BC to sue producers of "harmful" products.

In reply to my posting: Guys that make exploding gas tanks in their Pintos are subject to lawsuits. ???? As usual, your reading dyslexia strikes again. -
BC to sue producers of "harmful" products.

Exactly. And cars and tools are subject to regulations. Like those cars you can't buy here as they ave no bumpers, pollution control or safety standards. Drills and saw without sheilded cable or grounds. Guys that make exploding gas tanks in their Pintos are subject to lawsuits. -
You must me an absolute imbecile to continue with the chem trail BS if you are clueless about how combustion works. I suppose you watch Masters of the Sky and think "gee look! Those B17s were spraying poison over Germany as they bombed it! It's been going on since WW2 and millions of airmen kept it secret!" Methinks you were affected by the lead chem trails of cars & trucks growing up.

Canada's dangerous slide into antisemitism

No you didn't. you never "get" anything. Your dyslexic brain causes you to interpret everything you read completely ass-backwards. -
The carbon tax is going up and so are emissions
herbie replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Just saw 3 people I know make comments like that on FB. We live in BC and they're too f*cking stupid to know they can vote out Trudeau and they'll still have the carbon tax. They paid it for 5 years before Trudeau was even around. Just like the dimwits that 'already forgot' how every damn time the tax is about to go up, they start hiking prices a month before. By a hell of a lot more. -
Should Evictions for Failing to Pay Rent be Immediate?
herbie replied to a topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
I would say it depends on the particular circumstances. Non-payment over a beef with the landlord. Find a way to pay the rent (or partial) instead to an adjudicator in trust until matter is resolved. History of late or non payments - bye bye! I've had experience with both good and absolute c*nts as landlords and bought my current home because in spite of using all my savings as a down payment the mortgage was $100 less at the time on the rent I was paying and had been issued a $100 increase notice. The savings paid off the mortgage early, and by that time the people in the place I rented were paying $550 a month more than my mortgage payment was. -
Canada's dangerous slide into antisemitism
herbie replied to I am Groot's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Countering the argument that Canada is not antisemetic by invoking the argument that systematic racism exists so therefore it must be is as out in left field as one can go, as is the statement that Jews must be a favoured race otherwise. As is the usual right wing racist whine that implying that rightwing racists exist is decrimination against hetero WASPs. An argument used only by racists too stupid to realize they are the problem and unashamed to voice it. Getting into etymology is a pretty desperate way to substantiate a case when used by people that love to throw words like "communism, left, nazi, fascist" about without even knowing their actual meaning. -

Typical ass backwards troll. Lie. lie. lie even if it's so wrong a two your old can spot it. You like a typical GOP are insanely jealous cuz Clinton got a blow job (w consent) and you never have. Like a typical MAGA misogynist Trump was not only found liable for it and defined a rapist by a Judge, that's just not good enough for you, you're a redneck plough-boy that knows better than a Judge & jury. Thar you continue to defend the indefensible fraudulent sack of shit in spite of all evidence, you have as much credibility as a rock.

There still is. The whiners have just got LOUDER and think they're the majority. Nobody likes to pay a carbon tax, just like nobody likes to pay GST and income tax, but only so many of us are dumb enough to cancel them and think that will lower deficits and not lead to massive program cuts. Heard someone pretending to be a young person on the radio claiming massive movement of youth to the party that's opposed every single benefit (child care, dental, pharmacare - hell way back to medical on Day One) that assists them and suddenly tries to convince us it supports working people despite its entire history of the contrary.

Canada's dangerous slide into antisemitism
herbie replied to I am Groot's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
"Canada" is not anti-semetic. It is not policy of the govt, nor is it a practice of the overwhelming majority of it's citizens. The majority of us do not give a shit where you go to church, what day you go to church or what name you call an imaginary man in the sky. And any attempt to blame or relate it to 'the left' is complete bullshit. Bigots come in all shades and political stripes as we can well see within this forum, as demonstrated by all those that incessantly berate any attempt to reverse discrimination as discrimination against them personally. -
Revised over the centuries by committees with predetermined agendas. And a social media cite with zero credibility. Why not tack on the 3% of climate scientists that disagreed with climate change 20 years ago as if none have ever considered further evidence. Don't consider in 160 years no one has disproved or provided any evidence against natural selection.

When has the govt of Canada not condemned the Oct 7 attack? When has it ever not demanded the immediate release of hostages? When has it ever not condemned anti-semitism ? Give up the constant lame accusation that any criticism of Israeli govt actions is antisemetic. You elevating Netanyahu onto your Holier-than-God pedestal beside Trump? -

If you answer yes to having more than $10K when you cross the border, the proper response for a Border Guard should be "Welcome! DO spend it all while you're here." -
Never Trump Republicans: the choice is due now
herbie replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
They still have a choice. They can use their brain and free will to vote Democrat and the GOP will have a chance to de-Trumpify it's taint. They only need to wait out 4 years and hopefully have a party they can actual;ly support again next time. -

Here we go again with the uber-right BS. Recognizing Palestinians is anti-Israel. Wait for the good part. Banning Canadian arms sales to Israel, that should tickle your innards.
