Neither do Democrats. If you don't have the President committing a crime, you aren't going to succeed in removing them from office via impeachment. Even if you do have them committing a crime, they could get off and be more popular than ever, see Bill Clinton. Going forward with ground as flimsy as the Democrats are using to go after Trump will just help Trump, and they have less on Trump than Republicans had on Clinton. If you think going forward on impeachment without evidence of a crime is going to hurt Trump, you are engaging in wishful thinking.

He won't be subpoena'd and if he is, it just means the Republicans are sure his testimony will play to Trump's advantage. Don't get your hopes up.

He'll be re-elected, and impeachment will be one of many causes. The Democrats would have been better off to not have tried to impeach him, but that wouldn't have saved them.
