In the us there is a very long standing tradition that you don't prosecute your political rivals. Because the president has so much control and power over the legal process by being able to make selections it could easily be abused to repress your opponents - and even if it's legit it could be seen that way and erode public confidence. I mean think about it - is nixon in jail? So unless the crime is REALLY REALLY bad they simply don't prosecute. That's why when trump got elected having campaigned on jailing hillary 2 days later (after he spoke to his justice) he dropped it and said she'd "been through enough". Trump has NEVER walked away from an enemy but he dropped this like a hot rock because all of this was explained to him. Biden is the first to break that rule, and i think now we're going to see every president who gets in will look to investigate and prosecute their predecessor from the other party.

Of course it isn't. It's a tounge in cheek response to a bad joke of a post. Managing the issue is easy. And someone with a quarter of a brain or more would have realized that. Unfortunately apparently that weeds you out LOLOL But hey - thanks for taking our online IQ test - your score is: Tree Sloth You can't make it worse than non existant. you can't go lower than zero in your ability to do something And it's !diotic to suggest that it would apply to the military. You'd fire the general if he said something that bad. Even if i had been serious it would obviously only apply to orgs that the gov't funds - not gov't orgs that they control. Did you think the military was a private organization that received funds from the gov't? You're an !diot

Ohhh poor little guy - are you butthurt again that you looked stupid in a few threads where you tried to pretend you have a brain? I understand. I love that you think that actually writing instead of just throwing out one liners is bad tho - you're quite right of course, none of the grown up intelligent men in history ever wrote a WHOLE paragraph when discussing things ROFLMAO!! Do you feel better now? You got your little hurt feelings off your chest? Feel all grown up? Will you be able to sleep at night again? Good boy.

You have plenty of LIES! Your LIES are USELESS without PROOF ! Sorry little robo-dolt, nobody believes your lies. Of course she did. And you've just proven you're a liar. Because you lie. Of course she did and ordered them deleted when she was told to produce them by subpoena. She was a criminal. But - the US has a tradition that you do not prosecute your political opponents, because that can lead to the perception (or the reality) that you're trying to illegally hold power by suppressing your opposition. I disagree with that but it's always been the way - only dictators throw their opponents in jail is the feeling. Biden just threw that out the window.

I'm literally responding to an insult you threw out there Here's how pathetic you are - you engage in conversation and then when you feel like you're not winning you toss out an insult or two to make yourself feel better. THEN - when the person insults you back you freak out and have a hissy fit. Perhaps elementary school playgrounds would be a better venue for you? Sigh. I'll ignore your lack of knowledge of Rome, you've completely missed all of that, and make this so simple even you could understand.... (but damn you're stupid - go read a book about rome). It was HIS money. He owned it. He didn't have to spend it on public works, he could just as easily have bought hookers and booze. That was his personal money - money HE "earned" sacking the jews. So it's private money. Not public. It was built with PRIVATE money. So a successful wealthy individual chooses to spend his money to build a sports arena. Doesn't get to be a better example than that. To listen to you talk if a general today got a paycheque everything he bought with that money is a public purchase. But hey - thanks for proving me right that you'd try to focus on some point you didn't understand but thought you could win Ya done looking stupid? Yeah - his money. Not public money. Not money owned by the people. He took an army, went out and made a craptonne of money, came back and built a sports arena.... WITH HIS OWN MONEY. Private money. The colosseum was ALWAYS a private venture. No "public" money involved. And sure - for him it was 'advertising', it made people feel good about him as emperor. JUST LIKE MODERN BUSINESSES TODAY ADVERTISE BY DOING THINGS THE PUBLIC LIKES. So what have we learned. Colosseum - private money. Built to improve the reputation of the person who put up the private money just like corporations improve their reputation today by sponsoring sports events and teams. And they would do it today for the same reasons as then. To look good. Sigh - ya done looking stupid yet? -
Sigh. It started before the cold war was even a thing. Pax Americana[1][2][3] (Latin for "American Peace", modeled after Pax Romana and Pax Britannica; also called the Long Peace) is a term applied to the concept of relative peace in the Western Hemisphere and later in the world after the end of World War II in 1945, when the United States[4] became the world's dominant economic, cultural, and military power. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pax_Americana Also https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Pax Americana Pax Americana : American peace —used for the period of relative tranquility from circa 1945 to the present day in regions to which U.S. power has extended Now - i know it's hard for you to read when there isn't any pictures, but you could at least TRY to look things up before you display your lack of knowledge? Is that really asking too much?
-
I'm sure it would seem that way to an !diot. We can't do it now. Justin defunded the military with even less reason But of course, children like you aren't expected to know such things. This is more of a grown up conversation. I'll msg you if something more suitable to your intellect gets discussed, like how lego works

Safe Third Country Agreement is constitutional, Supreme Court rules The court recognized the risk that refugees face, but said there were safety valves present in the legislation. Gauri Sreenivasan, co executive director at the Canadian Council for Refugees, called on the federal government to withdraw from the agreement anyway. “The U.S. is not a safe country for refugees. And our organisations have brought overwhelming evidence that sending people who are seeking safety here back to the U.S. causes serious violation of rights. Rights that are protected both under the Canadian Charter (of Rights and Freedoms) and international law.” She added, “Today’s decision from the Supreme Court has mixed results for refugees and refugee rights in Canada. But nothing has changed today in terms of the dangers that are faced by refugees at the border. We continue to call on the government to fully and immediately withdraw from the safe third country agreement.” Nice to see that we still retain SOME sovereignty. This would appear to be another example of politicians and/or courts backing away a little from the traditional hard core left wing stance they've had in the last 15 - 20 years or so.

Not everyone. Just you. Turns out you're too dumb and need it explained slowly. Everyone else already gets it ' Yes. Because that's a thing that happens and can happen more. Here's some examples across the us and canada - each of which kinda proves my previous point about your intelligence https://www.thestar.com/business/2021/06/15/heres-a-list-of-canadian-nhl-arena-name-sponsors.html Sponsored and built with private money https://www.scotiabankarena.com/venue-information/about And from around the world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sponsored_sports_venues Yep - private money. It's actually a perfect example. A person raised an army - sacked a city - took the money and built a coliseum. These days it tends to be corporate interests but it's just the same Again - i refer you to point one. I will now await your usual attempt to deflect from the fact you said something stupid by attempting to focus the conversation on some minute detail you think you can win -
Only an !diot would think that. OH! Right... Of course. Sorry. Blah blah blah whine whine cry cry orange man bad. got it. Yawn. As i said - Democrats like you always say that the current contender is the worst person since hitler and the world will end if he gets in. It's just what dems do. You're drooling again.

It is massive and growing. The parlimentary budget officer did a report on this. The average person will get back 1500 dollars a year less than they pay. The vast majority of people will get back less than they paid to one degree or another. And that doesn't account for the gst charged on the tax - and it also doesn't account for the fact that it's a compounding tax so consumers are already paying for the tax in the markup before they even pay for the tax on fuels and such. The majority of the tax revenues will not be refunded.
-
Proof i know more than you And i've already posted the proof. Read the report. Lots are getting free drugs and even within that subgroup they're going up Yes - people are selling the free drugs and buying the dangerous ones. That's the point But you obviously care less about the lives of these people than you do virtue signalling and pretending. Kinda sad.

Then your issue wasn't a lack of clarity, it was a lack of understanding what had previously stated. The point was they used to. But don't need to. -

You never miss a chance to look like an !diot do you "Social Planning is stupid because if there's no where for people to live they can live where they choose to live. DERP!" A lot of people can't "choose' now. THere aren't enough homes so prices are so high that they can't afford to live anywhere. Rents are becoming unaffordable and are still going up. That's becoming a serious problem. Sure - the conservatives are all out there demanding people get stuff for free Everyone knows that. Looks to me like the real problem is that too many Canadians don't think. Some of them post here If we dont' get very serious very fast about the crisis in our infrastructure vs our population growth, it will get to a point where it cannot be fixed in any practical time frame and that will result in very significant social unrest.
