The many problems with Electric vehicles.

I tried to help you educate yourself and you didn’t watch the video. What are you so afraid of? It won’t bite you. Just start it and see what you think. -
The many problems with Electric vehicles.

Here’s your problem: You want to be right, so you make up imaginary problems and pretend they’re unsolvable. An EV draws about the same electricity as an air conditioner. Is anybody screaming that air conditioners don’t work, or we shouldn’t have them? You can find an excellent analysis of the impact of EV’s on the grid in a YouTube from Engineering Explained. This is an exceptional, non-political video. You can learn a lot from it. https://youtu.be/7dfyG6FXsUU?si=BhPmtMqtLIiyo_un -
The many problems with Electric vehicles.

If there’s no sun, the energy suppliers increase output from natural gas turbines. However, when there’s no sun, people do not use air conditioning, and so electric consumption is reduced anyway. -
To you MAGA QANON cult followers, everything has a secret meaning! Only the special ones can decode the secrets! It’s our special club! KOFEFE. To the rest of us, the little shlt said what he said. He was given a mega-softball question, to give him every chance to just say, “Of course I won’t be a dictator!” But he didn’t say it. And he has not denied it or backed down from it. And to the point, if someone said to him, “You didn’t mean that you would literally kill someone for a sandwich, right?” and his answer was, “I’d kill someone for a sandwich on Day one!”… then he’d probably kill someone for a sandwich. Let’s put it another way: Donald Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and get away with it. Ha ha, he’s so cute… but now, practically every day, he makes speeches saying that as President, he should be allowed to commit as many crimes as he wants, any crimes he wants, with total immunity, no exceptions. So…. Yeah, he was serious about the whole “shoot somebody on 5th Avenue” thing.

Senior Trump White House Advisor Peter Navarro was sentenced to four months in Federal prison for defying Congressional subpoenas. Navarro tried to use a claim of “executive privilege” to avoid prosecution for defying a Congressional subpoena to testify after Trump left office, regarding the January 6 insurrection. Enjoy Club Fed, Pete! That’s what you get for blindly following the orders of Cult-Leader Trump. “I guess what bothers me ultimately is that here we are after a year and a half plus and you still want to suggest to me that this is a political prosecution.,” US District Judge Amit Mehta said during the sentencing hearing, raising his voice. “When the evidence is completely to the contrary.” “You are not a victim. You are not the object of a political prosecution,” the judge said. “These are the circumstances of your own making.” https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/25/politics/peter-navarro-contempt-congress-sentence/index.html

NH allows independents to vote in primaries. What we need to learn from New Hampshire and elsewhere, is how many true Republican voters are “never Trump” and how many Independent voters are “never Trump.” My own opinion is that reasonable voters can clearly see that Trump’s presidency was disastrous and Biden’s was merely boring. Boring… but clearly effective.

You have the freedom to disagree. So don’t have an abortion. But 70% of American voters support a woman’s right to choose, and even Donald Trump knows this and he’s backpedaled over abortion restrictions countless times. Because Trump has no morals, he just says whatever he thinks people want to hear.

Trump: Nikki Haley Responsible for Jan 6 Attack
Rebound replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Of course children benefit from having a dad at home, but if it’s in an impoverished urban area, that father won’t know how to advise his kid to be upwardly mobile. He won’t have contacts to get him a good job, or get into a good school. Those are the things Robo mentioned. Sadly, we have complex problems, and complex problems don’t have simple solutions. -

If Joe Biden is an ldiot, how comes you aren’t President? I mean, it should be so easy if he can do it. -
TRUMP’S PERFORMANCE: The Republican primaries
Rebound replied to sharkman's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I’d like to see the primaries go through at least Super Tuesday. I hate the idea that only voters in Iowa and New Hampshire decide for the entire nation. That’s not how a democracy should function. -

When you can think of no intelligent response, you fall back to name-calling. That’s when I know you’ve lost the argument. -
Those “fiscally conservative” Floridians are at it again! ”A push by some Florida Republicans to use taxpayer money to help pay for former President Donald Trump’s multiple legal battles quickly fell apart after Gov. Ron DeSantis threatened to veto the legislation. State Sen. Ileana Garcia, a Miami Republican who endorsed Trump’s reelection, has filed a bill for this year’s legislative session that could allow the state to hand out up to $5 million to the embattled Republican front-runner for president. The legislation has already won the endorsement from Jimmy Patronis, the state’s Republican chief financial officer, who for months has been publicly calling for taxpayers to pay to defend Trump from criminal charges.” Blah, blah, blah… Politicians spending your money to win favor and get themselves Federal appointments. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/01/22/florida-trump-legal-bills-00136984

Bidenomics: DOW Hits All-Time High!
Rebound replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You’re utterly, absolutely, completely FOS. Anyone can see that Donald Trump racked up the largest debts in our nation’s history. That is clear. With no support for increasing taxes, and debt interest payments increasing because of his predecessor’s obscene debt spending, it’s no wonder that America cannot possibly balance its budget. -
Why? Good question. Why is the Heritage Foundation putting words in Biden’s mouth? Why haven’t the Republicans passed immigration laws which will let the President actually stop illegal immigration? When is the GOP going to govern and give the President laws that will work? They keep promising and then not delivering.

No, the Democratic Party is not a cult. -

Your deficit chart doesn’t even show Biden deficits, you bonehead. Budgets get passed for the coming year. In 2020, with Trump in office, Congress passed the budget for 2021. Your chart doesn’t show the 2022-2023 deficits. -
Joe Biden’s Provocative Weakness

Trump was talk talk talk and no action. Biden took action and brought our soldiers home. DONE. The Afghanis had twenty years to get their act together and defend themselves. They didn’t. Enough it enough… but try bombing us again, Afghanistan, and the bunker busters will return.
