  1. Is that what i said? This is what i mean - dishonest.
  2. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/the-progressive-left-discards-muslims-as-un-canadian The demographic profile of the two groups couldn’t have been more starkly distinct. On the front lines of the anti gender ideology protests were people of colour and devout Muslims, as well as Christians, facing off against mostly masked old stock white Canadians leading the counter protesters. The progressive left which immediately judges any cause they disagree with as being “far right,” because it might constitute mainly white Canadians, were here mostly white, facing protesters against the trans agenda who were far more diverse than they were, almost representing a cross section of Canada. The cognitive dissonance was palpable. The ideology of the left tries to bend reality to justify it's numerous and conflicting points so much that It was inevitable that eventually it would bend around completely and bite it's own ass. That day has come.
  3. Well according to the pride organizers kids like kink and stuff. It's like playing with a clown! But with penises!
  4. ROFLMAO - what happened to "bye"? LOL - did you stew on that all night and you just couldn't resist coming back? HAHAHAHA Meanwhile you're going to argue that you're NOT the fool? Man... you weren't looking good before that post but now you not only look like the fool, but you look like a desperate and pathetic fool. Well done
  5. Although it is strangely challenging to find actual video footage of him that's recent ( i thought there'd be a LOT more) i did go take a look as i really haven't 'seen' him recently, just read stories. I just don't see what you're seeing. And i'm a bit of a body language expert. A LITTLE bit maybe - but to me he just looks like he always does when he's in a fight. It's kind of his wheelhouse. The thing about donald is that he's not capable of looking far enough ahead to be frightened by what might happen. If he WAS able to think that way he probably woudn't be in this mess. As to stirring the masses, you're definitely wrong there by all evidence. His polling has him neck and neck with biden, and not going down. There's evidence that the court issue is causing his supporters to rally around him, not abandon him, And he still seems to have massive support within the GOP to lead them in to the next election. ANd the problem for the dems is that next to biden an overripe avocado would seem 'energized'. I think you're wishful thinking a bit. At this point it would appear there's about a 50 50 chance trump will be the next pres.
  6. Well - you shouldn't need me to tell you that law is in no way shape or form what you claim it is What part of what they did is "Corrupt" as it's defined in the law? Remember - they need to take the action 'corruptly'. If they can PROVE that what was being said is 'you'll get this contract if you make a donation' then fine but they are NOT saying that happened. And that law hinges entirely on the 'corrupt' part. That's a relatively high bar. ANd further - raising money is not a political 'campaign'. Desantis wasn't even running when this happened. If it was illegal they'd have been charged. Unless further evidence we havent' seen comes to light it does not appear to be illegal apparently. maybe some new info will be found and they will be charged later or something but it doesn't look that way right now.
  7. At the very beginning. As i noted previously - you had a choice, and you chose not to discuss it. And i don't think we're really discussing it now, i did come into this looking to share ideas but i realize that's a waste of time with both you specifically and with the left in general. We both know your 'discussion' here has been dishonest. The whole "but it's theatre' charade, pretending i didn't actually raise the issue of taxpayers funding it when i did many times, saying you don't care if violence increases in our society, etc. And what you're seeing in our society is people getting fed up with trying to be civil when the other side isn't interested. ANd for many the recourse is either violence or simply looking for political leadership that will shut down the stuff we don't like. Because yes - in fact we CAN cancel things you like. PP is going to be the next prime minister. Two major polls this week have him polling into majority territory. And the worst is yet to come on the economy and issues dear to canadians. And he listens to people like me, and people like me will be telling him that we're not interested in the dishonest games played by people like you, So yeah theatre funding can go on the block for chopping. Maybe we'll ask that the money go to support local gun ranges. A number of other things will likely go that way too. Just remember - you had a choice to have an honest conversation. But you choose not to, and not just with this conversation, but many i've seen you in. So when the other side stops talking and starts doing and doesn't want to hear you, remember that was a decision you made.
  8. Of course they would. THey'd exist just fine. If the municipality didn't fund them then they'd form a not for profit and donations and sponsorships from businesses would. My mom and grandfather had hockey and curling all their lives growing up in a little town in manitoba with maybe 50 people living in it and no 'municipal' money. Tell you what - lets do it and we'll see if hockey survives or 'drag queen thing training' does
  9. Well no it's not even close. The charges are spelled out. The evidence for those charges are not contained in the charges. Which tells me you haven't even read the charges.
  10. Not even close. No president i'm aware of with the possible exception of nixion has had anywhere remotely close to the level of investigation that trump did. And they not only investigated his presidential works but is personal life and every other thing they could possibly find grounds to prosecute on. And they CAUGHT hillary - everyone including comey admitted what she did was a crime. But they let her off with the lame excuse that they couldn't PROVE she intended to commit a crime. Except that crime didn't require mens rea and many many legal experts have noted that, not to mention how does someone in her position not know it's a crime. AND she didn't turn the docs over when told to. So nope - moving forward you'll see REAL investigation and charges. That's not an investigation. That's trump being an 1diot. You wait. Trump was told to back off from hillary because you don't go after high ranking politicians like that - but those days are now officially done. And what we'll see is every time the office changes hands to a new party the former pres will be investigated to hell and charged whenever possible. If he winds up having these charges thrown (and he might, there's a path for that) and he 'survives' this 'witch hunt' he will be insanely popular and will likely be the next pres. Hell if he's convicted he's still got an excellent chance of it. And then you can bet he'll be fully invested in appointing people to the doj and other positions to go after biden and hunter and that whole family and we'll hear screaming like you've never heard before.
  11. You have NO proof and NO KnOwLeDgE. Pretty much exactly the same thing. And you know it. And you know that hillary is basically identical to trump, except she illegally had the documents in the first place - not supposed to use a private email server for classified use. Why do you have to LIE about what the dems did?
  12. "Safe supply' Sounds good but it doesn't work. They're seeing that now in vncouver, where it's actually making the problems worse. Many medical professionals are speaking out against it with specific data and evidence and also noting that there's a serious effort to silence them. The national post did a huge expose on the problme but many others are reporting it too. It was a lofty idea but it just doesn't work. https://archive.ph/8WdxE Drug fail: The Liberal government's 'safer supply' is fuelling a new crisisw opioid crisis According to a number of addiction physicians, a significant portion of the safer supply drugs being freely distributed through government-funded programs are not actually being consumed by their intended recipients. Instead, these drugs are being sold on the black market at rock-bottom prices, typically to fund the ongoing purchase of illicit fentanyl. Safer supply programs do not curb the fentanyl market — they subsidize it.
  13. Nope, sorry liar. You did not. The 'intelligencer' is just a rag and that loser knows less than you do which i would have thought impossible. You never provide evidence -you just scream that others should. Typical leftie - do as i say not as i do.
  14. But if you return the originals they have no grounds for a search warrant. And the prosecution is claiming there IS a difference and that's why hillary didn't get dinged. Duh what you think he just had them stashed with his corvette for the pleasure the packaging gave him? I know you're stupid kid but c'mon, even YOU aren't that stupid. You mean when he got caught. Yeah - i suppose Not sure how that's better. Hillary didn't.
  15. I think they'll just cut budgets. Do something stupid - 10 percent off your budget. Say something even more stupid - 20 percent off. Say the definition of a woman is 'not a man', 25 percent off your budget and NO DESERT!! NOW GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!!
  16. Yes - with a web enabled tomato cannon that you can operate from home for only 5 dollars a tomato. Three 'rapid fire' eggs for 10 dollars. If we can find a way to charge justin beiber we can put a sizeable dent into the national debt with this.
  17. Yep - and they can be pointed to as a warning to others. It's more merciful than actually nailing them to the gates of the city but just as effective
  18. Way too many stupid gov't moves and questionable decisions to ever introduce it here. we've already got gov't people recommending assisted suicide as an alterative to medical treatment for military people - do we want to actually give them the power to make that decision themselves?!?!? I say we should be allowed to lock people up for life, no contact with the outside world other than your lawyer and no chance of parole and quietly wait out your life thank you. "Death by old age" if you will.
  19. https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/johns-hopkins-pulls-lesbian-definition-uproar-use-non-men-instead-wome-rcna89307 So for those who missed it, John Hopkins - a MEDICAL facility - changed their definition of lesbian to : A non-man attracted to non-men. this was an effort to be more inclusive to include non binary people. Unfortunately also it includes pretty much everything that's not a man, so squirrels are now lesbians i guess. not surprisingly, the lesbians and other womens' ....sorry - non mens rights groups had a major snit-fit. And this is the latest in the ongoing saga of trans rights bumping up against women and lesbian rights and those groups are starting to get pushy. Even JK Rowlings was allowed to comment on this without backlash, that's how serious it's gotten. We've literally gotten to the point where medical professionals define woman as 'Not a man'. That's a blackadder joke for god's sake.
  20. Yes but i like cutting funding for the arts and you don't get to cancel what i think is a good idea. You see Michael - that's why my idea of sitting down and having reasonable discussions looking for common ground and compromise makes more sense in the long run. But as you think that's not such a good idea. Which is fine. This works too. Anyway we're not talking about 'cutting funding' - the public can still directly fund whatever it thinks is worth it. We're just eliminating the middleman and making it a little more fair. Oh there'd be plenty of sports. Turns out canadians really do like sports and are more than happy to spend the money on keeping it going. that's the beauty of direct funding - everything people actually like will still be there. So lots of sports actually. AND you woudn't have to read about the outrage or be asked if you'd like to have rational conversations about issues or any of that nonsense. Yeah - pointing 'down' isn't fine. Businesses like 16 billion dollar battery factories? Hey i'm with you. But - one thing at a time i guess.
  21. The NDP launched an online petition calling for “abortion services” to be made “accessible to every Canadian,” suggesting that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government was insufficiently pro-abortion. The petition stated, “Many Canadians seeking abortion services can’t access them – this must change,” claiming, “in Canada many individuals seeking abortion services can’t access them,” with “only one hospital in six offers abortion.” The NDP complained, “some provinces refuse to cover the cost of surgical abortion outside hospitals” and “lack of access is even worse for people in rural areas and the North.” The previous week, the NDP released a list of “10 years of Justin Trudeau, 10 broken promises,” which charged the Liberal government with promising to “make reproductive health care more accessible,” and yet “only one in six hospitals provides abortion and those living in rural areas, especially on reserve, are forced to travel to access the care they need.” Welp - can open, worms everywhere The libs may find next election that they're the ones on the hotseat for abortion, with the conservtives saying 'we leave it to the provinces but we'll fund their health care better than you do" and the ndp saying "You promised but you are happy to deny women abortions by denying them service'.
  22. Pretty simple. If we can't control the funds and it's hurting our society then end it. Period. The easiest and most effective way is direct funding - members of the public can directly fund what they believe in and the gov't stays out of it. Nobody's saying "no more drag thing training'. The theatre can put out a go fund me and the public can decide if that kind of thing is worth the money. Super easy - and nobody funds things they don't agree with. Ahhh yes - you don't care about violence or kids being attacked. So you said my bad. but that's just proof that theres' people like you out there with no moral compass. Why on earth should anyone with moral values be forced to fund stuff you like? IF you like this kind of thing fund it yourself. That's the fairest way to do it.
  23. Well i'm with you - i could happily put a bullet in the brainpan of a badguy of this class and sleep like a baby that night. Hell i'd pay for the bullet myself But - my problem is that you should never give your gov't the power of life and death over the citizens. We can never be 'sure'. Even in these cases there's a chance someone forced them to say or do something and we don't know. At least if they're alive and we find out later they were innocent we can do something. Do we REALLY want the same people who screwed up our airports, customs and passports to be in charge of whether we live or die? I'd rather see imprisonment for life without chance of parole, but even that is "Too mean" for trudeau's judges apparently.
