Politicians in both parties always need strategies to win. The strategies of the Democrats is to play up their civil rights Bina fides, and to drive voter registration and turnout. The Republicans have their own strategies, with every single election. So don’t tell us the GOP didn’t have a Southern Strategy, because of course they did. PS: Nixon was opposed to school busing.

Once again, show us the evidence of your ridiculous lies or go tell Vladimir that you failed, comrade. -

You are obviously a Russian government plant. Do you have evidence of a single thing you just said? No, you don't. Because you're planting lies for Vladimir Putin, who would love nothing more than to roll one of his tanks down the streets of every house in America and Canada. -
I get that you're right-wing, and you need everything in little "information capsules" that are easy to digest... But, California is a massive geographic region with 11 separate climate zones, and one 8 year-old rainfall chart isn't going to tell us much. You can have very heavy flooding in the Mojave Desert which will boost total rainfall statewide, but it isn't going to help rainfall for the Central Valley farms, nor will it contribute to the drinking water stored in the Sierra snowpack. What's more, precipitation alone is only part of the problem, because average higher temperatures mean drier forests and greater amounts of evaporation. It's simply a much more complex subject than you're making it out to be, and certainly a single eight year-old article isn't going to answer all the questions.

BS. That article said the causes were: 1) The Fed 2) Trump 3) Biden And the chairman of the Federal Reserve was appointed by Donald Trump. So the Fed is Donald Trump’s fault as well. But is anybody really thinking about inflation outside the political lens? If we listen to Hoover and any Republican, they will tell us the reason is deficit spending. But, come on, that is obviously nonsense, because we have had deficit spending since the 70’s at least, and we had massive deficit surges under Reagan, Bush II and Trump, and there was no correlation to inflation. The world economy is in a reboot right now. Look at, say, Hertz rentals. They had lots and lots of cars they couldn’t rent during lockdown, so they sold them. Then, car makers could not produce enough cars. Demand for rentals is back to its old level but car availability is too low, so prices are high. That should be clear to anyone, and it has nothing to do with the deficit. Republican politicians know this, but Republican voters don’t know or care that deficits always grow faster under Republican Presidents.

The Folly of Ignoring Climate Change

Point out where the Bible says any of this nonsense you’re trying to codify into law. The Bible commands acts of abortion, doesn’t it? And it doesn’t say anything about so-called “conversion therapy.” You pick and choose the values you want, and then you seek to impose those values upon others. You’re probably like Herschel Walker, who’s making a living out of preaching against abortion and having kids out of wedlock, while doing exactly that. Your “moral heroes” aren’t moral at all. -

What the bill in fact does is remove meaningful personal choice by imposing the affirmation and promotion of homosexuality and/or gender transition as the only acceptable form of counsel, guidance or treatment – especially for children experiencing gender identity distress. Under the cover of outlawing barbaric and harmful ‘treatments’ that no-one actually practices, a radical and ideologically pagan view of sexuality and gender is enforced by making the definition of ‘conversion therapy’ so wide (including spiritual, medical and psychological supports) that youth with unwanted feelings or addictions would have no choice but to have ‘treatments’ that either reinforce these unwanted feelings and addictions, or permanently alter their bodies. It does this by banning alternative supports with the threat of imprisonment, violating the Charter rights and freedoms of children, their parents, church communities and health care professionals. unquote On the brink: the criminalisation of Christianity in Canada - Christian Concern Being homosexual is definitely not a sin in the Bible. It is committing the acts that is sin, correct? A man may have an uncontrollable list for 13 year-old boys. Acting on those impulses is the part that’s illegal, not having them. People lust for others in vain all the time. Married people do it. Teenagers do it. Everyone does, at one time or another. It is acting on the thought that creates the sin, and, in some cases, the crime. Personally, I think that trying to convert someone to being straight is a terrible thing to do to their future spouse. -

I’m going to ignore this reply because it’s an extremely long cut and paste. Point the salient facts out: Florists are being “persecuted” because they aren’t allowed to discriminate. Bakers are “persecuted” because they can’t discriminate. A football coach who was a public employee of a public school could not loudly publicly pray on government property during a government event. Is he allowed to pray silently? Yes. Is he allowed to pray at home? Yes. Is he allowed to pray on a street corner? Yes. Is he allowed to pray in church? Yes. Is he allowed to establish the religion used at a public school which is open to all faiths? No. At least, I certainly hope not. And please remind us what Jesus said about people who pray loudly in public. -

Dude, you’ve made your point. He’s a dummy and you can’t fix stupid. He doesn’t care what the truth is. A friend of a friend is a big-time Trumper. So of course she wouldn’t get vaccinated or wear masks. Cause Trump. She got Covid very bad, recovered, and a year later, she’s going to hospitals regularly with pulmonary problems. She has long Covid and it’s going to take years off her life but she still won’t get vaccinated or admit that the vaccine could have helped her. -

Christians aren’t being “persecuted”. Christians are the persecutors. Baking a birthday cake for somebody isn’t “persecution”. Let me unwind the nonsense: “Waaah!!! Boo Hoo!!! We aren’t allowed to discriminate against people! That’s persecution! God wants us to mistreat people and deny them of their rights and we’re being persecuted because we aren’t allowed to! Poor us! Wah-Wah!” -
“ President Biden on Thursday pardoned all people convicted of marijuana possession under federal law… The pardons will clear about 6,500 people who were convicted on federal charges of simple possession of marijuana from 1992 to 2021… Mr. Biden urged governors to follow his lead for people convicted on state charges of simple possession. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/06/us/politics/biden-marijuana-pardon.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare

America is already great. When Russia invaded Ukraine, America was there. When Ebola was threatening all of Western Africa, America was there. When there are tornados, hurricanes, famines, America is there. And that is why America is great, and we didn’t need that bloated windbag Trump to tell us we aren’t great. We are.

“Interpreted.” That is the term you chose. Your interpretation is perfectly fine with me, you have the liberty to do that, until you start demanding that we pass laws that enforce your interpretation. America was settled and founded by very religious people who were fleeing other Christian people who were doing precisely that. Did you know that? Like, the Pilgrims, Quakers and Shakers were Christians fleeing from the persecution of other Christians? So when we wrote a Constitution, we specifically stated that the government shall be separate from religion. Mark My Words: The instant America becomes a government that is lead by religion is the instant you will be persecuted for your religious views. Because some other guy will gain power who “interprets” differently than you do. Next thing you know, America will be no different than Iran. Think it can’t happen? Hello? Who came here to settle the country in the first place? -
There is no US law that says presidents are immune from all laws. Nixon and Clinton were not immune from US laws, and neither is Trump. Being elected President does not give you the right to violate any law you want. In fact, with all the incredible power vested in a President, they need to be a level above in following every law to the letter. They need to avoid all conflicts of interest and carry themselves to the highest ethical standards. Doesn’t matter if they’re an R or a D. Same rules either way.

Of course rioting was wrong. And, if prosecutors can prove that BLM or any group conspired to conduct violence, they should be charged with conspiracy. And any of those who engaged in illegal activities should be arrested and prosecuted. See how easy life is when you’re a Democrat? You just tell the truth and stick by the rules. I don’t need to come up with nonsense about how Ashlee Babbitt was just strolling along the street innocently reciting poetry when she was shot. I can just stick with the truth. Works just fine. Seriously, though, putting a D after your name does not make you automatically good. I don’t define Good and Evil as D and R. That would be very foolish. If someone breaks laws, they should face prosecution. Doesn’t matter whether they call themselves D or R. -

What do you consider a “reputable source”? That was the heart of Trumpism: To state that everything is a lie and every media outlet untrustworthy unless it is the self-contradictory words of Glorious Leader himself.
