  1. Except many of them don't give up what they are required to, some protection racket.
  2. I mean clearly America is doing the heavy lifting when it comes to defending and upholding the entire Western Hegemony, if you disagree, you simply don't want to give America credit where it is due.
  3. It's those not paying 2% who are the deadbeats, you're not even paying attention.
  4. The Iran Deal sucked, tearing it up was totally the right move.
  5. Brits will make up all sorts of nonsense to malign an American marrying into the Royal Family. It's not a race thing, it's an Anti-American thing. If she was born in Alabama and was 100% white, they would say she's a redneck with KKK connections, or some such silliness.
  6. Which makes most of the country. Y'all look down your noses at Americans, always have, it started long before Meghan was even born.
  7. Brits with America Derangement Syndrome think all Americans are from Compton, basically. Turns out Brits don't take kindly to Yanks dating or marrying into the Royal Family, who knew? Wallis knows.
  8. If the best criticisms you have about Trudeau are character based, you have Trudeau Derangement Syndrome. Character attacks on politicians are weak sauce, if they are the best you got, either step your game up or you're case against that politician is garbage.
  9. Denying the existence of The Hockey Gods will not make them any likelier to take a shining to the Leafs, that I can tell you. The Colorado Avalanche used to be The Quebec Nordiques. So the answer is, they used to recognize Her Majesty as the head of state, but no longer, and won two Stanley Cups since leaving Confederation, including one the year immediately after they did so. Apparently The Hockey Gods look kindly upon ditching confederation, Patrick Roy knows. F*ck Canada.
  10. I will not doom myself to a life of suffering and an eternity of failure. The Leafs have been doomed to wilderness long before I was born, it's called The Curse of Harold Ballard. I am far more attached to the Avs than I was ever attached to the Leafs, it is too late to turn back now, even if I wanted to, which I don't.
  11. The Hockey Gods approve of my decision and they will understand if you ditch them now as well. God is not a Leafs supporter, he ain't mad at me either. Stick with the Leafs now, and they will punish you for eternity, don't say I didn't warn you. Being a Leafs fan is being damned to hell for all eternity before you even die, Leafs fans know.
  12. Two months? I put in over 7 years, with my Dad being a Leafs fan. My dad is jealous, wishes he could have done the same. Doom yourself to a lifetime of misery based on two months if you want to, but eventually you'll realize I was right, and by then it will actually be too late to take my advice. Dougie's dad told him same thing as my dad told me, but it was already too late for Dougie to change by then, and he himself will tell you our dad's were right about cheering for the Leafs being a lifelong curse to be avoided if possible.
  13. Being a Glory Hunting Judas can pay off big time, don't be so quick to knock it, just because you did it with the wrong team. Doing it constantly is lame, but doing it once and sticking with it, perfectly respectable. You have no real connection to the Leafs, you can drop them and pick a better team to cheer for, I had more of a connection to the Leafs than you did when I switched teams, and I never looked back. My Dad scared me off subjecting myself to a lifetime of misery, it was a great decision to take his advice and bail before it was too late.
  14. You're going to need that experience, being a Leafs fan is a lifetime of misery that I gladly avoided by jumping ship while I still could. Best sporting decision I made in my entire life, Lets Go Avs.
  15. He openly bashed Obama's Iran strategy when running for office, it shouldn't be news to anyone paying attention that he wasn't nearly as keen on appeasing Iran as Obama, it was plain as day.
  16. Republicans going after Clinton on character was as big of a sign of weakness from Republicans as it is from Democrats when they go after Trump on character. It is a lame angle of attack, no matter which side is doing it. Attacking a politician on character is either a distraction from the actual things they deserve to be criticized for, or they are resorting to attacking their character because there is nothing relevant to criticize that is swaying public opinion, so they reach for irrelevant things to criticize in order to critique them because it's all they got.
  17. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a helluva drug, those who have it especially bad side with Iran over Trump. All Trump had to do was not appease Iran to make the Democrats fall over themselves to become Iran sympathizers.
  18. If all you have is "I don't like Trump's character", that is a very weak argument against him, and it's pitiful that these are the best anti-Trump material you have. You are also a very poor judge of character, if you think Trump is so much worse than the alternatives, even on the character tip.
  19. David Frum has Trump Derangement Syndrome. Trump doesn't assassinate people based on tweets, it's idiotic to suggest that he does.
  20. Wrong. Pointing out that a politician lies is like pointing out that the sky is blue, doesn't matter which side the politician is on. Lying is in the job description fool, start focusing on politicians actions, not their words. If you are criticizing their words, it's because you don't have good enough material to attack them on their actions, or you are getting caught up attacking something that is irrelevant and ignoring what is relevant, just because you are too triggered by lies. Politicians want you to focus on their lies, so you are too distracted to notice their actions, and you play right into their hands with your tunnel vision on their lies.
  21. Who cares why he made that excuse initially? You always get up on the smallest nitpicks to attack Trump, try picking your battles with him better, for once in your life. He is not going to use the justification for why he killed Solemani and apply that to someone who poses no threat to America whatsoever, he did it to take one of the top terrorists in the world, those who aren't legitimate terrorists have no cause to worry at this point, because that was part of the criteria, not just simply being a bad guy.
  22. He doesn't have to provide that evidence. Solemani's job is to greenlight terror attacks, you don't need the time, date and location of those attacks nailed down before you take him out, he's done it before, and he would have done it again. I've seen no evidence that he reformed his ways and was going to stop with the terrorism any time soon.
  23. In the case of Trump I view him as a productive bastard, he's hired to do the job, not be Mr. Nice Guy. If you have concerns about his job performance, that is the best material to attack him with, not his personality. If all your problems with him are personality based, then you have no good argument against Trump whatsoever. The thing about most Trump Haters is, they get caught up on personality concerns and never have good criticisms of his actions, while his supporters often have way better criticisms of him, despite not hating him.
  24. Evaluating Presidents on personality traits rather than job performance is a dumb way to evaluate Presidents. Actions speak louder than words, when are you ever going to learn that? Your faith in international cooperation to solve Middle East issues, climate change and trade imbalances is laughable, international cooperation is vastly overrated by naive wishful thinkers who think the only reason major world problems haven't been fixed is not enough globalism.
