Let me give you an example: Doctors at UCSF performed open heart surgery on a fetus in-utero. Scans showed that the fetus had a malformed heart and they concluded that the baby would not survive the birth process. In-utero surgery is very high risk. They tried, and were unsuccessful. They lost the baby, and then an abortion was necessary. You want to outlaw that?
