      Canada is being stupid. Rather than try and get cozy with the Chinese communist totalitarian regime, Canada should take a strong position in alliance with the United States. Canada should make a deal with the US to go after China economically as much as possible, shut the door on China in a way that the US will capitulate by offering economic protection. Trade partners working together to get the win.

    Very interesting thread Argus, once again on point with the issue regarding immigration. The issue with immigrant labour is that they literally drive the salaries down. It's good for the elite, but the working class is hurting, and the youth too, since immigrants go to low qualification jobs mainly.

      I think the CNN ratings say something on their own, without political bias. Their ratings have been way down for several months. They went from # 1 to not even being on the top ten list. Meanwhile Fox news went completely the OTHER way. I think that says what Americans believe... they're tired of the liberal nonsense. Liberals have been caught out, lying, trying to fool us. You can't fool all of the people all of the time.

    Contrary to the Hawley-Smooy Tariffs inflicted on trade partners, it would be a deadly blow to a trading opponent. I singled out China on this thread because they are not economic partners in any way shape or form.

    I still don't get how Nylander wasn't traded yet. I don't believe he'll live up to his contract and may be very hard to trade later on in his contract, rather than this summer. Especially when Marner needs to be signed. Nylander is nowhere near Tavares, Marner or Matthews in terms of... everything actually. He's a liability .

    Some individuals exhibit behavior that could cause an economic collapse, impacting everyone in the country, especially the poor. Some people are very impulsive and measures to let people take a path which will eventually kill their and our finances isn't something we should encourage. Justin Trudeau, with the temptation of an easier loan to get, may indirectly cause many thousands of individual defaults of payment, and many broken homes, lives, and suicides will be caused by this measure to let people get access to the credit trap, to maintain an already artificial house market, which bubble will explode any time soon.
