Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls
Barquentine replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
If that's the case, then only a few who need it will get coverage and it won't cost that much. -
PPC Candidate's Bank Account Frozen
Barquentine replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
About 10 tears back my brother and I worked for a guy who refused to pay us. We went to the prov. labour board, and after investigating they froze his account and took out enough to pay us plus some extra for our troubles. Lots of possible reasons for the govt. to do this. -
Cut the Americans some slack

A 'stable Genius' is one who can count by stamping his hoof 4 times. -
I can't decide if you're unable to read well, if you're just stupid, or completely ignorant by choice. All the clues I've given you and you're too dumb to figure it out. If you ever go to court, for God's sake DON"T represent yourself! What's the point? I've cited reliable, bi-partisan sources before and you choose to ignore them because they refute your dogma. As I keep saying: You are an amphigory: Amphigory Noun: a nonsense verse or composition : a rigmarole with apparent meaning which proves to be meaningless Merriam-Webster

Another point about age differences, habits and biases. Young people are far more susceptible and likely to agree with their peer's opinions, to fit in. Older folks, especially retired ones with enough money to get by, no longer give much of a shit about 'What other people think." And that's wisdom.

I looked up hubris - there was a picture of you. You being only 5'2" explains a lot. And your assumptions show an embarrassing lack of intelligence. "As think as you are"? So you're just spouting off into the mic on your device without thinking first or reading your own words before you post. Either that or you're a really bad bot. Exactly. Those 20 year olds are the misinformed I was talking about. Did you not get that or just have a pathological need to 'Mansplain" every thing to make yourself feel superior? Mirror, mirror... As I said before: Data is not knowledge, knowledge is not wisdom Ain't that quaint? And the Waltons listened to Lum and Abner. My parents had habits too, but they knew a d*ckhead like PeePee when they saw one. And I know one when I read his bullsh*t opinions

You mean people who get all their info from their phones. In my experience (knowing and working with a lot of people of all ages) these phone educated people are the most ignorant and naive, most susceptible to fallacious arguments, lies and conspiracies. And btw, your disdain for older people (you seem to think they are the gullible, naive ones) is wrong and insulting. Wisdom trumps the barrage of suspect info flowing through the online media sewers.

Liberal Party Takes Lead in Polls
Barquentine replied to TreeBeard's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I thought that too at first, but now I don't believe the debates will matter much. People are mostly locked in, Quebec will be forgiving of Carney's French, Quebecers won't switch over to Poilevre or Singh, maybe the Bloc gets a small bump... And outside of the west, Poilevre is not going to be the majority choice. If he were to be, it would have shown by now. Unfortunately for the Cons, he's a one-trick pony. -

Look it up. He funded the CBC every year in office. A lie doesn't become the truth just because you keep repeating it. -
Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls

It's not the crowd size or the rallies themselves. It's the bragging about crowd size that's very Trumpy. And what does it matter if you get 12000 people in Edmonton who were already going to vote Conservative? It signifies nothing of import. -

I'm smart enough to know I'm not smart. Can't say the same for you. You seem to like trading insults. You're just not very good at it. -

Please tell me it ain't so: Poilievre now invests in (VCE) Vanguard FTSE CDA IDX ETF, BTCC — Purpose Bitcoin ETF and VNRDF Vanguard FTSE CDA IDX ETF. While Poilievre has repeatedly criticized Carney's involvement in Brookfield, one of the top assets in the (VCE) Vanguard FTSE Canada Index ETF is Brookfield Corporation. -

Well phrased cogent argument. Just what we've come to expect from you. Did I hit a nerve? Or are you just having a bad day, week, month, life? Better you should vent on me than your family, I guess. -

Finally you agree - that's what PeePee does. Well, isn't that convenient? Hmmmmm? Examples? Your credibility has nose dived here. -

And for the Cons, couldn’t polls predicting a big loss keep some of them at home? I'm just waiting for the Cons to start saying "The system is rigged!" -
More China influence. And more reporting on pro-India groups helping PeePee get elected.

You and I both know they're not going to be defunded. Or maybe it's because PeePee often doesn't answer questions but just spouts more slogans. The results make sense since journalists aren't allowed on the Con's plane. And Radio-Canada is not going to publish false results that someone else could easily call them out on. That's PeePee's modus operandi. -
Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls

Just saw a report from Radio-Canada that sifted through all the data on the Leaders interactions with the Press. Poilievre has answered the fewest questions of the three party leaders. Wonder why? -
Won't happen.
