paxamericana replied to Zeitgeist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Why? Because you haven’t 51st. This may shock you to hear but yes we Treat Canadians the same way we treat Iranian terrorist. The law makes no distinction between different foreigners. Don’t like it? Petition for statehood, it’s not like we didn’t offer it. So it’s on you Canada -

“In 2022, he pleaded “no contest” to tax evasion and agreed to a monthly repayment plan. Over the past three years, Dixon says he has paid back two-thirds of the amount but still owes the U.S. government approximately $12,000.” Why should the American people put up with criminal Alien? This is the reason you want to move to Panama? Sounds like you’re better off donating 12k to the poor guy so he can get current with his taxes. -

that's an entirely wrong misconception of America. Our premise is to be left alone. The rest of the world would go to shit and create problem for us if we left you all to your own devices. You think Americans like paying for a world police force!? We do not! The last two time we left you all alone you all can't help but drag us into your bull sh!t. You know how totem poles work right, the one on top look down and see nothing but sh!theads, and the one at the bottom see nothing but as$holes. -

You do live in Canada right? Your oligarchs run the most protectionist market in North America? @Zeitgeist would have you believe it’s better cheese but we all know the reality. Your market can’t compete with American producers. -
Who will control the World's Oil?

You all just needed a reminder of who is the World's Super Power. Iran's Navy was on the bottom of the ocean in the first 48 hour. Never forget, the US military has the ability to put at risk ANY target. You seem to think China and Russia is beyond American reach. I can assure you, that's fake news. Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Ukraine, these are just opening acts. There won't be much of a China or Russia by the end of this decade, not as a meaningful power or even regional. I would advise against an elbows up approach to your American relations, its not wise. -

No they are deindustrializing as manufactures are getting out of dodge. For a manufacturing economy, that’s not a slowdown that’s collapse. Don’t mince words. -

The same thing we’ll do to all the other country that threatens the petrol dollar. Regime change. In the particular case of China, they are under going economic collapse. And if push comes to shove a wholesale famine should we wish to. So let it be a warning to any would be adversary who thinks they can challenge American supremacy, don’t fck with us. Here is your mobile on demand regime change service. We have 11 of these, come git sum. -

Tell that to the speculators. And then again, what is currency if not the immaterial, value. Gold is much the same as crypto in those regards. No luck needed. It’s currency backed by the world’s deadliest military in history. -

Well the Chinese low cost manufacturing is going away, 50 year of one child has eroded their cheap supply of peasant labor. So the question is who can do the low and mid end manufacturing and assembly. Mexico. America has always been on the high skill high productivity of the labor market. Mexico lacks the infrastructure to support the energy intensive industries so that leaves Texas or Canada. Since you all wanted to ebows up, that pretty much narrows it down. -

Short term growing pain. The backbone of American economy is shifting towards high productivity AI related industries. Low skill manufacturing is going to Mexico and the southern border. Canada, well you all get to sit this one out. -

Maybe I’m not being specific, American farmers will not be hurting. And before you get to your keyboard, like fuel, fertilizer are globally traded commodity, hence that word “global” which has no bearing on US decision making. The department of agriculture will subsidize if they see fit a genuine threat to us food production. And if things fall apart bad enough, the us president can shut down the export of fertilizer, at which point we’re looking at a global famine outside the western hemisphere. -

Trust me they won’t. Food security is a top priority for any goverment. Well except Canada it seems. more calorie means more humans and more capital. We can produce food cheaply at scale. Is the point. Why some individuals make poor lifestyle habits is irrelevant. Contrast that to third world Canada where food insecurity is at an all time high. Yes in America we have first world problems. -

Don’t need those type of fertilizer. Nitrogen is a byproduct of oil production, the us is self sufficient in that particular input. -

Listen here Canuck, your fertilizer is our fertilizer and that’s how it’s gona be. Now that it’s clear. Yes the Us is completely self sufficient in pot ash fertilizer or else 51st. -

Brics not so much, it’s a bunch of competing interest that won’t amount to any real threat. None of those countries posses the means or ability to enforce a currency of their own. It’s crypto that is a real threat. Hence US government crackdown on none sanctioned crypto. That being said, like Lybia , Venezuela Iraq and now Iran. Any threat to the petrol dollar will incur a regime change or national dissolution. That includes the Chinese who are target number one.
