The dems had the ability to avoid ALL of this just by keeping the border closed and coming up with reasonable policies for dealing with the illegal immigrants while they were in office, either under biden OR obama. They could have created a path to citizenship or at least landed immigrant status that didn't honk off the whole country, they could have found a way to start removing illegals in a more gentle fashion over time, they could have actually dealt with it. Instead they made it worse, and then attacked trump for DAAAARING to care about the issue. Well.... now nobody feels like being 'reasonable'. Kennedy had a saying - if you make peaceful revolution impossible you make violent revolution inevitable. The dems could have found a more peaceful way to address the issue in the 12 years where they were in power and it was front and center, or supported republican ideas to help address it when trump was in. They did not. Now a more 'forceful' approach is going to happen.

Not canadian age i believe, so it may be a little confusing. But they would still be considered 'statutory rape' victims in canada because they were employees at a young age and epstien would be considered to have a posiiton of power and authority over them, and that's a factor in Canada. Our age of consent is still 16, and that's new, it was 14 when i was younger. The age of consent in the us is 18 i believe, and some of the girls were 16 and i may be remembering wrong but one may have been 14. Definitely a few were under the age of american consent at least when they first began having sex with epstien and gislaine.

I think you two have some excellent points. but i think you're missing a very important one. There doesn't need to be malice to drive the country into the ground, a car is going to crash if the driver stops driving whether he wants it to or not. I think the problem is the liberals are entirely focused on milking the system to put massive amounts of money into their own pockets. I think the only thought they give to the economy is that it has to be strong enough to provide the billions they funnel into special interest groups, international charities, consultants and businesses all of which will provide them with vast wealth when they're out of office, and also spending hundreds of millions in taxpayer money on their own perks and benefits while in office and to make connections for when they leave , I think they just stopped driving the economic car, and if it crashed oh well, as long as it was still strong enough to pay for justin's 1000 dollars a plate airline food etc I think the only time they bothered with policy was the minimum they had to do to avoid being thrown out. In other words, they're more like vampires than overlords - they want to keep the country barely alive and not fighting back so they can enjoy their meal ticket. I'm sure they wouldn't be mad if we were more successful, they're just not prepared to put any energy into making that happen.
