In Canada, given the reported COVID numbers, do you think we should be stumbling over bodies dying in the streets? Did you look at the article about bodies in the street in India? Fake news? Sealion?

Have you been to India? I have not. But there are confirmed reports of people dying in the street. Will you simply say “fake news”? Or “sealion”? (Is that gibberish for “I don’t have an answer”? Why would you think that in Canada, where presumably you and I live, that we would see people dying in the street when we have 9-1-1, ambulances and hospitals?

Should I believe that a judge prohibited someone from ever talking about a case they lost? However, I will grant that is the case for sake of argument…. There are privacy reasons that one wouldn’t want to discuss an actual case in an open forum, and I wouldn’t want someone to reveal anything about themselves. Why would it be surprising that someone found guilty of defamation doesn’t like laws against defamation? Do you think murderers might argue against murder laws? Should their opinion have any bearing?

How did you calculate those probabilities?

Did Levant get successfully sued for calling a government official a “goose stepper”? Can you show a case where this actually happened? Is this just more hyperbole and people are not actually being sued for criticizing government officials?

If that were the case, then why isn’t it happening? From a legal perspective, criticism and libel are absolutely two distinct things. Could it be that your criticism is more that Canada should have no libel laws? Was your contention that people are being sued for criticizing government officials simply some hyperbole?

Do you think mainstream Canadians supported that POTUS and appreciated the MP broadcasting her support for him?

Would you agree that being found guilty of libel is not the same as “being sued for criticizing a government official”?

Does anyone think she appeals to mainstream Canadians beyond the Conservative Party’s ‘base’?

Difficult choices in difficult times… who said pandemics are fun and games? What did anti-vaxxers say about polio and smallpox vaccines? Do you think communicable diseases are the same as being pregnant?

Could it be possible that Satan is using you? How did you rule this out? Why is your definition the “correct” definition? If it’s “possible” that a god believer could be a secular humanist, then how could that narrow definition you gave be the correct one?

Can you name a country with a better legal system than Canada? Can you give us an example of where criticizing a government official got someone sued?

You really didn’t look at the website, or its criteria, did you? I never saw Nazi mentioned in their factors. Based on what criteria? Temporary vaccination mandates? Is that the only criterion? Why would you think that’s the only measure of freedom?

Would you have rolled over and accepted whatever the colonists deigned to give you? And when the colonists came knocking on the door to take their children away to be taught not to be “savages”, you think they should have just been happy to be provided with such an opportunity?

You’re right…. It didn’t answer the question. I didn’t ask what some Christian apologist says about secular humanism. Nor am I interested in what this random person thinks, otherwise, I would seek him out and ask them directly. What do you think? Also, why couldn’t a humanist also believe in a god?
