That's pretty big And that extra point or so of support is happening in ontario, That's where all the growth is - except for some in bc in liberal and ndp ridings. Which is why 338 already shows PP in a strong minority gov't even with those numbers. Another point up and another down for the libs and he's brushing up against majority. So his personal brand is growing much stronger, and the CPC is growing stronger where it needs to the most. If that continues he'll be polling up against majority territory as early as this time next year. But the op is correct - PP is working out kinks in his methods and style, improving his messaging, and building his base. All of this is possible because of the ndp deal. There's no real chance that deal will last to the next election, but even if it lasts to 2024 PP will be much more ready to put up a fight and will easily have the base so that if he runs a decent campaign he should pick up a majority.

The fbi found NO evidence of it. The commission didn't. NOBODY did. There are powers and rights granted to states .. but i suspect that's not what you're looking for so i wont 'cheat' and include any of those. However there are many that only apply to citizens. wherever the constitution uses the word "citizen" it only applies to actual citizens, born or naturalized. If it says "the people' it means everybody. So - consider the 14th amendment section one: Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. Citizens have the right to live in the country for example - you can't pass a law which removes a citizen's right to do so. You can lock them up but you can't kick them out. That does NOT apply to anyone BUT citizens. However - the NEXT line says that you shall not deprive any PERSON -meaning ANYONE - of life liberty or property without due process of law. You see the difference. Now that 'privileges and immunites' thing shows up a few times and is a little vague and not fully spelled out in the constitution but has been deemed by several judges to basically mean that you have the right to enter and leave any state and to live there, you cannot be taxed differently than residents of that state, you must be granted 'all the benefits of citizenry that normally would be recognized by common use in countries' , ish. Those rights are not granted to non citizens. A non citizen CAN be forbidden to travel within the us or to and from it. They CAN be taxed differently. They DON"T enjoy the 'commonly accepted benefits of citizenship". which would include a variety of rights. There's not a LOT which is 'citizen specific' in teh constitution but there definitely is some,
  17. well not really, And first off it was clear that there was no evidence conspiracy or 'russian collusion' that even could be charged. So lets get that out of the way - the report left no doubt that the 'russian collusion' narrative which ran for almost 4 years was a complete hoax. Didn't happen. But - he claimed that trump during the investigation behaved in a way that could be considered obstruction possibly and may be chargeable, but that he wasn't sure how that worked with a sitting president and that it would have to be a decision for the justice department. Who reviewed the info and said "Yeah - no. It's not obstruction. Mueller also noted that the 'obstruction' in no way hindered his investigation. There's so many legitimate critisizms of trump - it is simply pathetic to watch people hold on to THIS OBVIOUS LIE. There was no 'russian collusion'. Trump had people who had ties to russia - so did the dems. There is zero evidence that trump at any time tried to work with the russians to influence the election inappropriately. And - there's zero evidence of it from their efforts - their efforts didn't particularly support anything trump did.

Well not in 1970 it hand't been - we only got gay marriage in 2005 But i was in school in the 70's as well and for sure there was not only acceptance of gays but a very strong general principle of 'accept everyone' taught that basically suggested that everyone's got differences - find what you have in common and learn about the differences and we'll all be better off. But not a single native anywhere actualy wants soverignty. They'd have to come up with their own money, etc. They seem to recognize the cheques just fine Sorry - first nations are canadian and they don't get to be their own nation and they don't WANT to be their own nation. Imagine if they had NO say in the lands around them, got NO benefit cheques or access to any infrastructure or the like. They'd be dead in no time. The courts have been clear. NEITHER side is going away. first nations can't divorce themselves from canada and they'd starve if they did. In the meantime - i see both the pipelines that the provincial gov't allowed are proceeding and just about to finish. What were you saying about first nations being soverign?
