  1. Eureka, that is going too far.
  2. Here is the CPC Web site, with the party platform. www.conservative.ca Here is the Republican National Committee Web site. www.rnc.org Instead of asking how they are different, why not show me how they are the same. You pick an issue and I will point out the differences.
  3. Typical Liberal arrogance when dealing with *commoners*. Keep it up. That is what's losing you this election.
  4. You aren't voting Conservative because you find their Web site to be too repetitive? Are you voting for any party with a Web site then?
  5. Ahh it came from the Sun chain pal. If you are to ignant to know which are the left-wing biased media sources your jokes are pretty pathetic.
  6. My point is that your point taking Willy to task for his point taking you to task. Yee haw, no wonder Canadians hate politics. The Liberals have added nothing constructive at all to this campaign. Ever stop to think that is why they are failing so badly. The Martin *brain trust* is made up of too many people with this us against them mentality. ps, why not post a link to that rare occurence in which you took Martin to task. It is pretty uncommon for a Martinite to question the word of the master...
  7. I am on the record opposing the more histrionic conservative media (the Mark Steyns, Ezra Levants, Anne Coulters and all of Fox News.) Here is proof. Raging against the right wing media... Can you point to anything you have done on this board that could be pointed to as anti-Liberal? or anything that got *Liberal* posters on this site upset at you? See, I make sure I am not in a glass house when tossing stones.
  8. Why not enforce licensing and insurance on home daycare operators? Why must all new daycare spaces created be at government run institutions?
  9. I think Willy accomplished that with his post. Any of your balance ever go against the Liberals newbie?
  10. Ahhh Willy. You have to remember HP didn't favour the Liberals until posters on this board *drove* him to that. You aren't really accomplishing anything, except pointing out how sad and vacuous the Liberal Party of Canada is at this point in time. Good work!
  11. Where does *Destructive Party of Canada* come from? Oh that's right. If you oppose the Liberals then you are an enemy of Canada. I forgot. My bad. So is that supposed to represent the Conservatives, the Bloc Quebecois or the New Democrats?
  12. The Liberals proved in 97, 2000 and 2004 how valuable negative campaigns can be in Canada. Besides, from the sounds of what you are saying you would think the Liberals are in the lead and don't have to change anything with their campaign. Bah!
  13. Hmmm, yet again not understanding. The CPCs most recent campaign ads will contrast quite nicely with the list just posted. Not getting angry, too happy with the way the campaign is going down to be worried about the dying attempts at the Martin government to survive.
  14. No policy. No record of accomplishments. No vision for the future. Empty one-liners is all you have to offer Canadians? That's ok. Maybe *tommorow* you can change the momentum of the campaign.
  15. Oh I get it. Scary-scary-scary won't work anymore. So make people afraid of the CPC by comparing them to the Republicans. Man the desperation of the Liberals is comical.
  16. Don't *listen* to the CBC. Probably catch the National about half the time and usually check out their Web site a couple times a day. I remember George Strombapopadolous accusing Harper of flipflopping a couple weeks ago. But that guy is an unabashed Liberal booster.
  17. Beautiful. I noticed the CBC questioning why *some* of Harper's policy announcements so far haven't been priorities. Again, if you have 40 priorities you don't have any.
  18. A politician with values allows those values to guide him in his decision making and policy pronouncements. So does anybody think Martin has a real set of values that guide him? Of course he talks about values. It is the easiest lead into an attack. That Martin - attack, attack, attack. Shows you what his *values* really are.
  19. Completely agreed. For whatever reason the MSM, save the CBC of course, has turned friendly towards the Conservatives. Who knows why this happened. Let's just be happy that it has.
  20. I agree with you about the marriage thing. You had to remember it was going to come up. Hell it was the first question on the English language debate. I think the Conservatives strategy of dealing with the issue early, and hoping that it fades away has paid off. A shrewd move that symbolizes the lessons they have learned.
  21. Unless you use government approved/sponsored/created daycare, you get no help from the government. No choice.
  22. Nothing about the Conservative platform is scary to Canadians. The Liberals used the scary scary scary strategy in 1997, 2000 and 2004. Granted, there may have been some truth to it in 2000. Regardless, it is just a strategy that they Liberals used to win elections. Harper has been brilliant in laying out the policies that will guide his government. People are looking for a positive change, and he is providing it.
  23. I personally don't favour that option. It shouldn't be a requirement to vote. People should be free to choose whether or not they want to go to the polling station. I would see a *mandatory* vote as being an unnecessary restriction on personal choice. (That being said, I am sure that a much greater percentage than 60% of the people on this site will go out and vote.)
  24. The CPC plan costs less money, and gives parents the choice to stay at home with their children. The Liberals really are sending mixed messages. Today's theme is how the CPC will turn us towards deficits. Not if you use daycare plans as a guide they won't...
