Rerun. Seen it. -
I'm not going to go through and get mortality rates for every disease we vaccinate against. But, modern medicine is far more effective than when we started almost all of these vaccines. I don't see 1 in 200 or 1/2% as incredibly high. But, whatever. Well, I posted the full quote, in context, where you guys claimed he was saying that all vaccines are unsafe and ineffective. He clearly did not say that or believe that. But, you guys don't care about reality. All you want is the sound bite and the emotional reaction. T' hell with reality. The Polio vaccine claims a 99% rate of prevention. If you have the vaccine and that rate is true, what does herd immunity do for you? Nothing. I'm not going to force people to take risks they don't want to take. That's their business. It's not your business either. You aren't a dictator. You don't get to force people to do what you want them to.

Trump's newest executive orders

The first 3 were hilarious. I think I am going to start calling it the Bigly Dome. Can we get one that bans the word the from being placed before Ohio State? I mean seriously. Can we? -

It is true that most of the vaccines we get, as kids, are for diseases that are much less deadly now than before. Take Polio for example. About 1 in 200 that get Polio become paralyzed. Of those, 5-10% die. Do the math, .05% of cases at the worst die. WHO That isn't some massive danger. It's actually less deadly than the flu. The Polio vaccine is relatively safe, but it does have potential side effects, including paralytic polio. Full disclosure, my kids are fully vaccinated. I'm not saying no one should get these vaccines. I'm saying that RFK isn't batshit crazy for wanting continuing studies into the effectiveness and the side effects of these vaccines. For example, we just introduced an mRNA vaccine into the population. How will that interact with a full set of standard vaccines? What about people that are mostly unvaccinated or maybe have some vaccines but not all? Asking the questions and getting the answers is not a bad thing. Information is a good thing. Good information is even better. I asked our Pediatrician about the effectiveness, need and side effects of each vaccine we administered. He answered, gave us his experience and we made our choice. Everyone should have that opportunity. Don't deny people the opportunity to be informed just because they view the risk differently from you. If they view the risks of a vaccine as a risk they don't want to take, that's on them. That is none of your business.
