The 25% tariff the US is placing on Canada and Mexico effects 21% and 25% of their economies respectively. The 25% tariff that each has placed on the US only effects 2% or less of the US economy. So, while up to 2% of the US economy will slow, Canada and Mexico will see significant slow downs in their economy. It is only a matter of time before they must relent. And it isn't hard. Do better at stopping fentanyl and terrorists and this is all over. All they have to do is enforce their own laws. That's it. It shouldn't be a big deal.
