History? Historically, all politicians, regardless of party are responsible for this continued issue. Today's conservatives?? LOL A conservative is a conservative and was a conservative even in the past and into the future. Just as a liberal is a liberal, past, present and future. Point is, both are culpable irrespective of the point in time..

Fully understand your passion on the oppression in Iran but, there is oppression and atrocities in many many countries around the world. While Canada condemns and supports those in the oppressed countries, Canada cannot interfere (for multitude of reasons) in each and every one. Should Canada interfere in Iran more than in Iraq? Or Burkina Faso? Or Congo? Or Central African Republic? Even Afghanistan? Before you ask what those multitude of reasons are, just think for a minute... financial, ... political interference,... retribution,... religious and so on. Canada is not the moral judge or savior for all other countries issues.

You never figured out how to get money in perpetuity for that insult and demeaning phraseology. That's the difference.

Are you insinuating that when conservatives were in power they did not participate, acknowledge, condone the residential school issue? All parties in power were complacent with what went on at residential schools.

Some comes from the feds. Much comes from provincial taxes. 22% from feds, the rest from province. Provinces recently wanted the feds to up it to 35% -

Blame your provincial health systems for your health care problems. Ottawa is the farmer that sells you vegetables?? You have every right to be pissed at your predicament but, blame the right people -

Mellow out Dude (or dudette). I have told what I believe in. Why do people like you insist on dragging out and arguing or demeaning other opinions?? OK, yours is bigger than mine. Feel better?? LOL -
Credit card companies are not owned by the banks. 2 separate entities. Credit card companies are basically just loan companies. Banks are loan companies too but a bit more business activities. Using them as examples is false as they are separate in every way. You can go to a bank and get a line of credit or loan at about 7% or, you can use your credit card at 24%. Having said that, they are both businesses on the stock market and their obligation is to their shareholders.

Please stop being the climate change evangelist at me. I know your stance and I have told you numerous times of what I believe. I do not care about your stance. You are being like those guys that keep coming to the door pushing Watchtower and Awake. -

You know, I have to do this again "I will say one last time , I do believe there is climate change. " This discussion/debate/conversation can easily become a my link is bigger than your link bun fight. https://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2004/12/index I have said my piece. All I am saying is there is opposing sides to this topic. Trying to prove otherwise is a futile attempt at one upmanship. -

Thing is, not 100 out of 100 are in agreement. There are doubters and those that will show their evidence against it.. http://ossfoundation.us/projects/environment/global-warming/myths/31000-scientists-say-no-convincing-evidence I am not going to carry on with you as you seem to be one of those evangelists and they turn me off and I tune out. No insult. You sound like those anti vaxxers in rthe other threads with your posts to me. I just do not want to be preached to, by anyone, for anything. I have no entanglement. I will say one last time , I do believe there is climate change. -

No offence ? I ask questions and am allowed to. Qualified to what? To ask questions? To have doubt of some things being espoused? You need qualifications to question?? Since when? Because my questions or doubt about cause do not fit your narrative does not make me wrong or a doubter. Hesitation of what? To swallow every drop of koolaid that comes along? -

I mean the Al Gore and others doing the same industry. Inability to do as promised and signed up to do is failing. -
What a stupid question!. How would I know what and who a ruskie is? I have never once called anyone a russian bot, marxist, nazi etc. . That comes from your side of the fence. I still ask, what is a totalitarianists and what does it mean if they are one?

The Folly of Ignoring Climate Change
ExFlyer replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well Michael, we can admit failure or pretend we are on course. If everyone knows, and they do, we are failing, what should we do? Tax citizens more? Or force industry to lessen output and stop with this carbon offset BS. Asking me is nonsensical. I do not have a solution and no on else does either because we are not doing anything but creating a climate change industry. -

Michael, the Paris Accord is just another show business BS thing. You know and I know there was no way that was going to be achieved and it was an dis not. Taxing the Canadian public is show business too. We have fallen backwards, that is what pisses me off. The Paris Accord and the ones previous to that were pie in the sky show business. Not realistic and not achievable and making the taxpayer dig deeper into their pockets for what??
