  1. Patronizing in what way? They ought to patronize with money. Talk means squat. Fill 'er up. Red Hen is a business. Sure....there are those who'd spend money to eat there......but there are those who are now messing it up. Last time I heard, Red Hen had to close its door due to so many "fake reservations" being made! One genuine customer who's made a previous reservation wasn't so happy to find it closed. http://www.newser.com/story/261025/restaurant-explains-why-sanders-got-the-boot.html We shouldn't be surprised with this reaction. Alt-Left, of all people, should expect this kind of reaction.....after all, isn't this the kind of modus operandi alt-left people do to establishments they don't like? Like, the Chick Fillet? Oh boy, the reaction is intense. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/06/24/after-sarah-sanders-booted-from-virginia-restaurant-eateries-with-same-name-feel-heat.html The irony on her closed door sign: Democracy requires a principled government. DEMOCRACY REQUIRES WE RESPECT AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS WE HAVE IN THE CONSTITUTION!
  2. Only twisted mentality, and lunatics will read or mistake her tweet as, " a call for violence,".......or, "inciting violence." Lol. You're saying people shouldn't be posting complaints, or saying anything at all! Now, you're attacking freedom of speech! You sure you're not on...........Putin's side?
  3. Whoa! Holy petunia! Welcome back Kimmy! Anyway.....you seem to be upset. You're spouting off irrelevant things like saying something to people. You ought to take a deep breathe. This isn't about saying insulting things to people. This is about A BUSINESS THAT REFUSES SERVICE ...........based on nothing at all other than the fact that the person works for someone the owner/employees don't agree with! And, maybe Sanders' ideology doesn't agree with theirs either, but so what? Businesses can refuse service now, based on people's ideology? This is serious stuff! Some people cry Trump is a danger to democracy.....hello? The danger comes from people who cheer, support and protect the Red Hen employer. There will be those who'll say and do stupid things (like this employer).......but sensible people ought to recognize the stupidity........ and the danger that comes with such stupidity!
  4. There. Read it! And explain how you connect the two! Furthermore, did you also misunderstand the issue of the bakers? The bakers have not told gay people to leave their establishment. Gay people have been welcomed to purchase anything in the store, like everyone else. What they can't do is to have a baker create a custom-made cake for a particular occasion - gay wedding. Either you're confused/ignorant of the ruling issue......or you're deliberately spreading dis-information? Why can't she tweet? Is that another discriminatory tool ALT-LEFT would use now???? get people who don't share their causes get banned from twitting?
  5. Sarah Sanders tweeted: Sara Sanders tweeted: The owner of the Red Hen, gave her side of the story: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/local/wp/2018/06/23/why-a-small-town-restaurant-owner-asked-sarah-huckabee-sanders-to-leave-and-would-do-it-again/?utm_term=.6d4a1ac052d4 There is a note on the board of that restaurant, which is meant for employees. "86" is a code for "refuse service." Isn't it funny how the same people who indignantly say, "well, if you're open for business to the public - you can't discriminate on anyone," would find nothing seriously wrong with this? isn't that how they reason when they oppose bakers who refuse to bake wedding cakes for certain people? At least, religious owners who'd refused, have a ground to stand on - their right to freedom of religion! Trump has not been convicted of any crimes. No one has the right to judge Sanders based simply on her doing what she was hired for, and the man she works for. Does this mean people can now dictate if they don't like your employment? It's either you leave your employment, or get 86-ed? Is it okay then to turn away those who work as prostitutes and strippers in clubs, based on moral grounds? If you find adultery as immoral - can we use that to justify 86-ing them? The Red Hen discriminated on Sarah Sanders, based on her job, and the man she works for. And, looks like it's treated lightly.
  6. Just the mere talk of a looming trade war, had already hurt Germany. http://money.cnn.com/2018/05/15/news/economy/germany-economy-slowdown-trade-trump/index.html
  7. chris pratt‏Verified account @prattprattpratt 11h11 hours ago chris pratt Just wanna give a special shoutout to Solano County Sheriff's Office, Vacaville Police Department, Vacaville Fire & Bruce Simpson at Brenden Theatre, additionally the two young kids I met today whose fighting spirits encourage me. You’re in my prayers. He seems to be reaching out to the young 'uns.
  8. You can't post anything, or claim something like this in public........ unless it's true. It's damaging to a reputation. Expect to be sued.
  9. Sara Sanders tweeted:

"Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so."

If Antifa and the Democrats are the same thing, how about saying Stormfront and the Republicans are the same thing? Or would saying that be shamelessly lying to make a weak point seem more believable?

  10. I read about Pratt's testimony how he came to Christ. A stranger approached him and told him that "Jesus told me to talk to you...." https://www.godvine.com/read/actor-chris-pratt-shared-his-testimony-finding-god-1532.html Another testimony from a guy we didn't know (bought stuff from our garage sale), comes to mind. The casual conversation turned to religion and the realization that we are all Christians. His testimony also involved a stranger: His daughter was at the hospital fighting for her life , and this man was at the hospital parking lot. The parking lot backs to a field. He said he saw a man walking towards him - and as he came alongside him, the mysterious man said, "Jesus saves...." - and the mysterious man didn't stop but walked past him, and kept on walking towards the field. I forgot the rest of the story, but that part stuck with me.
  11. Oh boy. You better watch it again. Seems like things are sailing over your head more often these days.....I hope you're okay. Of course, if you know nothing about the Bible, you won't get it even if you watch it a thousand times.
  12. Those are indeed defamatory claims, unless they can prove them to be true.
  13. You must mean, "your right ends when it steps on the rights of others?"
  14. Chris Pratt gave his own way at spreading the Word - tailored for his young audience I suppose - mixing it with humor. What's most astounding is the reaction from the crowd. His speech about God was cheered!
  15. When you're a minor.......you have to go by your parents. Unless, that's what the system is trying to change? . The law isn't decided by popularity contest. It shouldn't. That would be "mob rule." The law has to be consistent. But of course, a lot of these appointed judges are swayed by their own ideology, thus we see some laws getting manipulated or tweaked to suit their own agenda.
  16. Atheist or not - there should be no law that BANS parents from being informed by the school!
  17. Back to the Gay-Straight Alliance issue, here are the two sides of the argument: https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/schools-parents-dispute-alberta-gay-straight-alliance-law-1.3980920
  18. Don't put words in my mouth. Where did I say that? Cite. Here's what it says: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/saskatchewan-catholic-student-funding-1.4078955 This is not about parental rights. This is about government funding. It's irrelevant to this thread.
  19. That's about funding by the government! http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/saskatchewan-catholic-student-funding-1.4079718 You're now into this entitlement bulls###! Go to a Public School! I don't want to waste anymore of my time with you, Scott!
  20. I don't know anything about that. Are you sure you understood all the details??? Well, I have to question that since you seemed to have not understood what I wrote previously. Cite your source. Can't take your word for it. have to read for myself.
  21. What's an atheist doing in a Catholic school? Secondly, if you choose to go to a Catholic School, then the onus is on you to go by their rules! I just told you in my previous post! Read what I posted above - and UNDERSTAND what is written. I don't want to keep going on the same thing!
  22. WRONG! I'm arguing for parental rights, period. It doesn't necessarily have to be about religious belief. I'm sure there are atheist parents who would mind to have their parental role usurped by someone else. Had it been reversed, like a religious school trying to impose its religious values on an atheist kid (secretly, behind his parent's back).....I'm sure atheist parents would be up in arms! Boy, that doesn't need any stretch of the imagination. heck, we already see it here with some alt-left atheists going all nuts just because of religious doctrines that are taught to the RELIGIOUS.
  23. Sometimes I respond - and I touched what you brought up. I gave my response. But if you want to take it farther, then create a thread for it. What you brought up will definitely derail my thread! You're free to think what you like. I don't expect everyone to agree with me.....but that doesn't mean I'm wrong just because someone says so. You've got to support your claim why you think I'm wrong. That's where the debate will go - and you need a separate thread for that! And no, I'm not trying to censor you. I don't think that's hard to fathom, intellectually....huh?
  24. Create a thread for that. This thread isn't really about abortion. I support that a country has every right to enact its own policies against illegal aliens. Take note, that these people are in the USA, ILLEGALLY! If the country want to change its policy - they have every right to do so. And, Trump did just that. In Canada, Goodale is setting thousands of asylum seekers loose with the public.....free to go anywhere in this country. We hardly deport anyone - maybe they can't find them. That's our policy. I suppose, if we are truly appalled by what we see at the USA border, we can always do the "right" thing and invite all those people to Canada. Anyone who can't enter the USA - please, come to Canada. Let's put a detour sign at the Mexican border to the USA. Furthermore, separating children from parents who'd entered the USA illegally (which can be likened to Children's Aid Society removing kids from their parents), isn't comparable to wily-nilly murdering children (even for no reason at all). Let's get a grip here. Separation isn't comparable to cold-blooded murder. If you want to pursue this farther - please create your own thread for it.
  25. Hold on to your hats, folks.   Just when you thought we've seen the hairy-scary spendings of the Liberals......not only are we building housing for illegals, on top of that.....

Goodale said,  "the government is investing $138 million into the system — to both improve conditions inside detention facilities and look for alternative solutions."
