  1. Wrong as usual. That's the face of some people who hate Musk. They are no more the face of the left than the Aryan Brotherhood are the face of the right.
  2. Also a lie, if anything the opposite is true. So numerous thinktanks, intellectuals and historians come to the same conclusion, but you guys are smarter? The pattern is: Republicans f*ck things up and the Democrats clean up their messes. But you're entitled to whatever kind of delusional rationalizing makes you feel good.
  3. Blaming him for mishandling it. But even with Covid, the facts hold. GDP, recessions... Aren't you the guy who pisses his pants when some one doesn't include a citation? But when you get them and they counter your argument, you choose to ignore the inconvenient facts. You, my little friend, are intellectually dishonest. Study after study has proven you WRONG.
  4. I don't need all these quotes and citations because I'm old enough to have witnessed it myself, from Bush Sr. to Biden, but I know you guys will jump on me like rabid squirrels about it, so I thought I'd cite some proof for you.
  5. https://www.princeton.edu/~mwatson/papers/DemRep_BlinderWatson_July2015.pdf "The U.S. economy has performed better when the President of the United States is a Democrat rather than a Republican, almost regardless of how one measures performance. For many measures, including real GDP growth."
  6. https://galeoimpactfund.org/2022/10/how-the-economy-is-better-under-democratic-vs-republican-leadership/ "A very specific pattern has emerged over the past 100 years and overall, the economy has grown much faster under Democratic leadership rather than Republican ones (Leonhardt, 2021). "
  7. https://www.epi.org/press/new-report-finds-that-the-economy-performs-better-under-democratic-presidential-administrations/ Annual real GDP growth is 1.2 percentage points faster during Democratic administrations than Republican ones (3.79% versus 2.60%). Total job growth has averaged 2.5% annually during Democratic administrations, while it is barely over 1% annually during Republican administrations. Applied to today’s total workforce, this would imply nearly 2.4 million more jobs created every year under Democratic administrations. The Democratic advantage is even larger in private job growth than it is for total job growth. Notably, business investment is higher during Democratic administrations, with investment growth running at more than double the pace than it does during Republican ones. Average rates of inflation—both overall and “core” measures that exclude volatile food and energy prices—are slightly lower during Democratic administrations. Families in the bottom 20% of the income distribution experience 188% faster income growth during Democratic administrations.
  8. https://www.belfercenter.org/publication/historical-puzzle-us-economic-performance-under-democrats-vs-republicans "Since World War II, Democrats have seen job creation average 1.7 % per year when in office, versus 1.0 % under the GOP. US GDP has averaged a rate of growth of 4.23 percent per annum during Democratic administrations, versus 2.36 per cent under Republicans, a remarkable difference of 1.87 percentage points. This is postwar data, covering 19 presidential terms—from Truman through Biden. If one goes back further, to the Great Depression, to include Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt, the difference in growth rates is even larger." "The last five recessions all started while a Republican was in the White House (Reagan. G.H.W. Bush, G.W. Bush twice, and Trump)."
  9. It's because of stupid shit like what you just said there that you're considered a cultist. https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/democrats/2024/10/the-u-s-economy-performs-better-under-democratic-presidents
  10. So why does he only have 1% chance of even having a minority gov't? Canadians don't want him or racists like you. And you only said 'lefty liberal' 4 times. Maybe next time just cut and paste it 100 times since you apparently have nothing intelligent to say.
  11. $35 insulin The inflation Reduction Act ( which ironically helped red states more than blue) The Infrastructure bill (Republicans voted against it, then went home and took credit for the money it brought to their states) A great economy (despite inflation) that dickwad Trump is ruining. You guys enjoy your self-inflicted recession.
  12. I can't believer you're actually that stupid.
  13. Well I expected this. You're not man enough to admit you're wrong. "the new direction in America"= what Trump wants. So you try to weasel around it, and respond with lies and insults. You couldn't be Trumpier if you spray painted yourself orange. And for lack of imagination you called me kid. Ironic, because based on your debating skills, I'm about 60 years older than you. Another example of why you're not taken seriously.
  14. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/03/08/exclusive-canadian-premier-danielle-smith-trudeau-blew-tariff-negotiations-first-mar-a-lago-meeting/ "So I would hope that we could put things on pause is what I’ve told administration officials. Let’s just put things on pause so we can get through an election.” "the perspective that Pierre would bring would be very much in sync with, I think…the new direction in America,” she added. Less than 1 minute to find it. The link to the podcast is there too. But one thing I learned in University a lifetime ago is that any fool can cite and quote a lot of sources to make themselves look smart. Data isn't knowledge, knowledge isn't wisdom. Try thinking for yourself. It's very refreshing.
  15. Oh yeah, nobody's buying opiates for pain. By the way, you have a tell. You start calling people "kiddo" and bragging about how smart and right you are every time you don't have a valid point. But Sonny, you're never quite so stupid as when you're being 'smart'. In Canada people go to ERs and clinics because it's free. They don't always get what they want but those visits can be counted. When people don't go in the states they can't be counted. What ya' got there, 'Psychic Statistics', or just 'Alternate Facts'? Like I said before, you're just an amphigory. But if it makes you feel good about yourself, carry on with the therapy. I'm rootin' for ya' son!
  16. As well as a higher rate of opiate deaths in the US, meaning more people self-medicating, not using the medical system.
  17. That's the pattern. Republicans ruin the economy, Democrats repair. Then because it takes a few years for the turn-around, Republicans can blame it on the Dems to get re-elected.
  18. Proof? How do you get statistics for the US. A lot of poor people probably don't even bother trying to get care because they can't afford it. That won't show up in statistics. PS: I jumped the gun. Didn't see your statistics. However I stand by this post and don't believe the US statistics for the reason given.
  19. Proof? How do you get statistics for the US. A lot of poor people probably don't even bother trying to get care because they can't afford it. That won't show up in statistics.
  20. Right. The Progressive-Conservative (forward-backward) party were a national party. The CPC are basically the Reform Party reborn - a regional party like the Bloc. And that's some bitter frustration you've got against the NDP.
  21. Starting to look like PeePee needs some kind of Aha! moment in the debates or some earth shaking, smoking gun reveal. Other than that, it's just getting worse each day for the Pcs.
  22. You can find these negative examples in the US as well. The best countries in the world are capitalist with social programs, even the US, though it lags behind on most metrics.
  23. I and members of my family have had similar experiences with our health system. When it's immediately serious we get great medical care, at low expense.
  24. Just had an idea. After Carney's call with Trump and Trump's apparent respect for him, could the Pcs flip the idea that Poilevre is too Trumpy, and Trump DOES actually want Carney to win ( which I don't believe for a moment)? I think it's too late and would actually backfire on the Pcs - they'd have to say it's bad to negotiate with the US. Food for thought.
