uh-uh.
  7. You mean......... "let's speculate about it." Speculating is one thing. But that's just that: speculation. You can't peddle it for a fact. I understand you're hoping Kavanaugh is found guilty of perjury. That's the only thing the Dems can hope for, too. Out of desperation, they're trying to throw "perjury" at him to see if it will stick. But from what I can see (and how it was explained by lawyers given above) - he isn't guilty. here's the latest news about him: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-kavanaugh-supreme-court-confirmation-hearing-20180907-story.html No mention of perjury. Wait and see what happens next.
  8. Who's stumped??? Heck, you even misunderstood the title of your own source.
  9. He's not caught! Just look at the title of your own source: Newly Released Emails Show Brett Kavanaugh May Have Perjured Himself at Least Four Times That doesn't mean he's caught! He's being accused of having committed perjury! Big difference. https://www.vox.com/2018/9/7/17829320/brett-kavanaugh-supreme-court-hearing-perjury Democrats are simply desperate.
  10. Yes, I read the news - that's why I'm challenging you! There's nothing that says he was caught committing perjury. Being accused that "he MIGHT HAVE committed perjury," does not mean that he automatically did! Nor does it mean that he was caught! Good grief! Show me the news that says he got caught! Give me the link. Let's read it together.
  11. WHOA! Fake News! Fake News! Is this the latest narrative going around in social media??? Lol! Desperation all around, that's for sure! From sweating Democrats.......to certain anti-Trumps committing libel with these claims! UNLESS.....you can back up that claim, and show that Kavanagh........ was caught .....committing perjury.
  12. Lol. This latest on the anonymous writer has become an entertaining game of "whodunit?" And, it had taken the limelight - shifting away from Mueller and all those who made a plea-deal.....and, Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh! That anonymous letter seems to be taking the shape of a distraction! I must say, the fun-filled speculation as to whodunit seems to have taken the gravity away (if gravity is what's intended)! CBC panel of 3, with Carol Mcneil were having a good time last night. They all agree, this wouldn't hurt Trump! And that's from the CBC! Could it be it was Trump himself who had written that letter?
  13. Meh. Does this anonymous so-called senior admin official exists - or, is that so-called anonymous letter a fabrication - and the writer will eternally remain anonymous? The loony left have been exhibiting such derangements over Trump - anything is now possible.
  14. Freeland - frozen from the White House!   That's the revelation of a guest by CBC (Frank Buckley)....and by the looks and sound of the anchorwoman, it was  unexpected info.   Buckley basically called Freeland, "stupid."

"You don't show your despise for the person you're trying to negotiate with!"

Apparently, there was an interview of Freeland (can't recall what magazine) where-in she talked like the Washington Post!

She was frozen out of the White House.  She does regional circuit - but that's just about it.  Send someone who can negotiate.

The CBC anchorperson looked like she was hyperventilating!

This must be what he was referring to:

      Quote

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland’s recent undiplomatic speech in Washington warned about “angry populism,” the rise of “strongmen” and the United States’ seeming withdrawal from the rules-based international order.

It must've stung so much when Harper was granted entry to the White House.

    3. bush_cheney2004

Harper gets it...Freeland doesn't and wants to live in the past, with the Americans bearing most of the post WW2 burden.

"Recent tensions between Canada and the Trump administration have jolted Canadian officials and commentators to the fact that the United States is moving toward a new model of global engagement rooted in unabashed self-interest. Many who are accustomed to the United States assuming a major share of resources and responsibilities are astonished. But they shouldn’t be. That game is over and may never resume. The deck has been reshuffled. Canadian policy makers need to be ready to play their hand on behalf of Canadian interests. "

  15. "I am part of Resistance" NYT Oped by anonymous ......could be a plan to "divide and conquer" within the WH.

Speculations point finger to Pence as the possible 'anonymous" due to the usage of the term, "lodestar"....which they say is quite a rare term, and which pence had used years ago in his speech.    Why on earth would Pence use that term to write that article if he wanted to remain anonymous???

Looks like someone is trying to pit Pence against Trump.   Someone's playing with Trump's head by sowing paranoia.

  16. Until we hear those recordings......it's all he said/he/she said.
  17. So what? That was then. This is now. If media can blatantly manipulate the messaging to suit their narrative - anyone can. Furthermore, it's so lucrative to write anything against Trump. What Dawkins' writings is for the anti-Gods, is what writings against Trump is to anti-Trumps! One can't help being skeptical about these dime-a-dozen anti-Trump books. Let's talk about him when impeachment proceedings are under way. That is, if anything comes to that.
  18. How reliable is that author?
  19. that's consistently so. .....maybe, you're debating with an imam?
  20. When CBC says "let us know what you think....." and you see all these comments they show - lol, they're all left-wing! Once in a while, they let in a right-wing comment, for appearance's sake. Harper made a big mistake in not dismantling this left-wing propaganda mouthpiece that we subsidize!
  21. Caster Semenya....isn't the real winner.  That's how I see it.   It's like cheating!  He's got higher testosterone level compared to women.  How can it be any different than taking enhancement drugs?

  22. I'd say the attitude about sexual promiscuity is a factor too. Look, we even have to come up with legalized abortion to get rid of unwanted pregnancy. Yes, nature will do it for us. Climate change could be the very thing to do it. Open borders makes it so feasible to wipe out so many with plagues and incurable illnesses. There are new bugs that pose a challenge to our technology. There will always be something, I think.
  23. If vasectomy isn't voluntary - it's a still a violation of human right. We did the same kind of promotion to stop the spread of HIV in Africa - I think the world even provided free condoms - is it working?
