LOL - well sure - but at the end of the day all that means is you can't say if it is or is not being taught in schools. As discussed - the lack of name doesn't' tell us much. It also doesn't preclude the possibility that it IS being taught and that it's just not referred to as CRT. I'm sure there are those who will refer to anything as CRT - but i'm equally certain there are those who will teach crt and elements of crt and pretend it isn't. So while i'm quite willing to believe that you've never seen it as a part of the curriculum under that name, as you yourself note you wouldn't be able to say if it was being taught or not.

Quite possibly. It's a major problem right now - the left all across canada right now is is treating landlords like they're evil disney step moms and many are leaving the market. Which means that there's a severe shortage and increased prices which upsets the renters even more who then get more angry at the landlords and so on. Eventually something will have to give but you can't force people to rent out their places.

Sounds kind of like you're playing word games though. "not explicitly"? So - if they teach it but call it Race Critical Theory then they're not teaching critical race theory? Is that what we're going with? Seriously - are they teaching elements of critical race theory or not. If they are not, then fine. if they are teaching any elements of Critical Race Theory that a reasonable person could recognize as belonging to that body of work... then fine, but you should have no problem saying that and they should have no problem defending it.

Trump is Heading to Prison
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Really - so why isn't he in prison if he's been convicted as a sex offender? What was their reasoning for not locking him up? -
Nope - sorry. And you were the one who didn't know the correct term earlier. So that kind of proves my point. Because you already know i'm right. You already admitted it. Soooo - yea, sorry kiddo. It's too late to ask for a source AFTER you've conceded the point Well then you're still being an illiterate dolt. in all those years there was 2 or 3 significant riots or thereabouts - since then there have been far far more. And bigger and more damaging Look it up. See? Told you i'm educational LOLOL! The race wars we have today and for the last decade or more are a product of the left. Sorry to rain on your echo-chamber.

It's been 40 years. I think we're past the "procrastination' stage And they had time to implement a carbon tax and other things, they've enacted other policies. While i realize that 'moving at the speed of gov't' is a standing joke for all gov'ts i think that the trudeau gov't has had the time but made a conscious choice not to take it seriously .

Trump is Heading to Prison
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
If that were true he'd be charged and convicted long ago. Sigh. LEFTIES - "Trump is so stupid that he cannot even tie his own shoelaces without help! He doesn't understand anything!" ALSO LEFTIES - "Trump is a criminal genius the likes of which havent' been seen since Moriarty, and this explains how he committed so many crimes without being caught". LOL. Yawn. Wake me when he's convicted of something to do with this presidency. In the mean time you should probably keep your fantasy trump porn to yourself. -
Ahhh the old joke about calling an insult 'Not an insult - factual statement" You were totally triggered and sorry, you can't excuse your way out of that. It is a fact he still ran deficits for YEARS after the crisis was over (a crisis caused by dem policy to begin with, but that's another topic). And the only reason they came down is the fighting with the GOP over debt ceiling increases. Biden did NOT inherit a financial crisis. He inherited a pandemic crisis. The moment that was over the finances began to right themselves. HIs overreaction and gross mishandling has lead to high interest rates and even higher inflation. The fact is that the crisis is over but it's still higher than it was under trump. Nothing grand perhaps - but i never claimed there was Good tho - yep it was good. As we've previously noted GDP went up nicely - far better than obama's and almost instantly after trumps tax cuts. And gdp per capita, not just gdp. AND YOUR OWN GRAPH SHOWS THAT TRUMP'S AVERAGE DEFICIT WAS STILL LOWER THAN OBAMA'S - right up until covid. You literally posted the proof that trump was better in your own graph. ROFLMAO - seeing as you just proved yourself wrong... .maybe that's advice YOU should be following Trump's economy - Jobs up, Wages up, GDP up. Business investment up. Stock market up. The gains he was hoping for after the tax hikes were fizzling and he needed to do more to keep it going but he only got 3 years before covid hit. For the time he was in office - comparing his first term to obama's second - (when the crisis was long over), Trump did better by a modest amount.

Recently perhaps but not always historically. As noted in that video there's lots of times when the earth has risen in temperature quite "Suddenly". Now - full disclosure i feel that while yes, there are probably many other factors substantially contributing. humans play a significant role in what's going on with 'climate change'. But - the truth of it is that the idea this has never happened before or some how significant climate shifts haven't happened even within human history (before there was enough of us to do anything) isn't really accurate. In any case - the people pushing this for the most part don't live as if they really believe it. And Canada's contribution is so small it would go unnoticed if we all died and stopped producing. So - IF it's a "real concern" why would the liberal gov't keep missing it's climate goals and why woudln't they be focused on helping produce technology to reduce or eliminate or capture carbon out put that we could sell to countries like china that really ARE a problem? They obviously have access to the best data, and they're not really worried at all.

See? I made you google it and now you learned something. I"m not just smart, i'm educational The rest of it went off the rails for you but hey - baby steps! I agree. THat is the opposite of Reality BS. The opposite of reality bs is reality. Sigh. You're making this too easy. It takes the fun out of it. And as we've noted 'trickle down' doesn't exist. But the concept has been around for quite a while. And it has been what gave rise to the middle class. Nope. The dems exploited existing dissatisfaction to create the 'mad and furious'. From 1992 - 2009 there were very few incidents. Since then, it's grown in leaps and bounds in number AND size - largely driven by the divisions the dems have inflamed. "If i'd had a son, he'd look like travon". And as i noted this has a very long history with the dems.

It draws attention to it. Normally budgets just pass and no one gives it a second thought. This will draw at least some attention to the budget and highlight that the CPC is the only national party that's raising concerns about it. That will also mean Jaggers has to wear his support of that budget a little more. It doesn't do MUCH - but it doesn't cost much to do either. And sometimes symbolism really matters. Now - did you have an intelligent reply or are you going to run away in terror with another version of yup ? well he does have a logical reason of course and it should be pretty obvious even to you. This is just more of "waaaaaaah!! my favourite, trudeau, is looking bad again and me angry!!!WAAAAAAAH" The budget is a hot mess - this will keep that in the papers a little longer - and it gets some of that mud on the ndp.

LOL - well lets see.... Posts little 'surrender' posts like 'ha ha ha' - Check Has lost the ability to speak in actual sentances? - Check Desperately attempts to insist he doesn't care while constantly posting and frantically trying to look less stupid - check Yep - it's not even time to start work and i've rebooted his brain once already ROFLMAO!!!!

Well that's demonstrably stupid First off there is no such thing as 'trickle down' economics, that's just a term lefties use to explain concepts too complicated for them to understand. But in fact the concept behind it is why we had a middle class form in the first place. it's OUTRAGEROUSLY pro worker. Tell your union rep to do a little research before telling you lies Culture war is without a doubt the left wing's invention and democrats have been using it all the way back to the days of slavery. And it was obama and the democrats who put together the intersectional coalition to get him elected - get a bunch of diverse groups, get them mad and furious about their situation, then tell them you'll protect them if you get elected. Since then things have gone down hill fast. But i love how the left pretends it's not doing anything "We must stop racism - BAN DR SEUSS - IT MUST BE SHUT DOWN!!!!! FORM A COMMITTEE! CANCEL IMMEDIATELY!! REEEEEEE" 'Hey - those were great books, why are you doing that?" gee dude - don't make a big deal over it. Why are you guys always getting so worked up over little things

well there is a shit tonne of that evidence out there and much much scientific research has been done. Read a book. As to how fast it depends. Sometimes pretty fast, sometimes not for millenia. Read about that time it didn't rain for a million years then rained for a million years At the beginning of the 1300's - the worst century in history to live in by far - the weather which had been stable for ages suddenly shifted and it caused mass crop failures across all of europe and asia and starvation became rampant and a constant threat for the better part of the century as crops no longer grew like they used to as a result of the weather change. That was pretty fast.
-
A common story - and in the 80's there was a great exodus from aberta as starving young familes fled the damage done by the NEP and made new homes in BC, so a lot of albertans still have family and ties to places in bc. I'm not sure there's two provinces in Canada with more of a 'crossover' population between them. Arguably true in years gone by, but the last few summers and "climate change' have created some challenges. The extra heat and wildfires have made it less of a perfect destination than it used to be. Hopefully the weather will smarten up but it looks like this year will be bad.

LOL - wow you've cracked early today SO give me ten more kiddo I'll also accept he he he's and heh heh's, or whatever floats your boat. It all means the same thing, you're intimidated as hell and your ego won't let you not reply but you're too afraid to make an argument or say something that could make you look more stupid

Trump is Heading to Prison

Not for any of those. Sorry. And like i said - the "nice' legal experts are calling it a severe long shot. Yawn. Call me when he's convicted of something serious with regards to his presidency. Hillary actually DID commit a crime and got off. I doubt trump will be convicted of anything worth speaking of. Nah. It's been about 2 and a half years, if there was ANYTHING substantial there they'd have dinged him. And lets be honest there - a reasonable man can see that while he may have shown indifference to the rioting and his words may have inspired some, he didn't organize or call for riots. Many of the dems have said as much or worse. And a number of the rioters quoted AOC's comments that riots are supposed to be 'uncomfortable' and nobody's going to lock her up. Simple fact is they can't or won't. And like i said - i've been hearing that he'll be convicted of XXX crime any day now for years. -
Very convincing - just remember you still owe me 6 and i'll get them eventually, you can't help yourself But its hilarious how desperate you are to convince me that this doesn't traumatize you, all the while doing things that show you're traumatized. Like posting nothing but nervous laugher like ha ha ha. Very charlie brown of you.

Specifically alberta's RETIREMENT playground. For many many years bc is the one province in Canada where more people leave alberta and move to than the other way around, and it's largely driven by retirement. Who wants to live out their elder years in 6 feet of snow when you can move to the island and still be growing flowers in decemeber. You know what they say - you know it's spring in vancouver when you can see the flowers blooming. You know it's spring in Calgary when you can see the sidewalk And those people can afford nice homes. So every year our home prices shoot up about 15-20 percent and it has a whopping huge effect on our gdp.
