  1. Back dishing out more stupid, huh? Of course any industrial operation consumes resources and creates pollution. Duh. The goal here is to maintain or improve our lifestyle, not make us all ride bicycles. In your analysis of environmental destruction, did you compare the impact of solar and wind to the impacts of coal, nuclear power and natural gas-generated electricity?
  2. You mean dressed up in their cosplay Larp militia outfits?
  3. You obviously didn’t view the video. Cause you wouldn’t want facts to get in the way of your relentless dream of destroying the environment.
  4. It is pretty simple, it’s just not built into today’s cars. I’ve worked in technology for decades, and it’s remarkable how stupid some people can be about it. “I can’t do it right this instant” does not mean, “It’s impossible.” And what is a REALLY simple problem? Getting electricity to flow out of a battery. Yes, it’s very expensive to do in your home right now with available products, but it’s already being specified into the next generation of electric car charging standards.
  5. Did you do the math? It’s not very difficult to see that you’re absolutely wrong. Again… you are making shit up and treating it as fact. This video is outstanding. His whole channel is amazing, but he walks you though the grid issues step by step. i
  6. Yes it absolutely is. The west coast wildfires of the past two years were by far the largest in history. The destruction of New Orleans, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas were unprecedented. Nothing has happened like that since the Great Flood. Now, there was the Chicago Fire. There used to be lots of fires. How comes that doesn’t happen anymore? Cause of the Gubmint, that’s why! There are all kinds of bureaucratic standards required for construction which prevent mass fires. And they work.
  7. Let’s just begin here: Stop the lying. Just… dwell in truth. “California” didn’t tell people to stop charging their cars. The electric company ASKED people not to charge between 4pm and 9pm for two days. So STOP LYING. Integrity is earned in drops and lost in buckets, and turning a voluntary two day request into “California warns people to go easy on their car charging” is just an outright lie. I’ve pointed out many times that wind provides nearly ten percent of US electric power TODAY. I’ve pointed out many times that we do not need to increase grid capacity to support electric vehicle charging, because nearly all of it occurs at night, and it’s roughly equivalent to running an air conditioner… and you aren’t calling for the abolition of air conditioners. I’ve pointed out that even coal-powered electricity to power a car produces lower carbon emissions than burning gasoline in a car, mile for mile. Now, when we talk about this destruction, what do we mean? We mean the permanent destruction of earth to support its current population. Earth itself doesn’t give a damn. Earth will keep on spinning and life will continue to evolve. BUT every population center on Earth is close to a body of water, making it susceptible to destruction from catastrophic weather events. We have predicted mass melting of Antarctic ice and it’s happening. As it continues sea levels will rise. Ocean currents will shift. Food does not come from factories. It comes from farms. Massive farms. We cannot possibly shift all agriculture to new farmland to sustain our populations. The net result is that MMGW will impact populations of hundreds of millions of people. They will migrate. What’s America gonna do? Build a wall? A wall that can stop 100 million people? We couldn’t even build enough bullets to stop that many people. Republicans we’re too slow to react to the realities of WW II. Only after the war was over did they wake up. MMGW is an actual problem already. And slowing it is possible. It’s not a bunch of BS. It’s not going to destroy the economy, it will save it. If America leads in alternative energy tech, we will have abundant, cheap energy. That means more industry and cheaper production. We can do this. Tough shit for oil companies, but they’re a bunch of jackasses. They’re selling typewriters and refusing to invest in computers. The CD came out and they want to keep selling vinyl. Technology changes, and either they adapt or they die. It’s just that simple.
  8. In that case, he’s about to get a hell of a lot stronger.
  9. Hey Loser, you were wrong. You said the Fat Man wasn’t charged with any crimes. He was. Suck it.
  10. Every one of these major MMGW events carry a price tag of over $20 billion. And we’ve had dozens of them and we will continue to for decades to come.
  11. Only a complete nitwit would decide that’s true because you think so. And just to state things clearly, I don’t know if you’re a nitwit, you probably are not, but your thinking and reasoning here are absolutely nitwit level or lower. Nearly ten percent of all electricity in the US is produced by wind TODAY. Can we make that twenty or thirty percent? Definitely! Absolutely! One hundred percent? Who said anything about that? We don’t need to replace all electricity generation in America, but replacing the 20% coal powered plants with wind and then building additional capacity with wind would be fine. But you don’t automatically do that. You site wind where it’s feasible. They do studies and calculate wind current and how many days per year, etc. The Great Plains? Plenty of wind. Tornado Alley? Maybe not feasible; I don’t know. Are we “destroying America” by replacing coal with wind? No, we’re destroying America by continuing consumption that’s causing hurricanes and wildfires nationwide. Not to mention all the asthma from coal particulates. And, by the way, this “Grid can’t support electric cars” trope is total bullshit. It’s absolutely bullshit. Cars take the same electric load as an air conditioner, but they take it at night. Are you anti-air conditioner? And it’s very simple to create a time-based charging system which not only saves the consumer a LOT of money, but also helps the Li battery last longer. And you can do that with ZERO impact on the grid. ZERO. The only time electric cars affect the grid is when they are fast charged, which is usually during the day. But EV’s aren’t currently designed to be fast charged regularly, only when needed for long trips.
  12. If you had the intelligence to know the facts, you’d be flabbergasted at how stupid you are for posting that moronic meme. 1) MMGW is a real crisis which is upon us today. 2) Coal is only 20% of US electrical generation 3) Even when the electricity comes from coal, gross carbon emissions are lower. You’re the people destroying America, and you’re just too damn stupid to realize it. Either that, or you’re committed to evil. One or the other. Most likely stupid. You’re just too stupid to realize that all-time high temperatures around the world, catastrophic hurricanes destroying New Orleans, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, etc., massive, unprecedented ice storms shutting down Texas, largest-ever wildfires over and over… each of these events cost over $20 billion and you think renewable energy is too expensive and it just makes people feel good. Not to mention wars in Iraq. Man, you are just an idiot.
  13. West said he’d never been charged with a crime. He was. Twice. And he’s about to be charged with a lot more crimes. He plead the Fifth 480 times in one day in New York. According to Trump, only the guilty plead the Fifth.
  14. Was he charged with crimes? Yes, he was.
  15. He was impeached twice. Each impeachment was a charge of “high crime.”
  16. Who was President? Trump. Did he try to dig up dirt on Hunter Biden? Yes. Did he ask his own DOJ, as well as Ukraine, to dig up dirt on H Biden? Yes. Was Trump able to prosecute H Biden in any way? No. If Trump couldn’t even get so much as an indictment, why would you expect Biden to?
  17. "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily”
  18. These banks are publicly traded. I have 401K’s, so I’m a victim.
  19. Like… Lindsey Graham? No, wait… you’re talking about men who don’t have sex with other men, either. Losers…
  20. Bird deaths from wind turbines are inconsequential, according to the Sierra Club: “Estimates of up to a million or more birds a year are killed by turbines in the US but that is far exceeded by collisions with communications towers (6.5 million); power lines, (25 million); windows (up to 1 billion); and cats (1.3 to 4.0 billion) and those lost due to habitat loss, pollution and climate change (American Bird Conservancy, Nature). Even if there were twenty times more wind turbines, enough to supply the US with electricity, the number of birds killed, assuming no improvement in wind turbine design, would be about 10 million--still far less than most other causes of bird deaths.” https://www.sierraclub.org/michigan/wind-turbines-and-birds-and-bats If you care so much about bird deaths (you don’t give a crap about bird deaths, but..) do you want to outlaw windows and cats, which kill many thousands times more birds than windmills?
  21. Well maybe the dumb SOB shouldn’t have kept government documents at home. Maybe he should have returned them when asked. He chose to break the law. He chose to ignore his own lawyers. So tough crap. Break the law, face the consequences.
  22. Wind can power the United States. It provides 9% of total electricity nationwide and there’s no reason why that 9% can’t become 20, 30, or 50 percent. Even a complete nimwit can understand that we won’t simply decommission every other electric plant at once, and we don’t need to reach zero carbon emissions, either. We just simply grow and grow the wind utilization and decommission the dirtiest plants (i.e., coal) as we bring more online.
  23. You’re full of nonsense. They were ASKED not to charge their cars between 4 and 9pm… and most people don’t anyway… it’s better to charge at night. In fact, it’s best to charge right before you drive, so use a timer to top up starting at 2 or 3am for longest car life.
  24. Here’s a big list of fraud cases won by the DOJ. Dershowitz is clearly wrong; I guess he gets paid to be a talking head. There’s no law that says a plaintiff in a fraud suit must be the entity defrauded, as these successful prosecutions illustrate. https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/prosecuting-fraud
  25. It’s a shame that Donald Trump is a criminal.
