  1. Nonsense. There are many examples of the opposite being true. For god's sake man, read a book before making insane comments like that. If the economy is stimulated and more people are working at better paying jobs and the economy starts to heat up then gov't revenues skyrocket. It's like this - lets imagine tax cuts doubled the taxable economy for a moment. Lets also say the gov't was charging an average of 10 percent tax and the taxable income was 100 starting off. So gov't revenue is 10 dollars - 10 percent of 100. Now -lets say you cut taxes to 7 dollars. And the economy takes off and you go to 200 taxable income. Now you're making 14 dollars instead of ten. Neither of those statements are true. Again - not accurate. We can go through it if you like but you'll find that's just far too simplistic. Having said that there is a sweet point. You can't just cut taxes and make more money. There is a magic number where you have the most business stimulation reasonably possible and yet the highest income and going below that will do nothing for you. And generally tax cuts alone aren't going to do it - it has to be part of a larger plan. Trumps tax cuts did work initially and the economy was stimulated but there was no follow up and no other policies to capitalize that and so it wore off within a year and the economy was back to 'decent' but certainly nothing that was going to eliminate the deficit.
  2. Is it? I would point to america and note that a lot of the proposed socialism based redistribution of wealth and 'equity balancing' is very heavily racially motivated I think if you look at it you're going to realize you aren't going to be able to defend this one It is actually. In fact it's the basic foundation of socialism AND communism - the idea that there is one group who has less and one group who has more and you want to take from one and give to the other to 'balance' things. Those different groups might be identified by Class (marx) or race (hitler) or other method but at the end of the day it's ENTIRELY about laying out who gets what. And as noted the socialists today are very much tied to race. They claim the blacks are exploited and marginalized and should recieve money, resources, opportunities to redress that imbalance. Yes - finally germans would have gotten their fair share instead of being exploited by the jews or those golddigging Gypsies who live off german hard work. Now - lets make a few substitutions. Finally blacks would have gotten their fairh share after being exploited by the whites or those gov't carpetbaggers who lived off the black man's work. See? Socialism is all about saying one group is being exploited by another and we have to make it fair to everyone by taking from some and giving to others. The specifics of how you identify the groups isn't entirely relevant
  3. There is a strong difference between communism and socialism. Hitler was a strong socialist supporter but hated the idea of communism. Further - hitler's socialism is a lot closer to what we'd call democratic socialism today or market or liberal socialism. He believed in a market economy (whcih communism doesn't) but strong gov't control over and regulation of and significant gov't ownership of the companies that made up the market. So he was very socialist but firmly opposed to marx and communism.
  4. uhhh - it was the american FN's who requested that change. They slapped themselves in the face?
  5. Right? And hawaiian pizza was invented in Canada! Apparently there's a lot of people right now who think you're going straight to pizza hell for even suggesting it.
  6. The problem is largely the 'soclalism' part of the equasion. Whether it's nazi, communist, democratic, whatever - those are just the toppings on the ice cream, not the cream itself. different flavours of the same thing. The problem with socialism is that in order to work it requires a pretty authortarian gov't. You can hardly control the economy or social safety nets without a strong centralized control. That will ALWAYS create an immediate instant power base for the dangerously ambitious to seize control of and take over with - and that's what inevitably happens. Socialistic models always start out looking great - "we will take the means of production away from the rich (or let them run it and just take the money) and then you will be paid fairly for your work finally honest", But they always end up with the guys near or at the top siphoning away the riches and passing laws limiting freedoms to keep that process going.
  7. Well as noted that's not a true statement - it was 8 years. And clearly he never got the chance - even if he'd been re-elected covid ruined any chance of that. But to be honest i believe his hope was that his tax cuts would stimulate the economy a lot more over time. They did initially, he did very well for about a year but that kind of settled down and didn't pay off the dividends he was hoping. He still would have had time but honestly while i think he could have reduced it, i don't think he could have wiped it out. But we can't pretend covid didn't happen of course.
  8. I like pinapple on pizza and i don't care what anyone says. ( i don't even know how this became 'controversial' ) I would say that my most controversial is that 911 was a legitimate military attack, not a 'terrorist' attack. All the targets were either military or things that funded the military and allowed the nation to make war or were leadership. They went after the economy, the president, the pentagon. While they didn't technically have a country, they were basically part of the Afghan political infrastructure and people so this was more country to country. They were responding to what they perceived as American interference with their country. I still think it was disgusting and horrible and that they should have been rounded up and slaughtered for it but i believe it's wrong to call it a terrorist attack.
  9. True. But we like you anyway
  10. Well if you were bright enough to read a poll (or read) you'd note that the other party probably wouldn't. At least not very often if at all. This would be very similar to when harper was in power in the early days. Any one party could keep them afloat so it takes all parties to bring them down. The bloc will tend to want to keep a situation like that going and will deal with them on numerous issues. The liberals won't want to force an election over areas where they're weak so will back down on a number of issues. And of course they know that for the first year and a half the libs AND the dips will be far too poor to go back to an election AND both will likely be having leadership races that take time and the new leaders will need time to get organized. All PP has to do is do a good job for 18 months and not do anything crazy and then call or force an election and voila - majority.
  11. Wow - you started off well but you're obviously coming apart fairly quickly today (Btw - your whole thing with the 'yup ok' is that you feel that's the only response i'm worth. Responding more after that in the same posts makes you look kinda stupid and pathetic Just sayin ) It's obvious that's precsely what you're doing with every yup ok And i do love those salty tears EDIT - AND I NOTICE THAT AFTER I POSTED THIS YOU HAD TO GO BACK AND EDIT YOUR POST TO CHANGE IT AND ADD THINGS TO LOOK LESS STUPID. PRETTY PATHETIC
  12. Good boy - you might as well roll over on your back every time you do that You mean like i do every day? Yeah - you're a flippin' genius LOL Who could have predicted it?!?! Well it's nice to see you calm this morning - able to talk in actual sentences and not sputtering like an !diot again like yesterday. Try to keep your cool today will you?
  13. You don't even have the courage to stand by your convictions. If your answer is 'it costs what it costs' then the same answer is true here - democracy costs what it costs. Precisely. When it's a subject you support you say 'it costs what it costs', when your beloved liberals are in trouble its "do we REALLY want to spend that money?!?" lol If there was an inquiry the balance of power would have done something. Wouldn't it. ....pointing out how childish your position is . And it is. Claiming that an inquiry couldn't provide anything of value for the Canadian voter is ridiculous on the face of it. It's just you being a partisan hack. LOL - because as a coward, that's all you can do Its your way of saying you've lost but you want to pretend you didn't
  14. Or at all really. Simple fact is you're no where near as clever as you think you are, which is what makes it so fun to torment you Ohhh nooooes - is the big bad man tormenting you? Snif! You literally responded with yup ok 10 times in a row when i told you to Very little? You respond exactly how much i tell you to LOL - it makes me laugh if that's what you mean. Everyone knows you're intimidated as hell by me and that's your way of hiding. It's a little sign to the world that you're upset and insecure
  15. But it's a way that he honestly could gain an election advantage. And ways like that don't come up every day. It's a genuine issue he could convincingly stand up and say "see? This is why we're different than the libs". That's not going to get easier to find as he gets closer to election time.
  16. Literally replying to your post to me ROFLMAO!! Man that dementia sure is a problem for you You can't even remember what you did one post ago And once again you're so upset you can't speak in sentences you really do have some mental health issues don't you Again - literally replying to your post Honestly tho you're the best kind of free entertainment As near as i can tell when you get really upset you stop speaking in coherent sentences and your brain just resets and you can't remember what you were doing before. It's like i can reboot your mind remotely! LOLOL!
  17. Reconciling is a two way street. I look at what Canada has done to reconcile and it is MUCH. But it feels like the first nations are turning it into an industry to last forever. they claim the people who never went to the school are also victims due to 'generational suffering'. So basically this lasts forever. So how is reconciliation possible? We just pay each generation a big whack of money forever? That seems to be the plan. The kids who really suffered under the res school are dead. THe handful that are alive who attended the last schools did not suffer like that nor was it mandatory At some point it has to end. Or it's not redressing the sins of the past at all
  18. Better than yours Well as noted that's simply a lie. So what you're saying is that this WON"T solve any problems and it's wasted money. We should be opposing politicians who go for this kind of stuff. Well - noted.
  19. LOL - nice you know you're still my biatch So why did you add that then? In fact, why post at all? ohhhhh right - desperate for my attention. I forgot
  20. What the hell are you talking about? Afraid to touch it - Trump took it to the supreme court and tried to have it declared unconstitutional. And he was only in 4 years. And their 'plan' was to go back to the way it was. You need to read more before making statements like that. As to it working or not - meh. Honestly it doesn't seem to be substantially better than before - states have cut back on medicaid and such because it's available and that disadvantages those who can't afford it. So some are a little better off and some are worse off. Some people really don't like it - they lose their doctor or don't have access to the health network they want - others don't mind. So yeah - it wound up taking away a lot of health care from the most needy. It really didn't work. When you look at what it was intended to do vs what it did.. naw.
  21. of course i have. Numerous times. You just don't want to deal with it. Or you're just that dumb, i suppose we can't rule that out. Yep. Conservatives don't care. Hell most on the center left don't care. The ONLY reason this is happening is because a teeny tiny percent of the population will feel slightly better about their mental health issues if they can pretend they're a different sex, and some people feel they can cash in virtue signalling about it. Which is bad enough but whatever - the real question as i've said is does this resolve their issue? or are they going ot come back with another list of 'deamnds' that cost a lot? This is going to be hundreds of millions if not billions to impliment across canada, if it doesn't solve anything then what was the point
  22. Yeah. But - now we can get Fcked via microsoft, apple, google AND roku devices so there's that.
  23. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/all-schools-must-comply-schools-get-heavy-handed-against-pride-backlash?s=09 Two provinces have now warned school boards that a failure to properly observe Pride could be illegal As in-school Pride celebrations face growing signs of backlash across Canada, administrators are responding with stern reminders to school boards that these observations are not optional. “It is incumbent on all school boards to ensure all students – most especially 2SLGBTQ+ students – feel supported, reflected in their schools, and welcomed within our communities,” Ontario Minister of Education Stephen Lecce wrote in a June 2 statement to kick off Pride Month. He added, “that includes celebrating Pride.” On the evening just before June 1, teachers in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board were sent a lengthy email reminding them that “2SLGBTQ+ representation” in the classroom is a “fundamental human right” protected by law. “The exclusion or erasure of 2SLGBTQ+ identities from educational materials constitutes a form of discrimination,” it added. In B.C., Education Minister Rachna Singh opened Pride Month with a lengthy statement detailing how a failure to affirm and recognize students’ gender identity is a violation of the B.C. Human Rights Code. This isn't going to end well. They're just fueling the fires. What kind of mental degenerate thinks that you can make people accepting of others at gun point?
  24. Well trump certainly did tell a few orgs and countries and media personalities etc to suck rocks from time to time. But like i said, politics is always downstream of culture. Politics can INFLUENCE culture but mostly it's a reflection of it. With people being so tribal that's all politiicans focus on these days - basically exploiting that tendency in people
  25. its' easy to tell when you're getting upset - you stop using complete sentences and just kind of ramble Not to mention your spelling goes to crap. I guess i must be getting under your sjkin LOL Man, if dumb could fly you'd be supersonic keep dancin' little guy ! Wow - you're REALLY obsessing about me today Always love seeing those salty tears kid - keep it coming
