  1. The bible also says thou shalt not kill. What I cant find written anywhere in the bible is do what we say, not what we do. Curious.
  2. Far less balls, maybe. Far more deficit, definitely.
  3. There's a huge difference between "spare the rod" and sexual abuse.
  4. I'm not much of a fan of guns but that is one awesome pic!
  5. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/canada-role.html Under the Resettlement Assistance Program, the Government of Canada or Province of Quebec helps government-assisted refugees with essential services and income support once they are in Canada. This helps them to settle. The refugee gets this income support for up to one year or until they can support themselves, whichever comes first. Canada provides Resettlement Assistance Program income support to eligible clients who cannot pay for their own basic needs.
  6. The amount of hate that was generated in america when 911 happened was unbelievable. The u.s. is famous for overdoing things when it comes to war.

  8. The NHS results showed that the Philippines was the leading country of birth among people who immigrated to Canada between 2006 and 2011.Footnote3In 2011, around 152,300 newcomers were born in the Philippines, 13.1% of all newcomers. It was followed by China, from which roughly 122,100 newcomers or 10.5% arrived, and India, from which about 121,400 or 10.4% originated. Completing the top 10 countries of birth were the United States, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Iran, South Korea, Colombia and Mexico. Of the recent immigrants who were born in Africa, the three leading countries of birth were Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria. Colombia, Mexico and Haiti were the top three source countries of newcomers from the Caribbean, Central and South America region. The top source countries of recent immigrants from Europe were the United Kingdom, France and the Russian Federation. What I dont understand is why you people have to make everything about the muslim/sharia.

  14. During Harper’s reign, the Conservatives employed four tactics: ally themselves closely with Big Oil, tax cuts (especially for corporations), go to war with environmental, Indigenous and social justice groups, and embrace Islamophobia/anti-Arab bigotry. This meant ignoring or denying climate change, building pipelines, auditing environmental groups, and portraying Arabs as terrorists or less than civilized. This was seen in the treatment of Omar Khadr, who was accused of killing an American soldier during a firefight in Afghanistan at age 15. Khadr was detained at Guantánamo Bay by the Americans for 10 years where he was often brutally tortured. Yet the Harper government fought hard to keep him first in American custody, and then behind bars, despite the fact that a 2010 Supreme Court ruling found that his human rights were violated while in Guantánamo Bay. During the 2015 election, the Tories took a hardline position on Muslim headwear and vowed to set up a police hotline to report what it called “barbaric cultural practices." Also having this guy:

  16. Queen pulled it off pretty well.
  17. https://www.economicshelp.org/blog/10296/economics/top-co2-polluters-highest-per-capita/ The biggest absolute emissions come from China and the United States. In terms of CO2 emissions per capita, China is ranked only ranked 47th, at 7.5 metric tonnes per capita. The US is ranked 11th at 16.5 per capita and amongst countries with sizeable populations, has the highest CO2 emissions per capita. India is the third highest country in terms of absolute emissions, but only 158th in terms of per capita output with 1.7 metric tonnes per capita. Have they?
  18. Mr. Rickford told reporters that Ontario has more than enough energy now, pointing out that almost all of it comes from zero-emissions nuclear and hydro sources. Asked if Ontario will have to burn more natural gas – boosting greenhouse emissions – when nuclear plants go offline for refurbishing in the coming years, Mr. Rickford said his government is developing an energy plan that would avoid that outcome. I guess when they reveal this plan we'll know. I'm curious how they plan to keep the lights on without any emissions, wind, solar or nuclear power.
  19. That's why we had the paris accords.
  20. What you described to me borders on white supremacy/fascism. Not my Canada.
