  1. It's considered a good measure by anyone with knowledge. If the economy overall adds thousands of 'mcjobs' or temporary foreign worker jobs it CAN make it look like the gdp per hour worked is going down, but in reality that's not a competativeness issue. Also a shift in the type of jobs (manufacturing vs professional services etc) can cause those numbers to fluctuate Also depending on how it's billed people doing 'gig work' may not show up as 'hourly'. Generally when it IS reflected it's at a lower value. GDP per capita offers a more stable reference that accounts for the value created in total by the total population. It also is a good measure of quality of life. Which is why i used it. Now you can make an argument that using a completely different figure as you did has benefit for whatever reason you want to put out there, But you CANNOT deny that you used something completely different and then claimed i was wrong. Which means that what you said was completely false. You absolutely lied. You tried to claim that I said something I didn't say and ignored what I did say So no matter what else you want to say you've just admitted that you were a liar and that I was right in what I said I sure wish you would try harder, it'd be nice if we could have a conversation where you didn't look like a complete twat in the first paragraph Oh and side note, alberta's gdp per hour fell too. Sowweee.
  2. Anyone who is still shooting videos in their car because they think it makes them look authentic and sincere in this day and age is a complete loser
  3. I think his point was that he didn't say anything when Biden was clearly not on his way to full blown dementia but had arrived at it and checked into his room. And trump is not showing signs of dementia. I know the left is desperate to make that argument to cover for the fact that they allowed an actually dementia inflicted Biden to stay in power for at least 3 years after it became obvious. The trump isn't showing signs of dementia at all
  4. Nonsense. He's never stayed on topic when since he was 50. And that's really not how cognitive decline works exactly. It could be the sign of a shortening attention span but that's not the same as cognitive decline. Neither of those statements is true But they were both amusing so thanks Absolutely true. That's one of the reasons that you would actually need to put a hard cap on age. It will always be the elderly in the states who become president as thing stand now. Those are the people with the connections to bring in the big bucks
  5. Sorry but there's absolutely nothing a democrat supporter could say with regards to trump's mental decline that will have any validity after they let Biden set the bar so high I mean you were arguing that he was absolutely fine for how long?
  6. And it was a bad script to begin with
  7. The legitimate problem at the democrats have selling that narrative is they set the bar so freaking high with Joe Biden but by comparison trump seems as lucid.as a 20 year old. There's just nothing that the left can say at this moment in time about a president not having his faculties that's going to sound remotely believable. I don't see any signs of dementia with trump but I do see the occasional little hiccup that I've always associated with old age and the generally declining mental state that frequently accompanies it. I wouldn't say he's non-functional at all or even close but the simple fact of the matter is the man his age is not thinking is clearly as he did when he was 40. I really do believe there should be an age limit to being president
  8. I think you forget that the feds play a significant role in our forest management as well And more importantly I think you'll find that we had forestry prior to 2017. And the management problems that we have today probably stem for farther back than just the current MVP government although they're pretty horrible too. Not that I would call our previous liberal government a liberal government in the truest sense of the word but they certainly had that element in them as well
  9. LOL Hilarious as usual you have to lie to try to make your point I never said anything about "labour" productivity. At all. Can you show where i did? i said produktiv, which includes lavour but also a number of other factors. I showed that our gdp per capita is declining against the us tremendously and that's the best indicator of over all productivity LOL once again you show up and declare victory by proving SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY that nobody mentioned LOLOL Well it's sad to see your English skills haven't improved, how are those math lessons going?
  10. For 150 days . During that time he's going to have to convince enough republicans to stick with it and that's what his concern obviously is. A lot of republicans are concerned about losing their seats and states that are significantly impacted by some of these tariffs Still that's a fair minute of time to work with and as long as he can find something that each of them want he should be able to negotiate support
  11. They did and there was. But as usual you can't actually make an argument you just simply flail your hands around demanding that left is right and up is down and black is white and then get yourself killed in the next zebra crossing
  12. If they were false you could refute them. But you can't Sounds like you are the one trying to soothe yourself to sleep not me You were the one that brought trump up you tard And of course trump is dealing with china. Childish of you to pretend otherwise
  13. I knew you'd lie about it. Every time you accuse somebody of something it's always an admission with you. CNN and NBC and a bunch of others have had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in damages for lying. They even got caught manufacturing and faking their stories and fox news never got caught for that
  14. Not doing this with you again Robo Smith, you know you're a liar you know you're lying we know you're lying obviously you're okay with being known as a liar
  15. So far this is shaping up to be a big nothing burger. No deals have been made, us hasn't been written out of anything, nobody's actually writing anything yet.
  16. It is an honestly even you should be condemning this I know you will do anything to defend your beloved left-wing friends but this is terrible. It is. Organize well enough to steal elections and stay in power You guys make trump look like an honest man
  17. I can appreciate the distinction but at this point I think it's obvious that he lied. I'm quite certain that he realized there was a very strong chance that he would not be able to get a deal. If he was the opposition and made that promise and gained government I'd have more sympathy but he honestly had full access to all the negotiation information beforehand. He must have known there was an excellent chance that he would not be able to get a deal and yet he promised that he would Almost nothing. Certainly nothing of any value. They legalize dope, that was the only positive thing they did Our world reputation was way down, our economy was severely trashed, canadians hate each other more than they have in many many decades, we lost trade instead of gaining any, separatism which was absolutely dead under harper flared back to life with strength. We lost freedoms and the greatest canadian human rights violations since world war II was pulled when he illegally declared the emergency act and unlawfully seized people's assets He borrowed more money than every other single prime minister before him combined and they're looking at lapping that again with carney who was his advisor. There are no accomplishments. He literally made canada worse in almost every way
  18. This isn't actually true. Nobody actually signed a deal, they're all memorandums of understanding and intents. Everybody can back out of their deals no problem That's some poor reporting even for them
  19. Well we've been over this, that's not true. NBC and CNN have both had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars for lying
  20. They lost, and well I know that every team is going to lose sometime games this is one that they just really shouldn't have lost.
  21. That's what you say whenever you know I'm right. I accept your admission of defeat Awww..... wow you mist REALLY have thought i was right . Nope, right and that's why you couldn't refute it Nope. We actually have been keeping pace with the us and were about number 3 in the world right up till about 2017. Then it started to go sideways Nope. That's all pretty much bullshit. GDP per capita which is one of the main measures of productivity has been climbing steadily for most countries. And wages of reflected that, in fact in Canada prior to 2015 real wages have climbed at about 1% higher than inflation. Which means every year people on average had more money to spend even after taking inflation into account This is the only thing he's doing kiddo. And it's a 15-year study And guess what, we treat cancer patients today. We don't wait 15 years to treat them. So why is the government waiting 15 years to deal with this problem Very obviously I know considerably more than you The economy has gotten considerably worse since carney took over. Nobody disputes that, well nobody's sane. Some argue that he needs more time to be able to fix anything but nobody argues that the economy has gotten worse. In fact not only has our economy gotten worse but we're at the absolute bottom of the G7 by a mile. This is all been posted before. Lying to yourself won't change this And you are just out and out lying when you claim that oil companies have the regulatory system they want. They have come right out and said and no uncertain terms that they will not operate under these regulatory conditions and many industry experts have explained exactly why You're a liar. Which would make you an average liberal except for the fact that the person you lie to most is yourself. And that's sad You need to wake up and start being honest with yourself. If you need to lie to make your point it's not a good point. And I mean some of those were pretty massive Whoppers like claiming that the oil industry is really happy and excited about the current regulatory circumstances. There's a tanker band and an anti oil pipeline Bill still in place at this moment
  22. Are you guys but like it or not the Americans won in both women's and men. Our athletes severely let us down. At a time when we needed a bit of hope they fumbled it and gave us nothing. If it weren't for the curling this would have been a complete team blowout basically. Very shameful performance. And it's not like they weren't out playing the Americans a little bit they just couldn't make their opportunities happen Two. Our women lost as well to the Americans This is one of our worst Olympic years. Might as well call it. it is what it is
  23. I don't know how much of a blow it was to trump's tariff plans. He has other options and he's pursuing them. But obviously, he took it very, very personally. I'm a strange thing is he seems to be trying to punish somebody with he's new tariffs, but it's not like it was the other nations or the other party that ruled against him We will see what happens. He's going to need some support from the house in order to carry on long-term and that's the way it should be.
  24. Sorry kiddo I know it hurts but that was his only response So you're saying that not only did carney not have a very good response, he had absolutely no response and it's just letting the economy go on autopilot I love that you think that somehow makes him look better It is whether he ordered it or not It doesn't matter if it's bad or good. We have a problem right this very second and have for several years now. This has been commented on by economists at great length. Thanks to many of Justin Trudeau's policies we are severely underproductive So any response that takes 15 years to produce is of no value to us to solve the problem even if that report produces miraculous work He has done nothing. Not a single thing And it shows. Money is fleeing Canada faster than it ever has. Our trade deficit is going up. Our job numbers are worse. Our GDP growth is worse. Every metric you could possibly choose is worse. Our own Canadian oil companies are saying they will not invest in Canada because of the current regulatory environment. Inter provincial trade has actually gotten worse since he took over. Tariffs have gone up. It looks like we aren't getting a trade deal with united states or if we do it's going to be a horrible one. All he has done is make it worse. He hasn't done a single thing to make productivity or the economy better. Not one thing. And now his response to an immediate productivity crisis is a 15-year study Wake up. If Canada cannot afford you to be blind and stupid for another 10 years like you were with Trudeau
