If there wasn’t a war, and if Russia wasn’t already using this kind of munitions, then i would say of course he should. But, they’re fighting for their lives. Kill as many Russians as it takes for them to leave.

Good points. My first thought was “just lower income taxes”, but that would completely miss people who are too poor to pay taxes. So, making sure some of the poorest Canadians receive the rebate is the way to go. However, at the same time as inflation is happening, grocery chains are making record profits. The government has done nothing about price gouging, which also hurts the poor worse than anyone else. Record profits should mean record tax payments….

First, you made the claim. It’s not on anyone else to prove anything. Although, actual data was used to disprove your claim. Second, we use actual data. You have feelings. You FEEL Portugal is a cheaper place to live and has a better standard of living than Canada. Other than feelings, what empirical and objective data are you using?

And the data shows that Canadians, generally, make more in salary than the Portuguese and have more income vs monthly expenses. They make less money in Portugal. So, despite the increased cost of living here, we make a lot more money on average. So, while you may find it more affordable in Portugal, that’s because you have a higher living standard coming from Canada. If you insist on apples to oranges, your Canadian standard of living will make Thailand look like a bargain compared to Portugal.

Portugal has a lower costs due to lower standards of living. I’m sure you can get cheap bread in Lesotho too. But the comparison isn’t valid. Why not compare Britain or Germany to Canada?

It’s why we pay market price for nearly every commodity. Free market economics is the reason. Why would a fisherman sell to you for $5/lb when they can get $20/lb when they ship it offshore? Should the fisherman act as a charity so you can get cheap fish? They want to maximize profits so they can feed, house and clothe their families too.

If Trudeau retires, I can’t see PP winning. The only reason PP has a chance is because Trudeau is yesterday’s news. His leadership, or lack of, is getting to be tiring. That said, if Trudeau stays on, I agree that PP’s party will win the most sets, but I don’t think they’ll form government.

Teachers teach, and must snitch on their students. Your contention that a teacher will know who is abused is absurd. You are sending LGBTQ kids home to be abused.

I take the good parts, but recognize there are evil parts too. I disagree that someone should be fired because the child’s relatives abused them. It’s not the overworked case-worker’s fault. I provided an actual solution. More taxes to hire more case-workers. What’s your solution; fire everyone?
