I never know which is more alarming, the way Trump brazenly lies and expects that the obvious lies will fool his followers, or the fact that he's right, and you're all happy to believe them, no matter how absurd. Allow me to help. Even if it were remotely possible that Trump's close allies and advisors kept Project 2025 secret from him (of course they didn't), then the second it became a noteworthy campaign issue getting significant press coverage, his campaign staff would have taken him through point-by-point. He absolutely knows what's in it. And you should know better too

You're not even a good liar. Harris opened up a significant lead after the debates. It's only narrowed again in the last two weeks. And yes, I think people loving their lawns is an appropriate contrast to lies about immigrants eating people's pets. Sane vs insane. Love vs hate. Harris vs Trump. --Glad you mentioned it.

Lol. The moderators had nothing to do with Trump's rambling nonsense answers and inability to articulate coherent answers. You want to mock Harris about the quality of thought and speech off prompter, when Trump is far, far worse. But please, keep whining about moderators having the audacity to correct lies about pet-eating immigrants. Because, yeah, that's the problem, not the pathological liar who made the claim. How dare they point out basic reality? 🙄 Keep at it. Slandering a stranger with your made-up nonsense makes you look awesome.

Sorry, loser. Most of us saw the debates. In the first there were two muddled old men. In the second there was one muddled old fool and a woman who was clear and articulate at most times and played her opponent like a fiddle. "They're eating the dogs, the people that came in, they're eating the cats."

You are completely delusional. Nobody does insane nonsense like the person you want to be president. His speech at the Detroit Economic Club this week might be the new high/low point for a human who not tripping balls. Trump is just a babbling old man, sooooo crazy he makes Biden's debate performance look sharp. It makes his "sharks vs electrocution" riff seem like a reasonable question. If you haven't watched it, and fancy yourself a consniseur of word salad you really owe it to yourself. Elon's rockets landing on the moon. The beautiful little circles...🤣 -
You guys are not making predictions, you're making wishes. There is no data to support these fantasies. Trump would trade poll numbers with her in a heartbeat. She'll almost certainly win the popular vote and has an easier path to a close EC victory. Doesn't mean it's not a close race or that Trump can't win, but there's no reason to expect it.

Yes, you suddenly invented the concept of "word salad" and and this is the first time ever that anyone mentioned that Trump is an incoherently rambling ldiot. You're an innovator and an inspiration! 🙄 -
Plus you probably have strip malls in your own area. Save the trip.

Zuckerberg admits censorship.
Hodad replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
If I recall, they didn't even explicitly ask Facebook to censor. They presented the fact misinformation and disinformation were a dangerous problem and Facebook was a responsible corporate citizen and took steps to resolve it. Twitter did the same. Responsible moderation is an important part of running a platform. And abandoning that responsibility is how Musk has destroyed 80% of the value of Twitter. -

Musk is a deep believer in free speech and non-moderation--except when beliefs are inconvenient. -

Yet not even close to Trump's salad bar. Maybe just give up on that line of attack while you're backing the all-time nonsense king. -

You already did "run away." You refused to answer a simple question and then rage-typed an unhinged rant to effectively fend off any rational conversation. Even ^^this reply was so frothing-at-the-mouth ragey that you lost the ability to spell or write coherently. Go take some deep breaths before you stroke out. -

True, you don't have to. Also, you can't. It's not a defensible position. Hence why you cannot defend it. The only reason to radically skew the power of an individual citizen to select the POTUS is for cynical partisan expedience. Right now any candidate--of any party--only has to pay attention to 7 or so states. Which is bullshit. How about the person who wants to lead the whole nation should be required to earn the vote of most of the people in the nation? Should have to pay attention to the whole country, and every voter in it? -

You didn't answer, so I'm taking that as an acknowledgement. To be clear, he is indisputably a felon and a con man, and was found liable for "rape" by a jury in civil court. And I do get a sense of satisfaction when justice is served to bad people. But in terms of pointing it out on a forum or in a conversation no, I don't get pleasure from any of that. I am disgusted. I find it appalling. And what I really mean if I say those words is "This man is awful and repulsive. Look at the facts. He is all of those things. Why aren't you appalled as well? Do better!" -

So can you answer the question plainly or not? Do you not take pleasure in the fact that Trump's political viability annoys those you view as political enemies? And sorry, but two Republicans (or Republican-ish) kooks have tried to shoot Trump. One a registered Republican who wanted to shoot Trump for reasons that are not clear. The other not registered with either party, but a self professed Trump voter in 2016 and active supporter of Haley and Ramaswamy in the primaries this year, who was angry about Trump specifically over his position on Ukraine.
