Darwin Strikes Again....

Wind makes up 6% of California’s power, and that number will grow and grow. And I see one farm after another building windmills. And Holland reclaimed 40% of their land using windmills. They work. They’re beautiful. And they don’t cause cancer. -
I don’t have to bank on it. Trump is a criminal. He commits crimes over and over. He’s being investigated or charged in New York, Florida, Georgia, Washington and perhaps elsewhere. None of these cases can be brought without any basis. These things are happening because of what the man did: TRUMP KNEW his suite was 10,000 sq ft TRUMP KNEW not to take classified documents with him to Florida TRUMP KNEW not to call elections officials in Georgia TRUMP KNEW the election wasn’t stolen Now he gets to pay and pay.

Your articles have nothing to do with unavailability of wind. They have to do with blade recycling and a solar program that didn’t get a permit. You think a coal, nuclear or gas plant would have an easier time getting a permit? California is a massive state. There’s always wind blowing somewhere. America was discovered by wind powered ships. The Pilgrims came to America on wind powered ships. The America’s Cup is raced with wind powered boats. -
But when I pointed out a hard fact: Trump “estimated” that his penthouse was 30,000 square feet, when it was only 10,000 square feet; that was not an estimate. Trump’s business is real estate and in real estate you don’t screw up the square footage like that by accident. And you retorted to that with an insult. My FACT beats your 2nd grade INSULT. I win, you lose, and so will Trump, because you can plainly see that he committed fraud. It’s right there, plain as day.

“Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.” Donald Trump, 7/16/2016 https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/donald-trump-sentence/

Convicted fraudster and accused criminal Donald Trump yesterday told Sean Hannity that a President can declassify information, “even by thinking about it.” “There doesn’t have to be a process, as I understand it,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity. Prosecutors have said that about 100 of the documents taken from Mar-a-Lago were marked classified, including some labeled top secret. “If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified,” the former president added. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2022/09/22/trump-hannity-declassify-documents/) Unfortunately for him, two US Federal Appeals Courts have ruled otherwise. And according to Trump’s former attorney Eric Herschman, Trump was informed that the Classified materials did need to be returned to the FederaL government. The “As I understand it” line will need a lot of explaining if Trump is to avoid criminal charges. Apparently, his “understanding” is based on his own opinion, since his own attorney advised him otherwise and surely others explained as well.

Easily. California has one or two blackout events a year during peak heat season. There’s no question that an additional 20 or 30% capacity would eliminate that problem. And wind power is extremely granular. Individual windmills can be shut down on command, so production can be very finely tuned to consumption, which creates huge challenges with other forms of production. If you ever see a field of windmills and only 20% are turning, it’s because the operators are generating only what they need to consume. As you probably don’t know, all power placed on the grid must be consumed by something. The grid cannot store power. -
It will go nowhere because you say so, or because you know something we don’t know? Maybe you think Trump is some kind of superhero who cannot lose a lawsuit? Remember the time he lost a $25 million fraud lawsuit over Trump University? And then he lost the right to run a charity because of his charity fraud? The man has been a criminal for decades. He just is; that’s how crooks are. Don’t ask me why. He inherited over $160 million, so heaven knows he didn’t need to resort to all of these cons, but that’s how he’s made up. People would have taken his Trump “University” classes without his lies and false promises. I guess he’s just greedy, like the way he stole the documents he wasn’t supposed to have, and when his lawyers told him to give them back, he made his own decision. Now the guy says the President can declassify by thinking about it. Unfortunately, TWO Federal Appeals Courts have already rules that’s not true. So you’re banking on a Supreme Court that will just bend over because they like him. That’s not going to happen. They didn’t bend over when he asked the SCOTUS to intervene in the election and it won’t happen when he asks them to change the laws to suit him.

Why? Does technology work differently in Europe? We have wind, don’t we? Nearly 10% of America’s electricity comes from wind power already. Wind power surpassed hydroelectric power in 2019. If it can produce ten percent, it can produce 20 or 30%, which will serve us just fine for a long time. -

Are you denying that Denmark gets half its electricity from wind? -

Well, for one thing, it shows that you were incorrect when you wrote that “Nothing we have at our disposal comes close to meeting our energy needs.” -

Denmark gets half of its electricity from wind. A full 50%, nationwide. But, however we get our power, it takes government investment. The Federal government spent very heavily on hydroelectric dams, nuclear energy, and of course the military conflicts which kept our supply of petroleum available. It would be so beautiful if Europe produced its own energy and left Putin with no source of revenue to finance his war. America would not have gone to war against Iraq twice if it weren’t for oil. -

Ukraine has not fired one single bullet into Russian territory, Ivan. So don’t give us the “It’s both sides fault” apologism. You’re obviously a Russia shill bot account. What’s your real name. Ivan? -

“Attorney General Letitia James of New York filed a sweeping lawsuit on Wednesday that accused Donald J. Trump, his family business and three of his children of lying to lenders and insurers by fraudulently overvaluing his assets by billions of dollars. Ms. James is seeking to bar the Trumps, including Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka, from ever running a business in the state again. She concluded that Mr. Trump and his business violated state criminal laws and “plausibly” broke federal laws as well. Her office, which lacks authority to file criminal charges in this case, referred the findings to federal prosecutors in Manhattan. They declined to comment on whether they would investigate. The 220-page lawsuit, filed in State Supreme Court in Manhattan, lays out in new and startling detail how Mr. Trump’s annual financial statements were a compendium of lies, according to Ms. James. The statements — yearly records that include the company’s estimated value of its holdings and debts — wildly inflated the worth of nearly every one of its marquee properties, according to the lawsuit. They include Mar-a-Lago in Florida, Trump Tower and 40 Wall Street in Manhattan.” https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/21/nyregion/trump-fraud-lawsuit-ny.html

BREAKING NEWS!!! Federal Appeals Court rules that the Classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago are classified! Trump is slapped down big time! Special Master will not review the classified docs, the Government is free to do what they please with them. The Court, composed of two Trump appointees and one Obama appointee, ruled: “Mr. Trump “suggests that he may have declassified these documents when he was president,” the appeals court wrote. “But the record contains no evidence that any of these records were declassified.” The court went on to say, “In any event, at least for these purposes, the declassification argument is a red herring because declassifying an official document would not change its content or render it personal.” Mr. Trump “has not even attempted to show that he has a need to know the information contained in the classified documents,” the appeals court wrote. “Nor has he established that the current administration has waived that requirement for these documents. And even if he had, that, in and of itself, would not explain why plaintiff has an individual interest in the classified documents.”
