  1. I read that article yesterday and saw no evidence to support it's own claim about Canadians being divided on the issue. A couple negative posts and tweets don't 'prove' dick. Look at ALL the posts and tweets and it's pretty clear the vast majority of us are behind supporting Ukraine. Even after the latest news they're trying to cut military spending by $1 billion, no one is suggesting we stop funding Ukraine to keep the money for ourselves.
  2. Dad lived by his mantra that the four food groups were sugar, salt, grease and alcohol. Having Type 2 diabetes, I'm stuck with the last three...
  3. The deposit you referred to is turning out to be the largest deposit on the planet so far. And with battery tech advancing so rapidly, who knows if lithium will remain in such high demand. Toyota is claiming battery charging time will drop to 10 minutes by 2027,
  4. Time to hear from the Barbershop Quartet again: Who took the fun out of fundamental? Why the fundamental cases....
  5. Cuz obviously not one of them was native. Your views have formed from chats with fellow white whiners that never associated with 'those people' either. How many more negative stereotypes you gonna remind us of? You seem to believe those are helping you make your case. They're making mine, that you are blind to your own bigotry.
  6. So the entire thread title is utter bullshit. Georgia didn't fire a teacher for grooming students. They fired him for reading a book to the students that the School Board didn't like, Because deep in their black all-knowing little hearts they felt 10 & 11 year olds were too young to know the facts of life.
  7. Didn't hear you take that stand in threads about safe drug supply and injection sites.
  8. Wondered why there was no frothing over Biden's going to the picket line from our resident MAGAs? And no bragging about how the twat Trump showed up at a non-union plant and told them they're doomed as EVs will cost them their jobs and blamed the unions for making US auto workers un-competitive. Like ya know they're "demanding" ten times the wage they'd get in CHYNA.....
  9. Perspective, you do realize it was some bureaucrats attempt to promote a term that was less offensive. We all know how good [/sarc] they can be at their jobs. Which reminds me: We need to come up with a derogatory name for the Belgians....
  10. Oh I do support police officers, I have friends and relatives in the RCMP. They're just no more speshul than you or I because they wear a uniform. But I wouldn't expect someone who can't differentiate a fetus from a child to comprehend.
  11. You're referring to the Freedumb to promote and encourage stereo-types and racist views? You didn't counter my claim, you came back with the No! No! YOU'RE the racist argument just like I pointed out. Guess you'll have to vote for your hero:
  12. Not a matter of "liking". Just pointing out (once again) that it is meaningless and solely posted only to disparage the govt in the minds of people who can only serve negativity. Otherwise: Oh. next issue.......
  13. FTFY Groot. Say it like you really want to. Tell us how some guy on the rez has so much more rights and opportunity than 'normal' Canadians... how you're the one suffering from discrimination.
  14. Which means.....................??? nothing. But I love your attempt at logic. Whereas Someone in govt came up with some words nobody uses IRL and whereas the govt is Liberal and whereas liberals are left of my own political position therefore everyone who works for the govt must be a liberal supporter and therefore Leftist nutbars came up with these words. Rightwing reasoning at its finest.
  15. But someone's j'accuse op ed got published! It has to be gospel truth!
  16. I'd like to see actual statistics for teen mastectomies that has the 'reason for surgery' spelled out. I highly doubt that is even recorded. I say this as I was twice married to women that had tits so big they asked their doctors for breast reductions when they were teens. Both were told no, both found out when they were adults that ir was 'elective surgery' and could not afford it. Both suffered from back pain their adult lives from carrying around two watermelon size boobs their whole lives. Add on they could never grab a $20 bra at WalMart, the custom fitted ones were north of $100. I can believe hundreds of mastectomies were performed on teens, that is not a lot out of 20 million Canadian women. That they were done because of 'trans' reasons, I cannot even if every one had parental consent.
  17. What exactly is the "Problem" that it's not a solution too?
  18. No, those that don't give a shit about other people are a$$holes, sociopaths by legal definition. Just as people who think they can "own" their own future are delusional. It's too chilly to wear a T-shirt today and I live where it's 50% native. Gotta go downtown so I decided out of respect to pick the orange shirt out of the closet. Is that 'too woke' for you to even comprehend?
  19. HTG some of you can't unbderstand the simplest things. Nobody "Likes" taxes. Therefore if you ask anyone about any tax if it should be reduced or eliminated, you already know what the results are going to show. It's the same as taking a poll on "Do you want a cookie?" I was going to crack "Take Statistics 101" but if you can't understand the above, you won't even qualify to take it.
  20. Oh FFS my mother, my sister and I all use our 2nd names since birth. My kindergarten teacher didn't need permission from my parents to call me by the same name my classmates did. They certainly didn't need a LAW in 1959, and they don't need one now. Just like if my name was Lee Ching Fat they don't need a law and a note from home to call me "Tony" if I ask them to. Just like the very thought that if your 7yr old son wanted the teacher to call him "Shirley" that teacher wouldn't ask his parents why the first time they met. The whole argument for this so called movement is based on bullshit. Another conspiracy, plot, us and them paranoia based on the "I heard it happened once, so it happens all the time" claim. I can base on my own anectdotal experience that over 50% of the protesting parents never once attended Parent Teacher Night because the hockey game was on, FFS. The same parents were there and the same parents were missing at every one I ever attended. Just as the same one was at every school bard meet protesting sex ed.
  21. It's ok to execute people. It's ok to go into a sovereign country and kill someone you consider an enemy It's ok to use extrajudicial assassinations as foreign policy. Torture is ok in the interest of national security. Talk about an argument for the slippery slope claim. Proof that people had more evolved morals back in the 1960s, perhaps lifetimes of watching NCIS, FBI international and Seal Team 6 has desensitized more people than ever thought possible. I hold these as further examples of why the USA is no longer holds any claim to leading the civilized world.
  22. I know it came get confusing which they is them when there's more than one them in the same sentence but it must be near impossible to someone who can't even remember what side of the border the conversation is about.
  23. because the last thing you want immigrants to do is integrate into normal society like the rest of us?
  24. You're never going to convince these peopl that Judges are appointed for their legal prowess and not their politics. Just like you'll never convince them a Judge is a judge because they're smarter than their own dumb ass. They can't even figure out that if it violates the Constitution, it's wrong regardless of what they think.
