Get it straight. We agreed on the definition of a coup. We disagreed on the term resistance and how it is a different word than "coup." But we really know that you stopped discussing because I pointed out Trump's seditious tweets and you knew you had nothing.

The fact that  you continue to try and say that Rosa Brooks was advocating sedition after being explained the context of the article shows that you have no interest in knowing the facts.  You just want to attack people and then run away when you are embarrassed in a debate.

Resistance - just like revolution - could mean other things.  I gave the various meanings for revolution.

On the other hand, Coup d'etat means just that - military overthrow of a government!  Silverman was referring to a coup d'etat.

She said "resistance" though. She never said "coup d'état." If she had, you would show me her tweet saying that. Because then you would finally have a situation where you're right and I'm wrong. But you can't do that.
